Unbelievably bad service! Horrendous. I doubt we'll ever be back. We came here to paint like we always do. We have pieces we need to finish. We came here on a Tuesday night to paint at 6:30 the studio closes at 8pm. The working girl Andy refused to let us sit and paint. We were a party of 6 coming in to finish pieces. She said we couldn't sit in paint because there is only one employee who is closing the shop. And there couldn't be 12 people on the studio. The whole shop is wide open with tables. She refused to let us sit and paint. We couldn't believe it. We've never ever made any sort of reservation to paint. Never in the many years that we've been coming. The most outrageous part is she let other people come in after us to paint. Andy said the girl closing wouldn't be able to help us. We said that we didn't need help. We are sitting there painting our own pieces and have been there many times. If the work load of cleaning out paint brushes is too much then you need a reality check. read more

My friend suggested going here for my birthday. We went 8/4. The staff was totally wonderful. Brook one of the creators that works here, she had tons of ideas and lots of helpful suggestions. The staff are very helpful. They have any type of ceramic you could want. I went for my birthday with people ranging from 3 to 50. Everyone had a great time. The price range for the same items at other shops is definitely on the pricy side. The customer service was great and it's a nice location with good restaurants next to it. However for the price and the selection options it didn't live up to different pottery locations i've been to. I still had a fun time but I don't think I would come back :( read more

My little sister found this place out and it was definitely a cute, cozy spot to come with friends, family, or even a date night. We were immediately greeted at the door and Lauren was the best and assisted us throughout the entire process. You get to choose the ceramic and colors you'd like to use. Hi highly recommend throwing a party at this location. It's right at the center of the district next to fish house and it has a huge balcony where you can host a beautiful lunch outside. You have a private room upstairs where you get to paint. I highly recommend having your party paint dinner plates. It is so amazing to see all of the creative designs that are made. Our host, Grace, was absolutely incredible and took care of everything for us and it was well worth the price we paid. I will be throwing many more events at this location! read more

My cousin and I had a blast creating our masterpiece! Made reservations and we have at least have 2 hours to finish our work. It was my first time! Didn't know what design I wanted. So, for about 30-40 mins I was browsing for a design. It was nerve-racking! I highly recommend to prepare yourself before coming in here. I erased my design twice and did not have much time to finish. But hey! I ended up loving my work after all. The only thing that bothered me is.. there's not much variety of options to choose from. So I ended up with a vase not bad at all. I still recommend this place to everyone that are looking for some fun things to do. read more

Color Me Mine was the perfect place to take my sisters for a girls day. We all got to paint the cutest Halloween decor. The pieces were ready within a week and look great. The studio is well organized and has so many pieces to choose from. Overall it was a great experience and we would definitely go back. My only hold up is that the staff was really inattentive. Only 1/6 of us had painted before but they didn't explain how anything worked and kind of just expected us to figure it out. The girls just stood around the register gossiping for the entire two hours we were there which was kind of annoying as we were seated right next to them. read more

First time we visit Color Me Mine. My children and I love this place. I recommend looking at their calendar for special and BoGos specials. Place is always clean and the staff is very friendly and kind. If you have any questions they can help. The perfect time to go is week's day in the afternoon. They do have clearance area but you have to ask for it. We did have a great time painting and enjoying the quietly time together. My kids were concentrating in their work. I visited for a dual celebration God kids party and had a blast! Color Me Mine service & ambiance - As a rookie, they made me comfortable with how the process works: Pick the piece you're going to paint, pick your colors and off to the tables to get your master piece on. All the staff I came across were friendly and full of smiles. Our party was about 30 kids and 15 adults and the staff ensured everyone had a great time. The tables where you paint give you plenty of space with your fellow artists. The studio decor includes finished art pieces for inspiration and unpainted pieces to entice you for a return visit. We hosted my daughter's 11 birthday in the upstairs party room suite & had an amazing time. From pre planning to the event date, the staff helped everything run smoothly. We preselected the party ceramics to stay on budget & they allow you to bring your own catering, cake & drinks etc. 2 tables are set up in the room for food set up & a gift table at 5he door. Our party host Natalie was attentive and easy to work with & explained the process to my daughter & all the cousins ranging from ages 1-15. Well worth the cost for 20 people. Took my two grand daughters today to paint ceramics. We were greeted, and before we were even seated instructions explained to us, and then we were left on our own to paint. We had a good time, but staff might want to check with customers from time-to-time asking if they need any assistance. I dumped out our paint water to refill with fresh, as staff did not instruct us as to what to do with the dirty water, nor came by to change it out for us - I dumped and refilled our bowl in the public bathroom sink, hope that was ok. Most of the staff congregated at the check in/out counter scrolling on the computer, chatting while we painted. I think the studio fees are a rip off. I paid $169 for the 3 of us, $36 being fees. One of the other customers I was talking with told me about another ceramics place that does not charge fees. I'll most likely check that one out next time. But this is a fun activity to do, and it's close to home. read more

Came here for my 50th birthday in July. What was supposed to be a great time with a great friend turned into a nightmare. First, our pieces were broken in the kiln and my girlfriend is told we have a credit to come back and redo them. So we did. Only to have to pay sales tax even though we have a credit. I own a small business, this is not how that works. Today, over a month since we came in initially...we're told our 2nd pieces have been ready for almost 10 days. No phone call. Nothing. We had to call them. They claim they sent an email...that we didn't get. Wouldn't be calling if we did. But more importantly...how unprofessional. If you say you're going to call when our pieces are ready, we're expecting a call. Won't come back to this location for anything ever again. The only good thing about this experience? Spending time with my friend. This place won't ruin that. read more

She explained everything to us and showed me where the paints were located then walked us through the process nicely. There was another gal there but I didn't catch her name; but she was just as friendly and helpful! My 8yr old had a lot of fun! I can see coming back and bringing my husband and son for a family day! I also love that I use to have great experiences with color me mine in Southern California growing up and honestly the experience didn't disappoint today either. Fun for all ages! Such a cool place to have a birthday, bridal shower, make gifts, go on date nights or just paint for the fun of it. You don't have to be an amazing artist to love this place. There are all kinds of ceramic pieces to choose from. Some you can use(decorative boxes, piggy banks, ice cream ups, bowls and such) or pieces just to display(picture frames, plates, little animals). There are so many colors to choose from and the employees will often help if you need it. No matter how well you think you did, the finished product always looks so good! For birthday parties they have a plate with your child's handprint in the middle and names of all the friends who came to the party. Such a nice keepsake! Kids become so focused and quiet, so funny. About a week after painting they will call to let you know when it's ready to be picked up. read more
