Love Micheal's for all my crafty necessities, BUT this one is truly lacking... a couple months back they reorganized the store lay out and its horrible! I cant find anything.. just seems very crammed and dirty. As for the employees they aren't that helpful.. some may say they hate their job. Only plus is that its 10 min away from my home and ill stop by if i truly need something, otherwise I prefer the Micheal's in City Of Industry. read more

They have the cutest craft stuff, but several of their employees are rude and useless. I was asking for help to find an item and nobody took the time to help me. When you go here, you are on your own. Everything is pricy. read more

Everything I grabbed was either 50% off or buy one get one 50%, over 10 items didn't ring up correctly, refuse to go back. Service is horrible, even to return items you have to restand in line. Awful!!!! You ask before you close ticket out to double check items and they tell you it will show discount at the end of transaction, by then you forget and leave the store, only to have to come back or call it a loss. read more

I like the sales and coupons, The store is a bit confusing to find your things, I read the signs but not helpful, No one is asking if you need help, no greetings. I had to actually get the tall guy with black hair who seems to hate his job and had a mad face on him. He had the audacity to tell me "I have no idea" and "I don't know" TWICE in my 2hr shopping trip, and he seemed to get more and more angry when I kept asking where things were, This was my first time here and the signs don't really help. I like the prices and items but the staff is horrible. read more

Always leaving disappointed. I can't never find what I'm looking for. The checkout is always slow. Going to start shopping at Hobby Lobby across the street. read more

I don't know why everyone hates on this place.. I always find everything I need when I need it. This location is smaller then some I've been to but it has a pretty big scrapbooking department; which is where I usually shop. There are always sales going on and I receive coupons in the mail for additions savings so I feel like I generally get a great deal. Yeah there are not many employees cruising around to ask for help finding things, but if you know how to read the department signs and are not lazy, generally everything is pretty straight forward as far as locating things go. The cashiers are always super friendly as well. read more

Haven't been to this Michaels in a long time and now I know why! Store was dirty. Many items my friend and I picked up had a lot of dust on it. Staff did not check up on us to see if we needed help. My friend and I looked so lost, since we don't usually go to this Michaels, and at least two employees passed us without saying a word or attempting to help. At checkout my cashier was not very friendly either, she was too busy talking to her coworker, which was obviously more important than me. I had a coupon and after my other friends had bought their items I realized my coupon didn't even work! Sort of frustrating... Customer service is huge in my book and it definitely needs to be improved. read more

I have been a customer of this Michael's store for some years, however, today I experienced staff that wasn't friendly and given a hard time over coupons. It just felt it was real petty in my opinion, I do a lot of crafts and spend a lot of money at craft stores, yet this Michaels store will no longer receive business from me. read more

I was very disappointed when some of the staff members could not help me. I asked a lady and she just gave me directions and I got lost. At that point I was very frustrated with the staff. I had been looking for this one thing for soo long until finally a guy showed me the exact spot it was at. I am surprised that they barley had shrinks dinks. I think that hobby lobby is way better and more organized staff with smiles. Overall it's a nice store just the staff is not helpful. read more

I really don't like giving bad reviews but this incident really bothered me to the point where I would rather drive to the one in La Verve, which I have many times since, than to go to this location. I did get there a little before closing and one employee passed by to let us know nicely that they were closing soon so we got what we needed quickly. As we're walking towards the register the cashier is standing in the lane yelling at us to "hurry up, I have to close the register! ". Very rude and disrespectful, I've worked in customer service for years and I would NEVER talk to a customer like that even on my worst days. read more

I LOVE THIS MICHAELS!!!!!!! It's awesome! Huge section for sale items. They have a great selection of flowers. And any holiday prep? They have you COVERED! They are one of the biggest michaels I've been to. Sign up for their rewards program and you'll know when to go & utilize their coupons. Also bring your mom with you - everyday there is a senior discount offered. Seriously? Love this place! read more

Terrible prices, restrictive coupons, terrible customer service. You're better off heading to Hobby Lobby across the street. They have better prices, better coupons, and better customer service. read more

This Michael's is not so great with what they have to offer in store. The staff isn't the friendliest and gave me a hard time about my 40% off coupon. Go to La Verne. They are awesome! read more

Today was the best visit I've ever had. Went in for a calligraphy pen, ended up with a few Halloween items! I was on my own for the most part, but when the sales associate (Christian) asked if I needed something he was quick to answer and already knew what it was that I was talking about, (Im not the best at describing certain stuff) he knew where it was located, and was an all around genuine and extremely personable person. Christian offered me a wonderful customer service experience as well as a wonderful personal experience. I like having real conversations with people, whether they're working or not. I really appreciate that there was an actual connection. He also went above and beyond for my little coffin craft thing which I thought was really awesome. He probably thinks I'm crazy, haha. read more

