What a FUN & clean workshop at Downtown Summerlin (by the lawns). I came here with my girlfriend, for glow in the dark pumpkin painting. Not only did we enjoyed ourselves, but both of us already talked about returning for a different class! The staffs were very friendly & approachable. I was pleasantly surprised that they also had a food menu (atop a full bar). And of course I had to try a snack during my first visit. I ordered the charcuterie tray, and it was so yummy & fresh. The only constructive criticism is that the bathroom doesn't lock. I had to walk to the public restroom, upstairs, which was an inconvenience.
So much fun! What a great concept and fun experience. This little gem is located in the Summerlin mall. I highly recommend making a reservation due to the limited capacity. & do not forget to WEAR A MASK. A friend had brought us here to DIY our own signs as a gift for our new homes. You are able to choose the size and different shapes and styles you'd like your sign. There's so many options It could be overwhelming. You then sand, stain, and paint/decorate your board. We had a reservation from 3 pm - 6 pm which was just the right amount of time. The hardest part... choosing a font!!! Other than that, Paula was the best! She helped us through every step and gave us the best service. Such a fun activity to bring kids, friend, partner, and more. I highly recommend!!
I do not have a single crafty bone in my body, but I am happy to try. CnC has a great selection of crafts on display for you to don on site with their provided instructions, tools, supplies, and guidance. I have been in a couple of times with mixed experiences but overall find it to be a great idea for a group outing. I was planning in another event with friends for a Girls Night Out before the COVID closures and do plan to reschedule. Most recently, I went in during one of their half-off promos (see tip at bottom) and was the only customer for most of my visit, which allowed me to get individualized help. I picked one of the demo projects and all went well up until it was time to use a stencil. They did not have the stencil available to go with the craft, and unfortunately the one they threw together for me didn't work well. Unfortunately their stencil machine was down so making another was not an option. I was offered the option to freehand it, which is not something I do well, and I had difficulty with the stencil I did use and was not thrilled with the results. I did enjoy the process though, and I like that the sign is now hanging in our home. The amount of assistance you get while working is somewhat dependent on which staff are present. Everyone has been friendly and helpful but if you are not inherently crafty and need more support, it may be better to go as a group with other crafty friends for help. Another project I did here turned out amazingly well when I went as a group, which seems to be their forte- they also have a food and drink menu available, as well as a private room for larger groups. TIP: Get on their email list to get info on their special events, discounts, promos, etc.
What a way for family and friends or just yourself to let the creative vibes flow! Paint, string, glitter, yarn, puff balls! Anything you can imagine and craft is here. While you wait for paint to dry, enjoy some sips and savor a snack off their menu.
What a great experience! Big shout out to Paula for taking care of us. She was sweet, patient, and so helpful in answering all of our questions. You can tell she enjoys her job and is excited to create a memorable experience for everyone. I had booked a reservation for my Mom and I for a Resin pouring special, and they were able to accomodate my Dad last minute. I think he might've been the most excited of all of us! I love that they offer charcuterie, in additions to other snacks, and of course adult beverages. It easy to get caught up here for a few hours! Highly recommend for a date night, girl's night, or just about any time for an excuse to get creative! Can't wait to come back!
Celebrated my daughters 7th birthday here. It was an experience to remember. Not only was it fun for the adults the kids had such a great time. The staff was so nice and made sure to take care of everyone. We rented the whole studio. The front half was the crafting area and the back half had the food. The bar/ drink area was always up and running for the guests to order for themselves. We prebought tokens (for alcoholic beverages), pre ordered pizzas, had a donut wall, and the goodie bags were all taken care of. Before the party, I was always in contact with Desiree, the party coordinator. She was nice and made great recommendations for the party size. All my guests had such a great time. The adults even got to craft on a whim! They were so prepared. Overall wonderful experience!! Such a neat place to wine and unwind.
