We'd visited a couple of schools before in the last few months, and by far this was this was the right choice for him. Upon arrival, Master Young is very clear on the goals they teach and expect for children. What I really love and appreciate is the communication from him and Mrs. Michelle Young. We thought perhaps 4 years old was too young for Karate. But I have observed how patient and sweet they are with all the little ones during class session. While he's only been there for about a month, he is super excited about learning, and attending class 3 times a week. This routine has proven very good for him as well and he enjoys it tremendously. Glad to have our son be a part of an outstanding school that implements discipline, focus and respect, while providing fun physical activity for young ones. If you are considering enrolling your child in any Martial Arts, CD Young is highly recommended

My Son has been going here for 4 years now & we absolutely love it. They give the kids an…read moreopportunity to learn how to work with different weapons in a safe way. They have activities at the park, they celebrate each & every holiday. They do Halloween sparring tournaments & allow the kids to wear their favorite costumes, they shut down their parking lot & create a truck or treat, with hunted dojo suitable for every age group. (None scary, little scary & a lot scary). They do Easter egg hunt, meet Santa etc. They do ninja night, with food, drinks, fun activities & movies for the kids. They offer summer camp. I would definitely recommend this place. My son has learned great skills on how to walk away from a situation instead of throwing the first punch & how to speak up, yell for help & to defend himself. They work hard to reach out kids self defense & also have fun.

I fell in love and enrolled him before leaving, he starts soon. Cidney Moran, enrollment specialist, was amazing in assisting, educating, and being a good role model for the company! Her energy was priceless, the space was clean, and the kids looked happy, & the curriculum was exactly what I was looking for! I would highly recommend anyone looking for a place for their kids (they take infants & up) to check them out!!!!

Childcare Nightmare…read more I'm going to keep this as straightforward as possible. I removed my child from this so-called daycare before he could even finish his prepaid week. If you want the full experience, please read on--this may save another parent time, money, and potentially their child's well-being. Over the four weeks my 5-year-old son attended this childcare/summer camp, I observed a clear disconnect between the front desk staff--who were kind and professional--and what actually happens in the back rooms. Unfortunately, it seems they hire unqualified, undertrained staff with no teaching credentials, and in many cases, little concern for the children. During the first week, I made two simple requests: do not refill my son's water bottle with sink water (as he won't drink it), and please keep me updated on his day. Neither request was followed. His water was not replaced with what I provided, and I received no updates. In the second week, my son was scratched across his face by another child. No incident report was filed. I only found out through his cousin who also attends the facility. By the third week, my son was kicked in his private area by an older child who should never have been grouped with 5-year-olds. Again, no report, no call. When I asked about it, I was told they were "still investigating." There was still no update going into the fourth week. On pickup during week four, I found my son visibly upset. He told me he wasn't allowed to use his tablet because he answered a math question incorrectly. Instead, he had to sit and watch other children use theirs. These are staff members with no teaching credentials, yet they are using punitive and inappropriate methods for learning. As a nurse, I understand that children learn differently--this approach is not only ineffective, it's discouraging. For $170 a week, my child had a miserable experience that resulted in emotional distress and even required doctor visits. No parent should have to deal with this. Please do your research before enrolling your child here.

Our son is 14 and has been struggling with fitting into the box of standard schooling for the last few years and he had started to become down and frustrated with everything. He is an artist and that started reflecting in his drawings as well. After the visit he was still unsure but we knew this was the right school for him. After the first 2 weeks we started noticing changes at home. He became happier and this reflected not only in his demeanor but also in his artwork. When we got his school pictures back HE WAS SMILING!! He hasn't smiled in a school picture for at least 3 years. Watching him become more comfortable with himself and who he is since we started has been an amazing experience. Thank you to all of you that he comes into contact with on a daily basis. Thank you for letting him know you care about him and who he is, that you care about how he is learning and progressing and that you are there for him and for us. We have found a community within this school and we are very grateful to each of you!!

I sent my daughter to Montessori Vision Academy in Las Vegas, where she was enrolled in preschool…read more One day, she came home and told me, "The teacher said, 'I'm done with you,' and then she told me that teacher said "You need to finish this task -- look, your daddy is waiting outside and crying because you're not finishing it.'" Remember, my child is not even four years old. After this incident, she began arranging her toys and yelling at them, saying things like "Stop! Stop!" This behavior was very unusual for her and raised concerns. I reached out to other parents, and some of them said their children had made similar remarks about the same teacher. I requested a meeting with the preschool director and the teacher. During the meeting, the teacher denied everything, saying my daughter is one of the best students and she would never do such a thing. I calmly repeated the same words the director had used in our first meeting: "We need to trust children -- they are not manipulative." That very day, I withdrew my daughter from the school. To all parents reading this: trust your instincts and your kids.