I don't shop here often, but I had some stuff I had to get for my wedding. I came here around night time to purchase some supplies really quick, I had troubled locating their glitter and a worker proceeded to show me were it was. At the checkout this nice girl named crystal helped me, once she had rang everything up she told me if I had a coupon I said No I don't, she said are you sure? Check the website, I wasn't really catching what she was trying to tell me, so she scanned a barcode she had on the table and my total went from $60 to $33!!! I was like wow thank you so much, that was very very nice and helpful of her. Michaels is pricey BUT they always have coupons, which I didn't know. I really appreciate the help I got from crystal & she made my shopping experience even that much better. Thank you crystal! read more

Compare to most other Michaels this store is more helpful. It is a bit smaller (Not as small as Chino) but they carry a lot more here. read more

This Michaels is great. We were at the Michaels in LaVerne earlier with no help and pure lazy staff. This location is great with customer service. The store is stocked well and the lines for check out is rather quick. Will definitely be back read more

I am a big fan of Michael's. But ever since a Hobby Lobby went in across the street, this one has gone down hill. The employees are miserable and hate their lives. I get its the holidays and people are busy and in a rush but what happen to customer service? I went in today and spent over $100 dollars and went to use my coupon for 40% off, located online. Unfortunately I couldn't use it because all of my merchandise was already on sale. So, to be nice I offered my coupon to the man behind me. He had one regular item, markers for his girlfriend. The cashier, Sara L., said "no" and shook her head at us completely irritated. She then told us that I couldn't let him use the coupon on my phone....with all kinds of attitude. I could understand if it was a high priced item, or we were trying to work the system somehow. But I was just trying to be nice. She seriously scolded me like I was 7. I apologized to the man and then encourage and helped him look up the coupon on his phone. Which irritated Sara L. Even more since he was now holding up the line. And to make matters worse she was visibly irritated with us, breathing loudly, rolling her eyes, and tapping her fingers on the counter. The man, even apologized to her! But it didn't make sense for her to be rude or not allow him to use my phone, since the coupon is online and open to anyone who looks it up. Thank you Sarah L for ringing me up but I'll be taking my business elsewhere to avoid you and your total lack of customer service and basic common courtesy. read more

Well let's see, long story short I had been to 2 different stores looking for a specific yarn. I called in advance to make sure that this Michael's had the yarn I was looking for. I told the employee (over the phone, who hung up on me once and I had to call back) the brand name of the yarn I was looking for (I even spelled it out for the boy/man what ever he was). I was specific in the color, he even repeated it to me. He went to look for it, he said we have it and I can put it on hold if you'd like. I asked him yet again it's the Bernat Baby Blanket in baby lilac 300g. I told him I had been to 2 other stores I want to make sure you have it before I make the 20min drive there, he reassured me he had it on hold for me. I drive up to this Michael's to find out this guy puts the wrong one on hold for me. I told the other associates no worries I'll go grab it myself just show me where abouts the yarn is. There I go, off to the back to look for this damn yarn. Come to find out they don't carry that color. You can imagine how pissed off I was after I called to make sure this damn store had the yarn, beyond annoyed right now peeps! read more

I called to see what Door busters in Christmas decor they had going on today and they told me I could find that out online. Forget that I was on hold already and already speaking to you. This locations has alot more crafty items then most of other Michael's ive gone to and it has more home decor as well. The customer service is okay until I had a question for an associate which I needed help looking for an item for my toddler, the associate thought about it and didn't help me look for it but then as I was looking for the item I then found it myself. read more

I asked the only two employees I could find on the floor for help finding an item and they were just clueless which is understandable because they were both younger looking girls but they didn't even try bothering to direct me to someone who could have actually helped me. read more

I just visited Michael's to have a picture framed. Crystal was extremely helpful very patient, very kind, and gave me lots of great ideas and worked out the pricing before I made the final decision. Thank you Crystal also found a Betsey Johnson on Bralla on sale and went back for another one and the Betsey Johnson's were on sale and Miguel totally try to help me find more and even checked to see if two other nearby stores had them. Thank you Miguel. So nice to have associates who really care about helping. I'll be back read more

I can always count on Michael's to have what I need, but I especially love shopping here during Halloween season. And of course it doesn't hurt to always use their great coupons! read more

I went in on Thursday to get a specific yarn because of the sale going on. That color was out of stock, but one of the girls let me know that they would be getting a shipment in on Friday. I ended up going in today and when I went to the yarn section, it was still out of stock. I asked Daisy if she could help me and I explained what the other girl told me on Thursday. I gave her the code and she looked it up and saw they had some it just was not stocked in the aisle. She went to the back to look through some bins and after 5 minutes, she came back to let me know she was still looking and had one more bin to look through. She never got frustrated with me and was able to find it for me! They were very busy today so I really appreciate that she went out of her way to help me as she could have easily gotten frustrated or told me they didn't have any more. When I finally got to the line she opened up to help the line, too! She made my weekend! Thank you again, Daisy! read more

How does this store stay in business??? The staff will drive you away before you even find any merchandise that you want. There is no sense to how the store is laid out and the staff doesn't know either. JoAnn's is a Nordstrom's compared to this lowest of low stores. Stay away!!!! read more
