Over the years, my father and I have enjoyed meals and happy hours at Nick's before it was rebranded under new owner Jason Brody. We always enjoyed the service, the food, and the specials. The location has also been so convenient being near where I live. I recently went to Brody's Italian for the first time since the rebranding. I enjoyed the food on the visit though the service was hit or miss during the meal. The prices were a bit higher than expected though the taste of the food was worth it. We started with some fresh bread for the table of the four of us. My father enjoyed a Caesar salad (lettuce, parmesan, croutons, and Caesar dressing). For dinner, I ordered a Chicken Piccata dish with chicken, capers, lemon, butter, and white wine sauce served with angel hair pasta. If I preferred, I could instead have had other pasta or a side of vegetables though. My father ordered a Chicken Parmesan with chicken, parmesan, mozzarella, and marinara sauce. My wife ordered a Garden Salad with Salmon added. The salad also had lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, and dressing. We were quite filled by the time dessert would have come so we decided to skip that. All of us thought the food was delicious. If you go to the Brody's Italian website (https://brodysitalian.com), you can read the menu, order dishes online for pick-up or delivery, learn more about catering and bar options, order gift cards, read news about the restaurant, see a gallery of dish photos, read FAQs, contact the restaurant, see reviews, and sign up for their newsletter. Note that Brody's Italian is a walk-in only restaurant; however, you can call ahead to reserve a table for a group of 6 or more. The restaurant is open daily from 4 PM to 9 PM. If you want good Italian and are not concerned about price, definitely check out Brody's Italian at some point! read more

Ordered through Uber Eats. The food was good, but I think eating in the restaurant would show their food better than delivery. We had the veal Milanese with spaghetti and the chicken Florentine with vegetables. The pasta was a little dry, probably from the delivery, but the veal was delicious. The chicken Florentine was excellent. We also had cannoli and tiramisu for dessert. Both were tasty, just a bit overpriced for the size. read more

I wanted to share my experience with Brody's. It was fantastic from the time we walked in to the end of our lunch. Jason Brody is a gem. So patient and kind dealing with guests that are first time diners. I asked for an espresso martini and it almost knocked me on my butt at 11:30am I took Jason's suggestions off the menu. All a home run. Chicken Parm is the best in the west. Perfectly steamed vegetables for the side, Risotto with added shrimp to go for my husband, which was fabulous. The best touch was the canoli with a candle in it for my friends birthday. Looking forward to coming back Dawn P Scottsdale read more

I have to say, Brody's is ALWAYS outstanding!!! The food never fails to bring happiness to both my belly and my mind. It's comfort food, yes, but also truly delicious Italian cuisine. And then there's the service--absolutely top-notch! Jason, the owner, knows his regulars, but even if you're a first-timer, by the time you leave he knows you, too. He wants every guest to feel welcome, and just like that, your first visit turns into becoming "a regular." Kudos to this establishment for serving fabulous food and giving us our own real-life "Cheers" to call home. ! read more

It was our first time coming to this Brody's Italian restaurant and as it is nice, we didn't feel dressed up enough to dine in (it was a spur of the moment decision to go there as we'd been running errands), we decided to order take out. Kalleigh was the hostess who answered questions for us on the menu items, took our order and brought out our food. She was very friendly, welcoming and was able to answer all of our questions. She gave us a very positive first impression of Brody's Italian restaurant. The chicken Piccata was delicious and the baked ziti wasn't bad either. The Tiramisu was the star of the show, it was heavenly! read more

Not sure about these "one star champions" who are too lazy to actually go to the restaurant and complain about a Door Dash order but we throughly enjoyed our dinner at Brody's Italian restaurant. We had the fish special and the chicken Florentine which were both great. Chicken wasn't "rubbery" and the fish was cooked perfectly. For me service is a very important part of the dinner experience and Orlando was top notch! For all you cheap people go to Olive Garden! Great food, great wine and amazing service! Thanks to the team at Brody's Italian! read more

Went in last night and from the start it was great. Staff was friendly and helpful. Food was so delicious. The pasta fettuccine was the best I've had. The chicken parmigiana was a favorite at our table. I would absolutely come back. read more

Last night we had an amazing takeout experience for my fiancé's birthday. We grabbed our order to go, and it absolutely didn't disappoint. The food was some of the best Italian we've ever had, and we can't wait to go back again! read more

Brody's Italian catered a family dinner party of 20 people for me. Caesar salad, lasagna, penne all campagna, pizzas and their homemade Tiramisu. Jason couldn't have been more helpful to me with ordering via phone from another state. When I picked the order up it was exactly what I ordered, ready on time and Jason placed it carefully in my car himself. Everything was absolutely delicious and quickly eaten by my family! I wouldn't hesitate to do it all over again! read more

