My girls still remember the foam parties, bounce houses, Trunk or Treat, Santa visits, and all the different taste-testing activities. There was always something special going on, and they made so many happy memories there. We always felt like our kids were safe, cared for, learning, and having fun. They entered kindergarten a step ahead and had an easy transition into elementary school. We are so thankful for our time at Coronado Prep and would definitely recommend it to other families.

They have become a second family. Mrs Jen and all the teachers have gone above and beyond my wildest dreams of a first school for my child. Mrs Corie has been incredible and from day one my daughter gravitated towards her. We have had Mrs Summer and Mrs Maria for two years now and they couldn't be better. They have been much more than teachers to us. We have gone thru some difficult times and their exact words to me I'll never forget were "we are your family now ".. This isn't just my daughter's school, this is a part of her young life that has helped mold her into a confident, bright and happy child. It's a school full of warmth and so much love. They have great hours that works with our schedule and pricing comparable to other daycares we looked at. But here, the kids get great meals all day, which was a huge plus for us. We've had teachers Aniah, Kat, Ale, Chelsea, Isabel, and miciyah, and they are each wonderful. Even the teachers who don't have my son know his name. The playgrounds are great, and the facility is safe. I love that they offer the live camera access. They have learning plans each week and we appreciate that. The school is always clean. The teachers, administrators, and school culture are extremely kind, professional, and knowledgable of the Montessori way. When my daughter was struggling, there was an entire team ready and available to create an academic support plan to meet her where she needed to be met. It worked! Thanks to the schools diligence, communication, and teamwork, she was able to show immense improvement in very little time. Ms. Dana, Ms. Rosie, Ms. Adrian, and Ms. Marion ... Childcare Nightmare…read more I'm going to keep this as straightforward as possible. I removed my child from this so-called daycare before he could even finish his prepaid week. If you want the full experience, please read on--this may save another parent time, money, and potentially their child's well-being. Over the four weeks my 5-year-old son attended this childcare/summer camp, I observed a clear disconnect between the front desk staff--who were kind and professional--and what actually happens in the back rooms. Unfortunately, it seems they hire unqualified, undertrained staff with no teaching credentials, and in many cases, little concern for the children. During the first week, I made two simple requests: do not refill my son's water bottle with sink water (as he won't drink it), and please keep me updated on his day. Neither request was followed. His water was not replaced with what I provided, and I received no updates. In the second week, my son was scratched across his face by another child. No incident report was filed. I only found out through his cousin who also attends the facility. By the third week, my son was kicked in his private area by an older child who should never have been grouped with 5-year-olds. Again, no report, no call. When I asked about it, I was told they were "still investigating." There was still no update going into the fourth week. On pickup during week four, I found my son visibly upset. He told me he wasn't allowed to use his tablet because he answered a math question incorrectly. Instead, he had to sit and watch other children use theirs. These are staff members with no teaching credentials, yet they are using punitive and inappropriate methods for learning. As a nurse, I understand that children learn differently--this approach is not only ineffective, it's discouraging. For $170 a week, my child had a miserable experience that resulted in emotional distress and even required doctor visits. No parent should have to deal with this. Please do your research before enrolling your child here.

My daughter is in second grade and has a wonderful caring teacher who challenges her and makes learning fun! This school pays attention to detail yet keeping it a very personally experience. VERY VERY unwelcoming as I asked her a question. The second lady that came out the back door as I stood at the desk was unwelcoming as well. I couldn't fully finish my questions as I felt nervous to even stay in their building so I left instantly. I can only imagine how my child would feel or be treated at that school if I even thought about enrolling them. If you can't treat your guest with manners then you won't get business. What a bad first time customer experience.
