Tried to shop there on a few occasions (I'm a big hobby spender, young lady/atypical hobbyist, don't look like it but I know my stuff, deep in it and need singles), and you step in and everyone has just more important things to do than help you. Feels rude and unwelcoming. Drove 30 mins with my partner looking for singles, and their whole case was covered in boxes of other cards so you could see nothing. Possibly some sort of tournament happening in the seating area but the store was open, we had money, we wanted to buy. I attempted to move them so I could see and hopefully buy, and after I moved the last of like 5 cases so I could see (we've been at the store for like 15 mins) what I'd assume is an employee approached me. "You are going to break the glass, so I'LL MOVE THEM FOR YOU." And he finally removes the last box (had no idea that me gently stacking cardboard boxes would potentially damage plexiglass, but whatever, no one helped us for like 15 mins. Like what?). So I peaced without purchasing any of the things I noticed I wanted after I could see their inventory. Super rude and unhelpful, seriously cost you my business. My partner bought a few packs of a set we were having trouble getting, not out of patronage, but feeling like it was a wasted trip if not. We won't be coming back. Awful taste in our mouths, be welcoming if you're a hobby shop, or at least pretend helping us is important to your business. If you're looking for gundam, historical model kits, Warhammer, ttrpg minis or just something cool: this is the place to go! I found a kit that has been sold out online for months- total score!! I decided I really didn't want a drone, because gravity can multiply a failure at that height. Looked at race cars, but didn't like the fact that they travelled fast and room was needed. Decided to get crawlers, which are 4X4's and space wasn't needed. So we started to check places out. Went to a toy store, and nothing they had looked like it would survive any type of off roading. Did a yelp search and found this place. Went there, not knowing what to expect and we were surprised. Place looks like it once was a packages building turned warehouse. Walked in and first thing you see is this super-sized race track with cars going fast. Found the sales counter in the back and waited almost an hour for our turn. Place was extremely busy. Finally it was my turn. Told them what I was looking for and what I wanted to spend. He came back with $500+ model of a new Bronco. Took it out and now I understand why the price. Best way to describe it would be to say it was a full size Bronco shrunk to 1/6 scale. Real differentials, drive shafts, full suspension and so on. Anyway clerk was so helpful with me, a100% rookie. This is the place to go if you want quality items and full service.

I walked into DJ's around 12:30 on a Tuesday to sell some cards. About an hour later, I walked out very happy with the way I was treated. The store was pretty crowded with a constant stream of shoppers. I dealt with Richard, and he reminded me of a high energy mad scientist -bouncing from customer to customer, then to the phone, then consulting with his colleagues, then peering at his laptop, then consulting some pricing magazines, then holding my cards up to a light to check for hidden pinholes or subterranean cracks and wrinkles. When he was ready to make me an offer on a Kobe Bryant, and baseball cards from the 1950s and 1970s, he made me a terrific offer which I accepted. I learned that Richard is a bit of a humanitarian and community service guy, as he donates hundreds of bags of cards to local children for things like graduation and report card excellence. I could not have been happier with my trip to DJs.
