Came here for a birthday party for my kids friend and they had a good time. Kids love painting. Well I mean who doesn't? When we got there we got to choose from a variety of pre made ceramic items like plates, bowls, platters, figurines and other things. Then the kids sat down with their new treasures and got to choose the color of paints that they wanted to paint their ceramic items. Then the lady explained how to prep the ceramic and how to paint it. I enjoyed the time she spent with each child. It never felt rushed and everyone had enough time to finish. The shop is nice and clean. It's a little small I think but it's not an issue if it's not crowded. I like they way everything was displayed and the samples of paints before and after they are fired. I definitely want to check that place out again and get my paint on. read more

This place was suggested to our girl scout troop as a fun outing and it sure delivered! The girls LOVED this event and it was very wallet friendly. We called ahead and got a deal for our non-profit group. The girls were each given a tile to paint. The hostess showed us all of the materials that the girls had access to-- stamps, brushes, paint choices, sponges, etc. The shelves and walls are well organized and everything is labeled. She did a great job explaining to the girls different techniques and assisted with clean up. There was no charge for paint time, which I thought was really cool considering all of the other similar paint places that I have been to charge a studio fee. The only thing you pay for here is your choice of pottery, and even then I thought the prices were very fair in comparison. They do offer assistance with your artwork; the hostess asked if we wanted them to outline your paintings or write quotes or phrases on it free of charge. Store hours are limited so make sure you check their hours on their website before you head on over there. Once you paint your pottery it takes about a week for your item to be ready for pick up. I got my tile and I thought it turned out really well with that shiny glaze-- way better than I originally felt about it when I was painting it. We came here to paint one afternoon and it was pretty much the best pottery experience you can have. What I really appreciated were all the different options of things to paint. There really was something for everyone. Also appreciated: Everything was VERY organized. Not to the point where you felt like you were messing things up, but it was easy to find the paints, easy to see what they would look like glazed, many brushes to use and many stencils. The owner was helpful, and SO nice. She didn't hover but gave us tips and offered her help if/when we needed it. I also appreciated the fast turnaround time. This place is a little pearl on Sunset. The personality of the bathroom decor is humorous, and the atmosphere in the studio is relaxing and family friendly, assuming your kids are well behaved. Lisa helped us and she was soooo patient and kind. She helped with blending colors and making good choices for my own personal touch on my piece. This is a great way to escape your everyday problems. Or just a fun way to relax. I always have a great time painting pottery, nothing makes me more calm, relaxed and focused then pushing all my creative juices out on a nice plate or coffee mug. This is the first time I've been to this location, and although I was skeptical because of the limited amount of hours they are open (Sunday & Saturday 12PM-6PM) I was pleasantly surprised! The staff and who I can only assume was the owner were very kind and helpful! I liked that there was no one here when I got there because the thing I like most about painting pottery is I'm able to clear my mind and relax in peace! It did pick up as the afternoon went on but mostly just people like me who wanted to relax and paint their worries away! The prices are decent, they don't have a studio fee which is nice. I can't believe I forgot to review this place! I went in last November to make a Christmas present for my parents. They wanted a new address sign for their house, but I couldn't find anything that would go with their house (and anything that came close was out of my budget). So, in true Kyla style, I decided I could do it myself. I walked in with a very specific idea and knew what I wanted. I just needed someone to point me in the right direction. It took a little bit of time for an employee to notice me and get me on my way, but once I was, it was great! It took me five hours to complete my 4 tiles, but I was never bothered. A week or so later, I went back to pick up my finished, fired tiles. They came out awesome! A tip: you can stop painting before you're finished and come back another day to complete your piece. This place is definitely kid-friendly. I think the average time you'll have to wait to pick up your piece is maybe a week(?), but it will be longer during November/December. read more