I don't get the 1 star reviews at all....whenever we have eaten in, or ordered through door dash, we have always been satisfied, feel Like we have had a quality meal, and felt that it was priced reasonably. I don't normally like when owners respond negatively to customers, because I think that they should always try to make it right, but in the case of the situation 1 star reviews, I kind of agree with the owner who always seem reasonable (but I would recommend softening the tone a little so as not to off put new customers). Anyway, we have been customers for years, and will continue to recommend! read more

My husband and I had dinner here tonight for our anniversary and we LOVED EVERYTHING about this place. The service, the atmosphere, and the food was INCREDIBLE! For appetizers we ordered the Calamari and Mozzarella in Carrozza and both were 10/10. For our entrees my husband ordered the Chicken Parmesan and he had no complaints, he cleared his plate in record time. I ordered the Baked Ziti and it was cooked to perfection, perfect amount of spice as well. I believe this restaurant is a perfect date night spot, we will definitely be back! I'm sending a huge thank you to everyone who helped us tonight, you guys are awesome! read more

Ok to start we love to support local restaurants/stores. I hate to write this review. I'd also like to be clear that we did not dine and ordered off DoorDash, and selected express delivery so not other stops. This was hands down the worst food we've received in delivery. We ordered 2 chicken parms, one chicken piccata, roasted veg, garlic bread and a salad. We threw all in the trash minus the salad which I HATE doing. Upon opening the containers the smell was off on the chicken, all the chicken dishes were rubbery minus the piccatta which we couldn't test because the smell was so over powering foul. (and not from capers). I've seen the response from the owner on bad reviews which I'm sure I'll get, again not personal, but need to do better. read more

Getting an invitation to drive 45 minutes away from home to have dinner? Boy, this place better be good. I'm here to tell you, it was SO good that I would make the drive over and over again. The homemade pasta was the absolute best I've ever had, and I make pasta myself (that I WAS proud of, now I'm insecure). Everything from the cocktails to the desert was delicious. (They have Gluten-Free options available) The service was exceptional. Take someone you love, and want to impress, to Brody's . read more

Food was yummy, service was great! Chicken parm was perfect. Feels family owned in all the best ways.

We love this restaurant and are long time customers going back 15+ years. The food and service are excellent. It is a part of our restaurant rotation. Some of our favorite dishes are the chicken tortellini, baked ziti bolognese, pizza, chicken giordini and chicken parm. Their bread is always excellent as well. It reminds my husband of the neighborhood Italian restaurants he grew up with in NYC. We are fortunate to have this restaurant in our area! read more

Absolutely loved my meal at Brody's Italian. Stopped in on a Wednesday and grabbed a seat at the bar. A few regulars insisted the shrimp was a must and they were absolutely right, so now I'm passing that recommendation along. Jason behind the bar also made an excellent martini. Easy 5 stars. read more

We dined at Brody's for lunch today. We have been looking for a new "favorite" Italian restaurant and we have found it! Great food, great service and great atmosphere. I had Chicken Marsala and my husband had Chicken Parm. I also had a "Pick Me Up". All were fresh and delicious. Thank you Jason for a memorable meal! We will be seeing you again soon. read more

Excellent Italian food. Their baked ziti is terrific. So was the pizza. We enjoyed the Caesar salad, and, also the wedge salad. They offer a full bar along with a large wine list. The staff is professional and friendly. Can't wait to return and try other entrees. read more

And, as for Jason's reply, that is his so called recollection of events. Funny, mine is completely different. Believe whomever you want. In addition, it is my right as a customer to recommend or not recommend any restaurant I want. Jason wants to paint me as the villain in all of this, but that was far from the truth. They passed the buck back on Door Dash when it was clearly HIS EMPLOYEE'S mistake, not Door Dash's mistake. I wanted my DINNER, not a bunch of clams as you said, SERIOUSLY??? And yes, I will continue to NOT recommend your restaurant. An upstanding business owner/manager would have taken the high road and corrected the mistake. read more

Came here tonight for happy hour and the place was packed! Really good wine selection and great menu! This was my first time here since the rebrand and I will definitely be back. Deeee Licious! Excellent, flavorful, and ample cocktails too. Super Happy Hour selection if you're just looking for a quick nosh. This is a great place to bring family, friends, and clients. Location is super accessible and convenient. The staff is very attentive. Say, "Hello" to Jason (the owner) behind the bar if you're in there during the week. He's an avid sports fan with lots of cool stories to share. Does it get any better? Make it your local watering hole! See you there... read more

This place is wonderful. Been coming here for ages and what's consistent is pretty much everything. Great food, delicious sauce (and I love their meatballs). Delicious cocktails and the service is the best. Highly Recommend read more

The food was great and our servers were very friendly and attentive. The restaurant is quiet enough to have a conversation.

