My kids have been here for 4 years. Some teachers are amazing, and some are only very good. There is a surprising amount of diversity here, also. Jewish and non-jewish, white, asian, african-american. It's nice to see. The kids are a bit over-indulged at home, but the uniforms and "no-electronics" rule help to overcome that. Also, this is a drug-free campus. Starting in middle school, each child has to sign something permitting random drug tests. I am a big civil rights person, but I like the idea of not worrying about my kids for just a few hours each day. Sometimes I worry about the expense, and what I could do with that money instead. I've heard people say that the public school education isn't that bad... This isn't the place I want to take chances.

4 of my kids have been going to Adelson educational campus for the past 6 years. This year I'm sending my 5th child. I couldn't ask for a better school for them. I have 2 kids in upper school, 2 kids in middle and now my little one will go to Kindergarten there. I'm impressed with their education level and their curriculum. I would recommend this school to everyone. It's not just a school it's your family.

The School uniforms are comfortable and pretty basic. Conducive for a non-distracting learning environment.

This is our only school experience as parents, so keep in mind that we have nothing to compare it to. That being said, I wouldn't even think about sending my child anywhere else! The staff is truly like one big family welcoming you with open arms. It is clear that everyone there has your childs' best interest in mind. -The campus is guard gated, giving you piece of mind about your child's safety. -There is structure and routine in the classes, creating a level of comfort and familiarity for the children. This then translates to the home making our own morning or bed-time routine easier for him to want to follow. -Each day is filled with a combination of different ways to learn the same thing. For example; First a book will be read. Then a song pertaining to that story will be sung, usually with a dance move or two. Then art projects coinciding with the book are done using different tactile skills. I wish I could have had an opportunity to learn this way when I grew up. It is fun to watch my son come home and teach me! -I thoroughly look forward to my emails from his teachers that tell me all about their daily agenda. This way while he's at home, I can ask him the appropriate questions to reinforce what he's been taught at school. -I love that they provide lunch for the kids without any option of bringing lunches from home. This eliminates the chance for them to be jealous of what another kid is eating. Also, there is no exchanging of money. -We took advantage of the after school programming and signed him up for Happy Feet. He gets so excited about having Soccer practice after school on Mondays! -I enjoy that he is being surrounded by Jewish culture, so he can grow up feeling like a proud and confident member of the Jewish community. -The location of the school is absolutely perfect for us, being in Summerlin, it takes exactly 2 and a half minutes to drive there. -Even though school starts at 8am, drop-off starts at 7:40, giving you a 20 minute window to get there. You can either pull up and they will take your child out of the car and walk him to class, or you can park and walk him in yourself. SOOO convenient! As you can see, I literally have no complaints. They have thought of absolutely everything to make our lives as parents easier and the childs' lives more enjoyable, while ultimately striving for the best in educational excellence. A job well done Adelson.

We started with Merryhill fall last year and my grandson has absolutely blossomed! My wife and I were really worried she might react the same way here -- but guess what, she's doing so much better at Merryhill! This school truly has empathy and warmth. Ms Gram and Ms Niemand are not just teachers -- they give real mothership. They make my daughter feel secure, trusting, and cared for. My daughter is a highly sensitive child (HSP) -- she feels anxious with too many strangers or changes around her, so it takes time for her to adapt. From day one, both teachers have been incredibly patient and loving. They treat every child equally, with the same care and responsibility. One day my daughter told me about a new boy who cried nonstop during his first week. Every time we came to pick her up, we'd see him closely attached to the teachers -- it was clear he felt safe with them. He literally follows Ms Gram wherever she goes, which says everything about how nurturing they are. Other things I love about this school: parents get monthly reports for their kids, there are regular teacher-parent meetings, and they offer a great variety of lunch options and events for kids to learn and explore. We're so grateful to have found a school that truly understands children and provides such a loving environment.