I love this place because it's not like your typical paint on a canvas class. They offer a lot of different arts and craft projects worth decorating your house with. Corks N Crafts is located in Downtown Summerlin next to the ice rink. Because we are still social distancing for COVID, there were no more than 4 people per table, it's about 8 ft wide. So if you're worried about social distancing, we were pretty spread apart, and wearing mask. My sisters and I recently attended a geode resin canvas class. Our instructor was very knowledgeable, helpful and explained the process very well. She spent time with each individual to help pick their colors and always checked up on us to see how we were doing. Because we never worked with resin, I wished I would have researched prior on YouTube what to expect. I would definitely do the class again.
Awesome Girls Night Out & Girlfriends Birthday! Christina & Rachel were amazingly awesome hosts. Easy reservation setup through Opentable. Walked in and immediately greeted and shown our already set up table. We were given proper instructions on different types of projects. Ordered tropical sangria which is with fresh fruit. Projects: 2 longboards 1 unicorn mermaid Both C & R were very attentive and helpful with us and made the atmosphere so relaxed and fun. The studio itself is super organized, very spacious and very clean. Awesome experience will definitely come back for classes.
Even during COVID, this place does such a great job. We were spaced out enough where you don't feel panicky about being around people. They have hand sanitizer at each table and require masks throughout your class time. They do serve food and drinks, so you can take your mask off while eating. My group attended a Resin Pouring class. It was nice to see so many other people enjoying themselves (class of 15ish?) in a safe manner. They even offer kids classes!
I actually feel really bad for writing this review however I think others should be aware if they plan on attending their "Brunch & Mimosas" Sunday class. I plaid $108.25 for my cousin & I to attend the class. The information online said Clay Wall art, bottomless mimosas & brunch. We came expecting basic brunch foods. Nothing too fancy. When we arrived the lady teaching the class wasn't there & the 2 girls working really didn't have clear instructions. They were waiting for the lady who is in charge of teaching the class but she wasn't there. They started by serving us our mimosas & "brunch." The brunch was 1 plate to share between my cousin & I of one bowl of yogurt with granola, one croissant, gummy bears & three rice crispy treats. The ladies working did not know how to do the project (not their fault because they weren't in charge of the class). So we just asked for a refund. I felt really bad asking for a refund but the experience we had was not what is advertised online especially the brunch. The ladies working were really nice & super understanding. I felt bad however it just did not meet our expectations. I was really disappointed because I had been to wood board making class a few months prior & had such a great experience. Just thought I'd share my experience. I did email them in regards to my refund. Hopefully they get back to me soon. I have attached a photo of the "brunch"
My review is solely based on our experience with the candle class. I called ahead and got a group of my girlfriends to sign up to do a candle class on a week night. The process online is simple and easy. Just pick the day of the week and it coordinates with what class is hosted that evening. It came with a glass of wine or a nonalcoholic beverage. It also came with a very small, mediocre charcuterie box. I am a vegetarian so I didn't eat most of it. I ate the cheese, probably Gouda or American. I remember it came with some tasty, yet hot little peppers, mustard, and some pita chip crackers. Honestly the time frame wasn't long enough for the class and the whole group felt rushed upon their closing time. All the bowls for the candles were different sizes therefore the wax dried at different rates. The stickers that they use to make the wicks adhere to the bottom of the bowl were faulty. One of my wicks didn't stick so therefore I can't even light my candle. I keep it in my guest bathroom for decoration. The process to melt the wax was an absolute nightmare. The machines were faulty and they all melted at different temperatures and rates. I was told that it was the perfect temperature so I poured my candle. I was the first one to pour and my candle never even dried before we left, whereas other people poured at different times and their candles were completely dried. The scents were nothing great to choose from. Since my candle didn't dry appropriately I felt rushed, frustrated, and my candle looked half-assed when adding the little flowers and shells. I felt like we were bothering the attendant running the class since we were there to almost closing time. My SIL and I came to pick up our candles later. I don't think I would give this place another chance at one of their other classes because how everyones candles turned out.
This was a great experience. The staff took all safety precautions while still being very helpful. I'm not very artistic, but Dawn (I think) was very nice and helped me out quite a bit, while still helping everyone else. Thanks again!
