This was a quick stop to like for something. The visit was nice, got to brouse and see what I needed. The associates were nice. The store was a bit chilly. When getting to the registers I needed assistance so I was able to go to avoid self check out. The associate was helpful and kind. It's not my usual Michael's store bit served its purpose at the spur of the moment. Happy Yelping!

It's ran by kids that don't care for work, if you ask for assistance they give you a weird stare like it's a bother to ask them for help. Hire more mature people that would like to work instead of entitled kids.

Love this Michael's. Yes every Michael's has the same inventory, same sales, but this Michael's you can always find someone to assist you. Besides that also everything is always were it is supposed to be. Very organized store, and always have enough registers open so your not waiting in line for a long time. So nice to have a store we're you get the great customer service with a organized store as well

50% off on many items and 60% off on seasonal merchandise. There's also several items on clearance that you might find useful. The store appeared well stocked and was neatly organized. On another note, Michael's recently installed self-check out kiosk machines in the store. This is much needed and a welcomed sight to shoppers and those pressed for time. With that, introducing anything new comes with a learning curve and these kiosks are no exception. However, fortunate for customers, Michelle (manager), was there to assist. She was friendly very personable and understood the importance of good customer service. She made my first experience with the kiosk a painless and easy transaction.

There's ample parking. Inside is bright and inviting with good music playing a mix variety of alternative rock, pop, classic, and new wave. I love how this bookstore is so clean and nicely organized! Grand opening was on July 4, 2025. The owner Josh is welcoming, helpful, and friendly! He had the place on April 1st, it was demolished and transformed into an inviting and cozy space! They sell marvelous collections of books, art, and knitted crochets. The knitted crochets are all handmade and price varies from $20 to $50. You'll see several artwork by various local artists including Cody Z., Caleb W., Alec D., Wally H., Chasity H., Emmy K., Savannah C., and Parker G., and every piece is so colorful, vibrant, and full of life! The bookstore has an amazing wealth of knowledge. You'll discover new releases and local authors to the left side of the store. There are books from J. Lubbers' Classics, and a shelf is specially dedicated to him because he was the first person to donate to Mad Red Books. They have several non-fiction books including poetry, sci-fi, fantasy, mystery & thrillers, horror, romance, as well as for middle-grade and young adult. You'll find non-fiction books to the right of the bookstore. There's books for sports, personal growth, business, cookbooks, gardening, home repair, travel, religion, entertainment, biographies, history, social science, animals and nature, references, and foreign language. I noticed they have tarot cards too. In the back is a comfy lounge seating and a chess board game, and there's various artworks displayed, all aesthetically pleasing. They sell tote bags ($12.50) and t-shirts ($17.50). The name Mad Red is the actual initials of the owner's family members which is so cool! They offer free events like game night on the second Saturday of the month. Next game night is on December 13, 2025, and there'll be a holiday night party starting at 8pm to 10pm. The bookstore can accommodate up 60 to 80 people. Also, book signing is the last Saturday of every month, except on December, and there's usually three local authors. Service from Josh and Joe is outstanding and exceptional! They are so kind and politely answered several questions I had, and I greatly appreciate it! I have a better understanding on what's offered, and I love it! The bookstore's atmosphere is so cozy and relaxing, and is such an exciting place to explore!

There's a cool seating area in the back too. There are plenty of used books for selections and some that looked newer? Despite the sign saying new books were 15% off I paid full price for my book "the love hypothesis" it was $32 which is really steep in my opinion. I ended up still buying the book bc I wanted to support a local bookstore but when looking online I found it for $8 and $18 dollars. The two workers in the front greeted me upon arrival and were pretty quiet when I checked out. Not much to report in regard to service there. I think just due to the price point I would find it hard to return but I love the community events others have mentioned they host.

I came from hawaii & hawaii people know that the closet thing to a Hobby Lobby is Ben Franklin crafts store. Selection it's a lot and with all different seasons. Really excited for fall and xmas again. Anyways , we came here to buy graduation things for a lei to make and they were all out. It so happens that we came across the store manager Jeff, very patient and very helpful. He went to look up their inventory and kindly told us that he's awaiting a new batch that would come in wednesday which is today and he said to just call first thing in the morning and have the staff out some on hold with Jeff's request. I never called in the morning because i was too busy BUT at 5pm ish i called, they still had some in stock and they kept it for me til closing (8pm). I really appreciate the experience i had with the store manager and the two ladies in front cashier whom was also very helpful and informative with my questions about the return or exchange policy

Almost didn't find it there too, but thank god I kept looking everywhere or else I would've missed it. Since I never go here, I have no idea where anything was and was in a time crunch. When I went to go check out I noticed a male employee went to stand by the door. As an ex retail employee, I know exactly what that means - they think someone is going to steal. The way he was so obviously watching me like a hawk while I was in line was a joke. Maybe it's cause I quickly walked through the entire store as I was in a rush? Idk. One thing I got that caught my eye is a storage box. As a previous retail employee, I know you're supposed to check the inside of the box. The cashier didn't and put it in the bag and he told her to open it up. I looked over at him and smiled and laughed. She took it out of the bag and opened it up to find it empty. Then I looked back at him, laughed again and smiled. What I wanted to do was leave everything there and just leave. I don't even care to this give this business my money as it is, but the employees could be trained A LOT better. My cashier even proceeded to miss an item when ringing things up, and barely caught it after she gave me my total. So worried I was going to steal when the employee almost gave me something for free. Truly laughable. Maybe he should've payed more attention to what she was doing. Don't plan on coming back. Especially when they have tens of employees all over and 2 of the slowest cashiers. Their register system of manually entering the prices and discounts is SO outdated. Get with the times. Overall? Selection was decent. Service? Awful. Value? Overpriced, even with 40% off nearly everything. Can find way better quality at a lower price elsewhere. Employees? Need further training, especially if the man was a manager.

Everyone knows that the Japanese individuals love their gaming platforms and cultures . We can thank the creators and brilliant minds for small businesses that give America a small piece of their world. Thus we have a little bit of Henderson right here from Japan . Most of the store is just browsing along the aisles . They offer so much variety . One thing that captured my attention was the selection of small scale models making kits for sale. Come to find out, Japan produces 80 percent of the world's small scale plastic model sets. It is centered around the city of Shizuoka. The "idea" of model design and making is a cherished art form in this particular city . Many small scale sets and designs are available for an individual to purchase and enjoy.
