We have been with Sapience for 7 months now and I can not express the immense gratitude I have for these teachers. When we arrived last year my child was struggling to keep up with her grades. We've been coming here 2 days a week and her grades have skyrocketed, she is comfortable asking question and knowing she's gonna get the help she needs. I also love getting detailed reports of the progress after a class and knowing what needs to addressed, this is definitely a team effort. THANK YOU! read more

We highly recommends Sapience Tutoring for any subject. The teachers are very helpful, courteous and professionals they have been great especially for my daughter!Giving her that extra help has made her more confident in her class .Mike the owner he is a caring and helpful selecting the learning plan for my daughter, her grades are better , we see that it is improving. Thank you for helping my daughter to do better at school read more

Although we use the services offered by Sapience mainly as a day Care/ day camp facility, my kids love meeting there. I never have to worry about crying at drop offs, and I never hear any complaints. My kids describe their days being scheduled with blocks of time for reading, mathematics, game playing, writing, group interaction with other kids, etc. It can get a bit pricey for us, but it's worth putting your kids in a day Care/camp situation where they not only enjoy it, but we also know they are safe in good hands. The staff is great as well. Thank you! read more

DO NOT RECOMMEND My daughter started after school tutoring with Sapience hosted by her school. When I saw that they were offering additional homework help, I thought it was a great offer. However, my opinion of their program quickly dwindled. She has had multiple tutors throughout the program, she was being taught multiplication while she was still trying to master adding double digits, and started to come home with blank homework packets as well. When I asked the tutors about her progress they said she was doing great and everything was good as they seemed to be rushing to go home. No communication on what they were working on at all. When I asked my daughter why her homework was not being done she replied that she was told she needed to work on tutoring packets. There has been no communication from the program or the tutors on her progress or what she is working on. The only information was from my second grader. My daughter is now falling farther behind. Her test scores prove it. When I called to discuss my concerns about the program and cancel her sessions, the man on the phone was very dismissive of everything I had to say. He told me those things weren't happening but that he wasn't in the classroom to verify. He was even starting to blame the students for the reason they were not working on their homework packets. I requested a refund for the current week that she would not be attending. The man said they only provide refunds when they were not able to provide the service. However, they are NOT providing the service that I have paid for, nor will she be attending for those days. The man that runs this place is very rude and should have no business discussing concerns with parents. He would take no criticism of the program or even offer to look into what was happening. It seemed like he was taking personal offense to my reasonable concerns. Do not go here! read more

in 2020 when COVID hit and the schools decided to do distance learning, my then incoming kinder daughter and I were stumped. I still had to work and needed a place for her to go for her zoom sessions. Sapience was there for her! they helped with her zoom class and homework assignments as well as additional assignments to help enhance her learning. The next year I brought my son into the program and both children flourished with their grades. They attended several winter and summer camps years thereafter! read more

My son is attending summer camp here and he is finishing his first week here. So far he says he is enjoying it. The check in and out process is easy and the location is easy to arrive too. Everyone has been nice so far! read more

I would not recommend this place and my reason is because of the yt girl that was there seemed a bit racist.I came there to enquirer about the coding program which the guy who runs it was really nice and was good at explaining the program to me .But... they just so happen to be giving away backpacks at the time and I asked for two for my girls and the yt girl refused to give me two and proceeded to say it was only one per family but since I had been there I had seen the other worker ask people how many was in their family then gave them as many backpacks as they needed when I brought this to her attention then she gave me two smh I guess if your a person of color then that only applies I guess . I wouldn't recommend this place cause how I know my child is going to be treated fair because of their skin color read more

Honestly, such a cool learning center for kids. They offer a lot of after-school care and tutoring, homework help, educational classes and learning categories (Coding, AI, Robotics, plus tutoring in many subjects). Lots of free promotions + regular community outreach. Prime location (next to Target!), professionally-run facility, and racially diverse as far as the owners, the teachers and the students. Def recommended. PS- Looking forward to the next kids' intro to boxing class that Sapience will offer, the last one was a hit!! read more

