It was like walking into the G.C. Murphy's store in the town I grew up in western PA in the 1970's. The blend of modern and classic toys is well thought out. I imagine the children of Holliston, MA are lucky to have such a nice place to visit in their own back yard. The owners are very nice people and I enjoyed just chatting as we patronized the well storied store. It's been a stable of the community since 1863. Look for the heart on the floor. It has a beautiful story surrounding it. My wife was drawn in to the store by the easel sign outside the store advertising Pokémon cards. Any grandparents who have preteen and teenage grandchildren know what that is. Even more enjoyable and impressive was the proprietor's knowledge of all things Pokémon! I know nothing about such things myself. As well as the toys there is a really nice selection of candy to select from. Some, that took me back to my youth again as well! We purchased a nice supply of candy and a few educational toys for our 2 year old granddaughter, and some Pokémon cards for our grandsons. They also have a charming display of big time pictures of customers who found valuable Pokémon cards in their packs of cards. As, well as lovely pictures that show how proud of grandparents they are! It's worth a visit again for sure! The real value of this store is the Owners! They are the real Gems !! PRICELESS!

I was immediately interested because of the name of the shop and also because I love checking out gift shops and supporting small businesses. It was towards the end of my lunch break so I didn't have the time to check it out, but went on their website and was very impressed by it so I made it a point to stop by today. The store is tucked away in a plaza with other stores so there is plenty of parking. When I entered the store, I was immediately greeted by the owner, Sharon, who was very kind, helpful, inspirational, and super down to earth. She told me the store was just opened last month so she is still in the process of getting merchandise for it. I would not have known if she didn't tell me as there were plenty of cute items available for purchase throughout the store. She gave me a little tour of the store and showed me the various different items that she had for sale without ever being pushy. She explained that she tries to sell things that are locally made which I absolutely love. We talked quite a bit and I found her journey to be very inspiring. Without having any knowledge or experience of owning and running a business, she took the risks that come along with it to follow her passion and do what it is that she loves. The store itself is very cute. The decor is clean and refreshing. She has various different items for sale including home decor, gifts, jewelry, pet items, candles, etc. Being a vegan, I was very pleased to see that she also had some vegan items for sale such as vegan leather handbags and vegan chapsticks/ lip glosses. I highly recommend this place if you are looking to buy a gift for someone or even to treat yourself. I left there with some candles and home decor. There is absolutely no store like this and truly unique finds. I send all my family and friends here. Not only that, but Sue the owner also does custom arrangements and interior design. I've often come in showing her pictures of a room, and she curates and designs a space on the spot. Sue truly has an incredibly rare talent and eye for design that cannot be imitated. Other stores may try to duplicate her looks, but they don't even come close! Sue is the real deal, and is always ahead of the trends - often setting her own. She has really great pieces, and love to support women owned business. Go check her out, you'll never go anywhere else!!

Thankfully, the Millis location is still in business, but from what it looked like, they might be the next to get out (this would surprise me as Millis doesn't really have any other gift shops similar to this....). All of the card racks are more than half bare, Christmas stuff still out in June? Has anyone heard of such a thing? Now, I do know Christmas stuff comes in early (I've heard of it coming in late August at Sears....), but JUNE! That's a real record! Staff are very generous, kind, and helpful in finding any normal 'Hallmark'-like item. Store is large, vast and very clean. Never busy, and a good selection in the photo albums and frame area, as well as all of the plaques and decoration items they sell. Air conditioning is really pleasant here too (for some reason it's REALLY cold!). Hopefully, it's not how it seems, I want to see this place stay afloat. 4 stars for the Millis Hallmark.

Debra's Flowers just did the arrangements for my mother's funeral. I went over this with Debra and asked her to create something special and unique for my mother and she did this brilliantly. My mother looked like she was taking a nap in a summer garden, complete with both cut flowers and live plants, topiary tree, herbs and unique creations. Debra created an arrangement for each child and each grandchild to take home after the funeral. Each one was special and meaningful. Thank you Debra.