We ordered takeout and service was good. Their food is a bit pricey for what you get. We have eaten here before when it was Nick's. Their food is good, but paying $15.00 for a Cesar Salad that just contains lettuce, cheese, and extremely stale croutons is a bit much. We should have skipped that. most of their main dishes are pretty good, the salad was disappointing. read more

Would not recommend. Both the pizza and pasta were decent. We got the margarita, bbq, and bianca pizzas. The margarita and bbq pizzas were average at best and the bianca pizza we could not even finish. We also ordered pasta that was suppose to come with pesto sauce. Instead there was no sauce. See photo. It was a to go order. I asked for silverware and didn't get any nor did I get the crush pepper I requested. Garlic bread was terrible. It was stale and had no flavor. I was able to feed and had leftovers for 16 for about $110 - but maybe it was because the food wasn't good. 2-stars because two of the pizzas were decent. As for the comment from the business: allow me to clarify, 2 of the 16 in our group included a 2 yr old and 6 yr old. 4 of the 16 had already eaten dinner. So I suppose it really fed just 10. We ordered pasta with pesto so if the photo shows a different pasta dish as you mentioned, well that would mean they didn't give us what we ordered. Not to mention the dish we did get was not good. I forgot to mention we got the Alfredo pasta as well which was also just decent. read more

I'd seen a number of bad reviews so was hesitant to try it, but then two separate friends both mentioned that Nick's is one of their favorites, so we decided to give it a try. Now I won't claim it as a favorite because we've had some really great Italian here in the valley, but it was pretty good - maybe top 10. We went on Sunday afternoon/early evening and it was pretty quiet. We were seated almost immediately, but for some reason we were seated at a back table where the ceiling fan wasn't working. We didn't notice until about halfway through the meal when we were getting quite warm. It was 110 outside, and I did mention to the hostess on the way out that they might not want to seat anyone else back there. Service was pleasant and prompt. And we never felt ignored. We started with the calamari, which was good. Nothing spectacular about it, just your typical calamari with red sauce. I ordered the baked ziti with meatballs and hubby had the veal marsala - if veal marsala is on the menu, he is definitely going to order it. Ziti was so hot when it came out, but so delicious. Meatballs were tasty and I'm known for being picky about meatballs. The cook on the ziti was perfect and a nice amount of cheese on top. I took leftovers home and we split it for lunch the next day, so you know portion size was good. Hubby ate all of his marsala. He said it was very good. He always compares to a place we made the mistake of going to when we lived on the east coast where the mushrooms were obviously canned and the veal was tiny little medallions and had no flavor. This was definitely not that! We got dessert to go - tiramisu and cheesecake. They were already in the bag and wrapped up so we didn't even look at them until we got home. Happy to say that the portion size was very generous. Given the rise in prices for dining out these days, I appreciate that they didn't skimp on the portion size. Overall a good meal and we wouldn't shy away from going back. read more

We really wanted to like this place! But so disappointed. The price was high for what they serve, food was subpar bland. I got the lobster ravioli for and my husband got the New York strip with linguini which was $58 and it was chewy and dry. The service was good but overall for our $140 meal including two glasses of wine we will not be coming back here. Maybe with the new management it will change. read more

Yummy food and the service was very good. They are carrying to Nick's tradition of good food and service!

I was surprised to find that I'd never done a review for Nick's - I've been going to Nick's for much longer than I've been Yelping, so I guess I just didn't think of it. Nick's has been our go-to Italian food spot for 20+ years. This time around, we needed a place that could seat 7 people who hadn't planned ahead and didn't have a reservation. They got us seated and we got our order in. It seemed like maybe they were a little short staffed in the kitchen, as the wait was longer than usual, but when the food came out, it was very good, as always. My cousin got a salmon dish, and said she thought it might have been the best fish dish she'd ever had. I went with the Lobster ravioli (I've been stuck on that for a while now - it's really good). My daughter-in-law ordered the Penne Pasta - she said it was the best Penne Pasta she could remember, too! I didn't take any photos, because I thought I'd reviewed Nick's already...I'll fix that next time! read more

New to the neighborhood and thought we would check this place out, we went on a Wednesday evening and it was very quite. My wife and myself both went for the specials I had the strip steak with a mushroom sauce for $58.00 honestly have to say this was one of the worst steaks I had had in a very long time quality was poor and a lot of fat not trimmed. The fish dish my wife had was not much better. Total bill for 2 was close to $200 which is what you would pay at a higher end steakhouse with aged steaks. Big mistake on our part ordering the special but will not be returning too many other good restaurants in area. read more

This place is authentic Italian food! The music was very modern which was interesting but in all, great vibes. I had the vegetable risotto, and my goodness, it was so creamy and cheesy, just how I like it. My friends got drinks -- they were strong. The pizzas looked yummy and everyone loved their food. Service was great - attentive! A tad on the expensive side but it's authentic so you're paying for that read more

The bill was $200 for two entrees & 4 drinks espresso martinis. Not kidding. I literally wish I was kidding.
