"There is no friend as loyal as the book!" Ernest Hemingway Do you feel calm around books? Love to read! This might be your new favorite place. You name the genre and they might have it. Or ask and they can order what which you seek. Love is a cover away. So much knowledge just crack the cover. Finally, a book store that's close enough for our side of town. The store is well organized and managed with great excellence. Get excited you get to add a new book to your collection. The books are separated by categories. They offer lot of new books and used books. The pricing is pretty decent. The staff have great attitudes and seem to enjoy their job. Are you looking for that unique and exciting gift that looks extra creative; then look no further . Come on in just to browse. Crack open the cover on an "actual book" you will become a superhero. Let's get started and start building brain cells and power.

My sister-n-law from San Diego is a BookToker, so we brought her here! MAD RED BOOKS just opened up July 4th and is located in our neighborhood of Silverado Ranch. We were warmly welcomed by the staff at the counter. The collection at this store includes new, used, and rare books. All new books were 15% off. I picked up a used book for $6.00 (retail $16). I also found something new for my 2 year old niece called, "Snuggle Puppy" and she loved it! The bookstore also showcases local artists' work for sale! I love the wooden ornaments hanging around the shelves. At the front counter there are these little panda bees, which I can't stop thinking about, so I shall return once I finish reading my book!

Went with a friend during October and enjoyed checking it out. The staff was nice and the book selection was all organized. They had some mystery books wrapped up that you could take a chance on if you wanted. Lots of good deals! They have plenty of parking since it's in a strip mall parking lot. Definitely would go back!

Clean and quaint. Limited seating for kids and adults. Wide array of genres, well-organized small space. Friendly staff--I was there on a Sunday afternoon. I found a classic from one of my favorite authors at a good price. I hope to stop by again soon and find more treasures!

They sell new and used books. They have a good collection of books. This is next to Nielsens frozen custard. It is quaint, clean and quiet. They have a sofa to sit and read books and I like the book wall backdrop. They are currently accepting donation of used books.

Congrats on your grand opening! Made it ahead of the ribbon cutting and the turnout was amazing. People were lining up and excited to support the latest bookstore opening. It's so encouraging to see the sheer amount of people - at one point, you could hardly move inside as everyone filled the aisles and nooks and crannies. It's a family-run store with art from various family members throughout as well as the logo custom designed by a close friend. Found some goodies and can't wait to see the shelves all decked out - a solid mix of rare books, used, and new.

What a great addition to the neighborhood! This new bookstore has only been open for about a month, but it already feels like a cozy community spot. The sections are clearly labeled, making it easy to browse, and there's a chill lounge area in the back with couches. This area is perfect for flipping through a few pages before you buy. Prices are reasonable. They are accepting book donations. Check it out.

First time at "Red Mad Books". Nice little book store to look for that rare book you've been trying to find. There is also some art work & a couple couches to relax while finding that right book to read. The employees were kind, welcoming & available for any questions. Some of the books had a price listed on them, but when I brought it to the counter, it was cheaper than listed.

An employee calling multiple customers liars

Since someone got my previous yelp review removed... Happened to stop by this book store with my wife before making our way to brew tea. Cute little store, but one of the employees was very rude. First off, one of the workers, I believe his name was Joe, was using foul language with children present. Under no circumstance is that okay, and it appears that he is a repeat offender based off of previous reviews. We didn't happen to purchase anything on our way out and that foul mouthed worked said "okay, bye whatever" as we were walking out the door. It looks like this employee was complained about 4 weeks ago and he's still employed here. I love supporting small businesses, but this one desn't seem like the store cares, so I wouldn't recommend coming here. It's also extremely unprofessional for a business to make light of a review and comment on it by accusing its customers of lieing. See the screenshot. Joe, I recommend you work on your customer service because it is appalling as it is lacking.

I had a bad experience in here in December 2025. I went in here & of course they were having a sale…read moreon a lot of their items. It was hard to tell the prices on some items that I came across that I was interested in so I used the Michael's app to scan for a price. The items that I had found had a great sale price so I put them in my cart. When I went to go to self checkout the prices were not ringing up for the same amount on the app. I didn't see on the app "on-line price only." I didn't have many items. They had 2 cashiers working & a little bit of a line had formed behind me. Not good to be under staffed during a holiday shopping mth. I was able to ask a cashier behind me about this price discrepancy as I explained it was a different price then when I scanned the items on-line. She had told me "those are on-line prices" I told her I thought this was ridiculous, that I'm in the store already so in order to get these prices I need to order them thru the app & come back to pick them up? Can't I have them for the price listed since I'm here already? She told me I could speak to the manager about it but she was busy with a customer who wanted to buy a Christmas tree on the floor since it was the last one. I had come in here after working all night & needed to get home to get to bed. I didn't feel like waiting so I didn't buy these items & set them aside. I did buy a couple of other items that weren't on sale. A few days later I purchased the items I left behind on the app & did a pickup where I parked in a number parking spot & an employee brought it out to my car. I didn't have to wait too long for the lady to bring it out but honestly this is stupid. A customer will still spend money whether they're going to purchase on-line or go into the store. This cute Christmas platter I got had some flaws in it so I had to go back into the store praying that they still had one & one that didn't have any flaws & do an exchange. I got lucky! But it stinks that I couldn't have picked the item out myself while in store & get the cheaper price. Dumb! I feel like Michael's has jacked up their prices too. I'd say the best time to shop here is when the items are on sale.

He's very artistic, so this turned out to be a perfect fit and he genuinely had an amazing time. Choosing what to paint was honestly the hardest part because of the large selection available. There's something for every budget... our pieces were around $20-$25 each, with both more affordable and higher-end options available. In addition to the pottery cost, there is a $9 studio fee per person, which covers all materials, glazing, and firing. We ended up spending close to three hours painting, and the time passed quickly in a relaxed, creative, and very family-friendly environment. The staff during our visit were welcoming, patient, and happy to answer questions or offer guidance, which made the experience comfortable even for beginners. The pickup process was slightly less seamless than the painting session itself. We were initially quoted about a two-week turnaround and needed to follow up when we hadn't received a notification yet. There appeared to be some minor miscommunication regarding readiness and text alerts, but everything was eventually sorted out. Overall, this is a wonderful local activity... especially for families, date nights, or anyone looking for a creative and screen-free experience. I'd absolutely recommend planning ahead for pickup communication, but the painting experience itself made for a memorable birthday celebration and we would happily return.

They were hoping to find a private chef in Las Vegas to cook them an infused dinner. Long story short, Chef Vee responded almost immediately and we got to planning the dinner, with only 8 days advance notice! Not only were she and Natalie the coolest, Chef Vee tailored everything on the menu towards what we were looking for (and some we didn't know we were looking for...). My fiance and I are in love with Peruvian cuisine, especially seafood, and once we learned that was Chef Vee's specialty, we were beyond excited to try her infused take on some classic dishes. She and her assistant arrived on time, were wearing gloves and a mask, and got right to cooking while entertaining us with stories and just hanging out. The food was outstanding; it felt like we were taken right back to Peru, and the infusions put us in a very chill state of mind. They hung out with us after dinner for a bit and once they departed, our kitchen was spotless and our fridge had some leftovers that were gone the next day very, very quickly. Would definitely recommend for their good company alone, but the food was everything we hoped for and it was the unanimous highlight of our weekend. Thank you Chef Vee! 10/5 Stars.