What a fun place! Upon walking into the studio, you see all the pieces lined up on the right and you immediately want to just pick each one up for a closer look, but you can't and you shouldn't because the oils from your fingers does something to the unpainted pottery. I took my goddaughter and friend's daughter here. Both are around 5 years old, so I was a little worried it might be too advanced for them, but the lady who was working (I can't remember her name but maybe it was Gail?) was so friendly and helpful, I really didn't have to do anything but supervise. The two girls picked out their pieces, then the lady went over everything with them and helped them pick their paint and get them set to start painting. Once they were done, she helped them with some of the small details like eyes and painting their names on their pieces. We had a ton of fun and the girls did a great job at painting. The only downside is that you have to leave your pieces there and pick them up at a later date, but that's okay. it just prolongs the gratification for the girls of having created something. Each piece was about $16, and they don't charge any studio fees. They provide everything you need so we only spent about $32 total. It was definitely worth it. read more

A Guy's Review Of "All Fired Up" Pottery Shop: I went into All Fired Up wanting to do a small project for my girlfriend to commemorate my marriage proposal to her. Flowers and plans are great, but I wanted to do something creative, slightly different, and lasting to remember the day I proposed. All Fired Up has probably close to 100+ projects you can paint and possibly do. Gail is one of the owners of the shop and is a tremendous help. Initially, admittedly, there was quite a bit of "hand-holding" involved as far as small ideas, techniques, and the layout of what I wanted to do. I decided to do an 8" tile and Gail was an awesome help as far as what to be careful of doing and also encouraging ideas and thoughts, along with suggesting small things to enhance your project. The shop has several stencils, brushes, fine point paints, and figurines, and that's not even close to mentioning the other "devices" to use. I went in, found some clip art on the computer to use, and drew out my ideas. The paint is slightly deceptive as before its fired in the kiln, the colors don't truly pop off of your project. However, after the firing process, the colors are bright, bold, and vibrant. My finished product was so cool and added a really neat small touch to my marriage proposal which frankly, my girlfriend (now fiancée) loved. She honestly loved that I would choose to take the time and effort to go do a project like this just for her. Gail was such a huge help and so easy to work with, as well as patient. I have been going to All Fired up for a year now and I love the environment. The owners of the store are fantastic and they helped me learn so many different techniques with the pottery. They have a huge selection to choose from and children are always welcome. I have been to many pottery stores before in Las Vegas and in California and this one is my favorite because the owners of the store are fantastic, the people that paint at the store are friendly and there are no hourly fees for painting. You are more than welcome to come in and paint for hours if you'd like for no additional cost other than the cost of the pottery itself. Painted some pottery with my fiancé at the town square location, and the lady was so nice and it was a great experience. I googled the number for the gallery at town square and got the number, which apparently was for this location. I called politely, just trying to find out if our pottery was done (we had called earlier in the week to the correct location, and were told one of the pieces had to be re-fired. No issue. We were told they would call us back the next day. Still no call, okay I get it, things happen. Just calling to check status) So I called up this location, and the most dreadful, short, rude, angry woman named GAIL (or gale, idk) answered the phone. The woman snapped at me and barked about how they don't call, they just give us a date. I apologized and informed her about what had transpired previously and that we were supposed to receive a call, and she incredulously asked if I "even knew where I was calling." "This is all fired up." I asked her, "right, you guys are a pottery painting studio, right?" And once more, she barked "yeah, there's like 5 locations in the city," so I politely asked if she was from the one at town square, to which she gave a disgusted and pissy "no!" I said sorry, and awkwardly thanked her for the information, and she snapped back "yeah, good luck with that," in another bitchy tone and hung up. I like this pottery franchise, and I've never had a bad experience at any of the locations I've been to, but after this experience, I can be sure to permanently steer clear of this studio. 0/10, can't rate low enough read more

Our son had a tile done at school with this company but when he brought it home, I went over his work and asked him to tell me about it. He had drawn a scene but as he was telling me what it was supposed to be, he said that someone with the company had altered his artwork by adding their own drawing to our son's drawing. I called the company and they wanted to give him a free second tile. But what's the point of creating something when in essence, they will arbitrarily add a couple of strokes here and there thinking that a six-year old would not notice? In essence, they ruined our son's original artwork and therefore, we do not recommend this company.