The ratio of teachers to students is wonderful. When he needs help a teacher is available to guide him. But what really makes this school special is the people. I can say without a doubt, that my wife and I believe Mountain View is the best private elementary school there is. It has that small town, small school feel, with advanced academics. (She's in 8th grade now.) Class sizes are small and it is very much a community in that school. All the teachers know all the children and the children all know one another, regardless of grade. The religious foundation that my daughter received at Mountain View has helped to shape the person she is today, and I'm grateful for that. We love the ladies in the front office and my daughter was always crazy about Mr. Schneider, the principal. He takes the time to get to know each child. Every Monday he would ask Jenna if she had played softball over the weekend and how she did. In fact, he even surprised her when he showed up at one of her softball games. To say that it made her day is an understatement. While I don't think the education she received at Mountain View is better or worse than what she would have received anywhere else, the foundation she did receive shaped who she is. She is in a charter school today and is a National Junior Honor Society member, so clearly Mountain View did something right. I am glad my daughter attended Mountain View. Many of the teachers (current and former), teachers' aides and other staff still stay in touch via social media to see how Jenna is doing. Can't ask for better.

In the beginning I thought it was my daughter's problem -- she just didn't want to leave me. But after talking with the headmaster, I suddenly realized: it wasn't my daughter's issue -- it was their teaching philosophy. 1. They believed my daughter couldn't control her emotions, and they expected her to -- but she's only three, her brain isn't developed for that yet. Expecting a three-year-old to "control her emotions" is like expecting a one-year-old to control her bladder -- it's a physiological development issue. And the headmaster should know that. 2. My daughter didn't know any English when we first enrolled her. Within four months she could understand all the teacher's instructions and even speak short sentences. Yet the headmaster still said she wasn't speaking "long sentences." As an early-childhood educator, she failed to recognize this progress in a child entering a completely foreign environment. 3.Once she cried so badly that the headmaster came over to comfort her, but my daughter refused to talk to the headmaster and threw herself into the arms of her teacher. The headmaster concluded that my daughter lacked the normal ability to communicate. But my daughter had only met the headmaster twice -- she was basically a stranger to her -- so when she was sobbing, she rejected the stranger and ran to the teacher she knew. To me, that is a completely normal reaction -- yet in the headmaster's eyes, it meant my daughter "couldn't communicate properly." 4.The headmaster claimed my daughter would cry loudly, scream, and stomp her feet in class. But from a very young age she never behaved that way; even in the first two months at Challenger she only cried quietly out of fear -- never screamed or stomped. Only after being moved to a different class and failing to adapt to the new teacher's methods did she show those intense reactions. She was using her own way to cry out for help -- yet the headmaster and teachers didn't see it. At home she also became moody and unreasonable. Because of what the headmaster said, we decided to withdraw her. We enrolled her in a new school, and I was worried she might not adapt -- new environment, new teachers, new friends. But after only a few scattered days of crying, she quickly grew to love school! In talks with her new teacher, I, as a parent, deeply felt the teacher's love for children, her understanding and acceptance. She treated my daughter like a child -- a real child. That's why my daughter was able to feel safe and confident so fast. Now she's been at the new school for three months, and every day she's very happy -- her English communication is no problem at all. This has only strengthened my conviction: my daughter was never the problem -- it was Challenger's teaching philosophy.

Opportunities for children two and under felt limited, and while we participated in classes at local recreation centers and libraries, it quickly became clear that he needed a more structured and developmentally appropriate program. The facility consistently maintains a high standard of cleanliness, including sanitizing between classes, which provides great peace of mind in preventing the spread of germs. I also appreciate how thoughtfully the programs are designed to accommodate different age groups, ensuring that younger children can learn and play safely without being overwhelmed by older participants. When it came time for my son to transition into a drop-off program, I naturally felt anxious. However, the management team provided reassurance and support throughout the process. Thanks to their care and professionalism, my son adjusted smoothly and confidently. The staff at this location are truly outstanding.
