However beware my…read moredaughter had her first recital in June and it was TERRIBLE they had strict rules and they bend the rules for other kids. There was even instant where one of the girls didn't show up to a lot of the mandatory rehearsals. Didn't know the dance and still did the recital and ruined it for all the girls that worked so hard. Her performance was terrible and messed up the whole recital. People are still talking about it. We didn't get the video until September. As for price, I would say that they're pretty much competitive with other dance studios as I've been shopping around. However, the recital I. June they make you purchase costumes I spent over $300 for my daughter for just two classes. Other studies rent the costumes they purchase. I should add that the costumes came a size to small and too late because dress rehearsal and pictures were a week or two after that so there was no room for exchange for a bigger size. The owner made barfing sounds at the girls when they were showing them the dance and honestly, that was the first time our kids met her since it was my daughters second time doing a recital there we had no idea she was the owner she's never around. There was a time when my daughter had a private dance and they had to text me last minute to cancel because their AC wasn't working, which I'm glad they text me however they had the girls still dancing that whole week in the heat. It was so sad. The dances teachers and kids were sweating in the studio because it was in the summer and you know how hot it gets here in Vegas in the summer. They do offer makeup classes so if you miss you can make up the class, however that might change since they're changing a lot of policies and they didn't offer that due to the AC being broken. It actually took a while for the AC to work I really think they should have paused classes until the AC was fixed. After the first class with Edgar, Annabel was so excited and eager to continue. Edgar spent time with her explaining 'how' to draw... sounds basic, but as it turns out, isn't. Her dog portrait was pretty good for first try. After the second class with Sarah, Annabel emerged saying, "Nana, I love art class, can I go every day?" Well, she is working on a portrait of her and her Mom now and she can't wait for next week's class. Sarah King has a truly very nurturing, nourishing energy and it is palpable in the studio and the other students. After class Wednesday, Annabel drew a picture of her at softball from her phone. Annabel and Nana are so very grateful for the gift of King Art Studio.

Today I picked up my child and was informed he had been kicked in the head by another child on the playground and a few hours later he was BIT on the arm by another child that still wears pull-ups and looked like he should have been in a toddler classroom. if I post every detailed incident that my child has been through I don't think many parents would feel safe bringing their child here. I'm in a very tight situation because my child missed the cutoff to attend kindergarten and now he will have no choice but to continue moving from daycare to daycare until the new year starts for elementary school. While, naturally, there have been a few changes over time, the overall team remains impressively consistent, there is very little turnover, which is a testament to the positive culture and standards the school upholds. The previous director was good, but the current director, Mrs. Brittany, brings a refreshing level of warmth and approachability that creates a welcoming and nurturing environment. I also want to acknowledge the assistant director, Mrs. Doris, her leadership, attentiveness, and communication with parents are truly exceptional and an asset to the school. One of the things I respect most is that when a staff member doesn't align with the school's values or becomes problematic, the leadership seems to address it appropriately. That level of accountability provides me with peace of mind, knowing my child is in caring and capable hands. In terms of academics and care, I've been very happy with what Creative Kids offers. The education is developmentally appropriate, for both social and cognitive growth. I also deeply appreciate the school's diverse environment. It is balanced, inclusive, and reflects a real-world setting where children can thrive in mutual respect. While I don't wish to center the conversation around race, I do believe that early exposure to diversity is essential, and Creative Kids naturally cultivates that kind of environment. My only minor grievances would be the occasional issues with the water bottle situation (they should be readily available at all times) and sometimes the snack or food choices (in terms of nutritional value). However, these concerns are small in comparison to the overall quality and care the school provides. What has been especially meaningful is the sense of community I've found here. Over the years, I've connected with a wonderful group of parents (mothers and fathers) whose children have grown up alongside mine since their toddler years. We've created our own village, often coming together to celebrate birthdays, holidays, and other milestones outside of school. The friendships our children have formed feel more like extended family bonds, and that has made our experience at Creative Kids even more special. As my daughter prepares to enter kindergarten, I look back on our time here with immense gratitude. I wouldn't hesitate to send her back during the summer if it made sense for our schedule. The theatre is in an old strip mall and runs the width of the business that was in this location. There's a small "lobby" which is an area curtained off from the theatre and an area where the actors change. You can pay for your tickets there and you can buy drinks and snacks at intermission. The theatre has three rows of chairs and seats about 30 people. There are two bathrooms at the end of the theatre. Two small minuses about the experience. 1) After the show started, someone in the lobby was scooping what sounded like ice into a container and it detracted from the show; 2) the seats do become hard after awhile. Any theatre that offers to rent seat cushion for $5 for the show needs to have some better chairs. My suggestion to anyone attending would be to bring a stadium cushion or something like that.

The actors had mini highlighted script notes towards the end of the play which made sense because they were old men but that didn't take away from actually connecting with their character throughout the scenes. Me and a friend arrived just in time with these sweet ladies out front to collect $15 from each of us before entering. With 15 minutes of intermission, there were donation baskets for pop and candies provided with signs suggesting the snacks and drinks were $1. Towards the end they had a raffle but my friend and I didn't stick around too long for it.
