I am SOOO incredibly thankful for Mathease!! My son has a learning disability due to anti seizure meds. This past year he fell extremely behind in math. He was angry, frustrated, hated math, and didn't like his teacher. I knew this was all due to the fact that he wasn't grasping the concepts. In May of this year I enrolled him at Mathease. At first my son was frustrated and didn't enjoy going, but I made him stick it out. I AM SO GLAD I DID!! Here we are now 3 months later and school has started. Our daughter has been struggling in math since kindergarten and is now in 2nd grade. Every morning it was a fight to go to school because she "hated learning" and school was "too hard". We've been coming to Ms. Gordon for tutoring for the past 2 months to try to get her some help before school started and she has already moved from Kindergarten math to 2nd grade math. Not impressed. Location was dirty, disorganized, understaffed and unprofessional. My child went in for an assessment and was given 5th grade math despite indicating difficulty in algebra. We were able to observe how sessions were handled and were not impressed. Everybody could hear another child being yelled at over a computer call because they didn't understand. My daughter has been getting geometry and chemistry tutoring for six weeks now, five-six times a week. She likes all her tutors very much and her grades have improved greatly. I discovered this place while I was looking for math tutoring in Henderson. I came here at the end of second quarter and had an F in my Algebra 1 class. After 3 weeks of tutoring I took my semester exam and passed the class with a C. I can now fully understand and grasp mathematic concepts and it is all thanks to Mathease tutoring. I have brought my older daughter to mathease even when a teacher gave up on her and said she needed an IEP... after mathease tutoring for 3 months she was caught up and has never had issues with math again. I love to sit in the lobby and listen to them ask a question and get an answer catered for them to understand. Mathease tutoring has been a life saver. Last year in honors Algebra my 8th grader was lost and had an F. In the end he ended up with a semester grade of a B in both semesters. This year when Honors Geometry got difficult to understand we utilized the 1:1 tutoring again. I didn't let it get as bad this year and my kiddo has a high B. My son had a 45% in Algebra for his first semester. He had a hard time grasping the concepts and working well with the pacing of the class. We were discouraged to find out he would have to re-take that term in summer school. My son had horrible grades in algebra 2. I thought for sure he would have to do it over in summer school. Thought tutoring might give him a chance to pass in summer school. It was the end of the 3rd quarter with a failing grade. The tutors figured out the missing element in his schooling and wow. A+ in the 4th quarter. With the extra weighting, he might be able to swing a B for the year. And with the better grades, his confidence is higher as well. A good program filled with good tutors. A few tips though...make sure you keep track of when you pay and when you go. Patricia messed up many times with us saying we need to pay and we had already paid. Also, as far as tutors go, do not get Patricia as a tutor. She runs a great business, but is a poor tutor. She runs the place so she is distracted and doesn't give you the full attention you are paying for. She is also is very rough on her math skills. Jessica and Chang were my favorite. Overall, pretty pricey, but your or your child's grades will improve for sure. I would recommend this place. read more

I am very pleased with math progress my daughters are making at Mathease. Our private school switched to Common Core program last year and my girls were lost. Mathease keeps them on track by combining old fashioned math with word problems and a little bit of the "Standards". I have looked into other math tutoring programs and find that Mathease wins in so many ways - one on one tutoring, program tailored to the child's individual needs and help with homework, if needed. I can't say enough good things about Mathease. We now have both our students enrolled and both are in honors and magnet schools. This started with our oldest in honors Geometry and failing the class. We tried getting help from the teacher and she was zero help. She actually recommended online courses. We had two choices, move our honors student to another class or get serious help immediately. Mathease was recommended highly and wow were they right !! They went into overdrive helping our child who was really upset as we had never had a tutor before. We found that many honors kids were going there and our child saw several classmates which helped her feel right at ease. Her grades started improving very quickly and within about 3 weeks she went from lost to B's. She kept up the work and pulled that F up to a B average for the semester! Our other daughter saw all the improvements and wanted in as well. She crushed her mid term with a perfect 100% and an overall A! Yes we are now biased but that doesn't mean we are wrong.
