Crompton Collective is one of my favorite places to go so I had expectations that this place was going to be very lovely. There are some notable differences between Crompton and here. This shop is cute and has plenty of decor, knick knacks, jewelry and unique pieces to look at. It's a cozy little shop, instead of a massive floor separated by different vendors. There are also many unique pieces and decor pieces, not much in the way of antiques or furniture of that sort. The shop is small but well decorated. I took multiple laps and still kept spotting items that i had not seen previous times. It is a nice addition to the shops and stores that now fill Main st in Hudson. I personally did not interact with employees that day because it was busy and there were ample customers with questions and gifts to purchase. I'll be sure to visit again, as there were plenty of little items I wanted to buy that day.

Some really quality museum like specimens right down to some items for as little as $2. Plenty of easy free, lot parking right outside the shop. Helpful staff. Sign up for their rewards program for a free tumbled stone and follow them on Insta for another free tumbled stone. Plenty of small tumbled stones for sale and larger display pieces. A few sterling silver rings and a couple pendants but jewelry is not the focus- this is all about the rocks and minerals. Some memorable displays were their aura quartz, carnelian, malachite, calcite. Prices for some items were reasonable. Other pieces I found a bit high priced compared to other stores. Know your rocks. Overall, though, great experience here. I'll be back.

Natalie is a gem of person, so much representing the welcoming and friendly vibe Hudson is known for. There are tucked away antique stores to send you on a fun scavenger hunt. Knotty Pine is another (other than one of the owners with this GORGEOUSLY STUNNING FLOW OF PLATINUM HAIR has one of the most acrid personalities I've come across in a long time. I don't know who kicked her cat, but her unpleasantries are forgiven because she keeps a very clean, interesting, approachable business going!) Hudson gem. While Natalie's is a bit smaller space, it doesn't lack for treasure troves of generous piles of vintage and fun jewelry and a stunning case showcasing unique local native indigenous woman's crafts - hair pins, necklaces, etc. all made locally and blessed with what we call "Wampanoag" (but that isn't their true tribal name) spirit. Come say HI to Natalie, and enjoy! Bring kids - vintage toys for them to choose from (just please keep an eye on them, the place is full of delicate glass and moving around is a bit tight). I called Hudson Framing in advance to ask about a couple prints that I needed to get professionally framed due to their unusual size. I wasn't looking for anything super fancy, and let Lorene know I was looking for budget-friendly options over the phone. I also let her know I had Covid concerns, as I was going to visit in the middle of a surge and I had high risk family members staying with me. She was kind and understanding over the phone, and when I got to the store, she immediately put on a mask and welcomed me in. During my visit, a couple other people entered the store, and Lorene stopped and kindly asked them to wear a mask - and even offered to give them one - saying *she* had her own Covid concerns. I was honestly touched by that gesture. She worked with me on options for the prints, and offered guidance on mats, materials, etc. She looked for good quality frame options at a lower price point, and was able to find something that was ultimately exactly what I wanted and at a lower price than I expected. I went to pick up my prints a couple weeks later, not realizing it was on the same day as the Hudson art festival. I somehow found parking about 3-4 blocks away. When I picked up my rather sizable prints, Lorene asked me where I was parked. I told her, and she offered to help me carry the prints. I insisted I was fine to do it on my own, and she asked how I would carry them. I fumbled tucking them both under my arms, and she took one and started walking out the door, insisting that she help me. Turns out, I needed her assistance, and enjoyed a nice chat with her as we walked to my car. Lorene is just so wonderful. I am getting a third print done to fit my wall, and will absolutely be bringing it - along with future art - to Hudson framing. I really can't say enough wonderful things about this store and Lorene.

Metrowest and Central Mass has SO much to offer (artists, intellectuals, organic farming) and Worcester Wares apparently has a pipeline from allllll of these magical people right into their wee storefront! They're located within the DCU Center (easy to find) and light floods this packed shop....let me list the ways it makes my heart sing: * Screen printed Worcester shirts and totes (both classics and hilarious) (Paris of the 80's & Out of the Night Tees, I love you) * Jewelry and pins of the Massachusetts and Worcester variety (I definitely picked up a Worcester pin) * Worcester Bravehearts wares (baseball?! YES!) * Artsy prints,calendars, and mugs (Mugged In Worcester!! Hank VonHellion!! Sarah Wormann!!) * The shop owner (Jessica) is SO nice! Just the kind of awesomely funky lady to inspire your pride for all things local to the Woo You'll pay a fair price for local gems, but know that you're supporting so many local artists when you do! I went to Worcester Wares to order some custom shirts for my small business. I paid the full price up front (mistake on my part) and patiently waited for the project to progress. I promptly sent in all of the graphics needed to make the various shirts I had ordered. Months into the project I was informed the the owner was dealing with some personal matters, which I was understanding and patient about. She did deliver some of the products I had ordered, and indicated that she was working on the remaining products. Some of the shirts had a defect, which she said she would rectify. The hoodies that I ordered were supposed to feature a large logo on they back, which the ones she delivered did not. After that visit, it was radio silence. I sent several emails and messages inquiring about timeframe for delivering the remaining items, but did not get any response from her, or from anyone at Worcester Wares. I began this process in early December 2025, and paid for my items in full at our initial meeting. It is now May the following year, and I have not hard anything from the owner since February when she dropped off a few of the items I had ordered, despite several emails and phone calls. Unfortunately I would not recommend Worcester Wares to another business. I am now out several hundred dollars and have only a small handful of the shirts that I ordered, some of which were not made as ordered. Very disappointing.