The owner's response to my review is a lie. I have MULTIPLE emails between myself and the company, including the owner Michael Soto, attempting to get our refund. Emails started on June 9th between various employees of Sapience spanning until my last email to Michael on Aug 9th. After getting nowhere, I disputed the charge through my credit card company. There was so much support - in the form of email, over 25 responses back and forth and I sent screenshots of their online policy for additional support - that I was issued a refund directly by my credit card company. I even told Michael I was going to deal with the issue directly (see screenshot image). He then responded by trying to compare my refund request to SafeKey's policy, which clearly outlines their policy on their website. Sapience does not, so why he tried to compare theirs to another company's makes no sense! After I went through the credit card company, I stopped responding to Michael's nonsense. I stand by my original review, and his response to my review MONTHS later further validates my point. This company is shady! Do not give them your money! read more

Negative stars if I could!!! , children deserves exceptional tutoring service! Don't commit to any to any special programs or services before the actual service start because I prepaid for a winter service and they refused to give my money back and the price was pretty expensive. I had an emergency and it was unforeseen for me and my family. My child did not get the service and that I paid for obviously. Poor customer service! Spend your money with a better tutoring service. Don't waste your time or find out for yourself how unprofessional and deceptive this business is! read more

First, let me point out the help I received by the professional figures that assist my son's reading comprehension skills. Not only did the owner help me select the perfect study skill workshops that best fit his academic needs. But also delivered the learning experience in a more individual way. I absolutely love this place my daughter has been going for about 2 months and she has learned a lot. the fact that they have a curriculum from start to finish it pretty awesome, all kids get 1 on 1 learning. Sapience Learning Center has no clear training, expectations, policies, or support for employees. There is no safety for the well-being of employees and clients. Employee background checks are NOT conducted which is a NEED especially when working with Children/ CCSD Students. This Employer continues to ignore the needs of employees by refusing to give breaks, having constant understaffing, requiring employees to work overtime, or threatening them, along with falsifying payroll. On top of all of that Vishal, the owner is comfortable berating employees to the point of crying, including but not limited to making condescending remarks, threatening employment for saying one is overworked (when full-time is a six-day-a-week schedule), and insulting employees to manipulate them into submission. The narcissistic tendencies are a threat to any employee's mental health, and all of these issues combined are why there is such a high turnover. read more

First off let me start by saying if you're looking to further your child's math skills or get them in an extra curricular activity, than this establishment is for you. My child came to this program in late September and I sat down with the owner and talked about which program would be right for him. I wanted one on one tutoring, but the owner also pushed for the Abacus program, which In all honesty seems like their main goal here. We ended up signing up for a math advancement class and the abacus program. For the first month my child has been working on packets with no correction or help of the staff. So I sat down with the owner again to go over a different program that would work for my child. (By the way this sit down was done in the entrance of the building where they do all their business. This spot is also where parents are picking up their kids. Not private or professional at all)The owner then again pushed abacus program along with the math advancement program, AGAIN. I asked if he would be getting the tutoring he needed and the owner assured me he would. Well here we are two months into this program. My child has ZERO improvement with math and again he's been working on packets as tutoring with no help of any adults in this facility. So I decided to cancel and went in and unfortunately the owner was not there so his wife called him on the phone and handed it to me. He asked me why I was canceling. I told exactly what I wrote above. This man really was arguing over the phone with me trying to convince me that what I was telling him was wrong. I decided to tell him to have a good day and to cancel any further classes. This man was sarcastic and rude in his response. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AS A TUTORING PROGRAM. I am also a small business owner who works my butt off for what I earn, so I would never write a bad review, but I feel this place is taking advantage of parents who are looking into tutoring programs. Good luck if you were looking into this program for tutoring. I wouldn't recommend! read more

Had a terrible experience trying to get information about this place. Phone calls lead to poor communication and there is too much misinformation. One employee tells you one thing and their website tells you another. It is difficult to use and has no real purpose when their employees tell you something different. Stay away. All the free things they're offering are an obvious trap to lure you in. read more

DO NOT TRUST THIS PLACE. First of all, this place clearly has fake reviews (there's a review that says they've been bringing their children for 3 years but its only been open for 1year) and bought instagram followers. I would absolutely not reccomend this place if you love your children. I had my daughter in and they essentially "took her away" without letting me know who was taking her, where she was going, or who the teacher even was. I spent majority of my time feeling uncomfortable by the owner who refused to speak to me (I had never been in prior). I also understand that the tutors here are not very good, and lot's of children don't seem to get along well. read more