We had so much fun here! Corks n Crafts is like a giant craft room with every craft supply you could imagine. They have classes where you can make different types of crafts-- everything from painting to string art to macrame to resin. We signed up for a calligraphy class on a Sunday morning and we had a blast! It was a little bit on the expensive side at $65/person but we got to keep all the craft supplies at the end which was very cool. They also have a mini bar stocked with wine, beer, champagne, and a few select mixed drinks. They also have a menu with some snacks like a charcuterie board and hummus. Drinks were also a little bit expensive at about $13/drink but made the experience even more fun! This place is absolutely ideal for fun girls night group events like birthdays or other special occasions!
My friend wanted to do the resin project for her birthday so of course I said yes! I've never played with resin before. There wasn't a lot of people here the night we went so we had lots of table space. Our table was set up with our boards, gloves, sand paper & rags. Racheal was our instructor and she was AWESOME! Paula was working that night too & helping out. She got us our drinks & food and she was also great too! We had enough time to look over the menu & place our orders. I was exited to see that they just didn't serve beer & wine but had Truly's & a cocktail menu. I didn't see this on their website. I tired the glitter bomb even though they were out of cotton Candy & replaced it with something else which worked out. Later on I ended up ordering the pepperoni pizza which looked amazing & tasted amazing too! Was just right! Rachel explained the process prior to us starting. We were able to see other designs that were on the wall. You pick out a stain if you want to have some of the board stained which will show because you don't cover it up with your colors/glitter. Beware resin won't come out of your clothes or your hair. So bring something to put your hair up & be careful what you wear. You do get an apron to use but it doesn't cover up your clothes completely. I even brought some of my own glitter because I want sure if they had pink glitter but they have lots of colors to choose from. We had plenty of time to work on our project but once you stir your resin to get the bubbles you have 20 minutes to work with it. My friend brought her mother too & her birthday was a couple days after my friend's. Rachel was fun & had everyone sing happy birthday to them. :-) You need to leave your final project there for 24hrs so it can dry. My friend was suppose to pick mine up & give it to me next time I see her. I really liked the end product & can't wait to see it & use it for something. It's safe to serve food on it. I'd definitely come back for a future art project! This place so reminded me of school and art class. 5/5 stars! Thanks for the fun night Rachel & Paula! P.S. just a suggestion...you should have an air freshener & poop spray for the bathroom. read more

Booked a Friday evening 630-830 Acrylic pour class. Booking via the website was an ease. If you check in on Yelp you get 10% off your beverages/food/ any purchase inside the studio. As I entered i was not greeted, so just walked over to art table and grabbed a seat. Waited about 30-45 minutes (there were other patrons waiting as well) was unsure who worked there as everyone had an art apron on. Eventually someone appeared at the front desk, walked over to check in and order food and drinks. They have libations (beer, wine, cocktails), water and mocktails. The food menu was limited (chips with various dips salsa, guacamole, aioli, Bavarian pretzel with dip, and other small snacks). Tried the chips with salsa and guacamole as well as the Bavarian pretzel (two nice sized pretzels). Our drinks came out first. We had to have them remade as they included edible glitter which wasn't listed on the drink ingredients we initially ordered. The chips, dip and pretzel were plenty to share between 2-3 people easily. The art class instructions didn't begin until about 745P. Not exactly sure what was going on regarding starting so late. But. Nonetheless, During the down time there are ice breaker cards on each table. Once the class started it was over by 845P. Overall a great experience but efficiency and time management is lacking. read more

If you are feeling crafty or need a new skill, this is the place to go!!! My best friend has been wanting to take their Resin Board class for awhile now, and tonight was the night when our stars (schedule) aligned! We were so happy we purchased our tickets because it was definitely worth it :) I believe we bought it 3 weeks in advanced. We took the class with other parties, but we had our own table which was nice. You could order alcoholic/non-alcoholic beverages, appetizers, and some dishes like pizza! Shout to Rachel and Hannah for being the best instructors (and for hyping us up when we felt like we weren't doing a great job LOL)!! I will definitely be back for more crafty activities! read more

This place was great! Looking back on the visit I had there with my daughter makes me wish they were able to stay open during the pandemic. We didn't feel rushed at all and enjoyed the entire experience. Hope to be back soon! read more

My daughter and 3 friends went to slime camp today and I would NOT recommend it. The cost was $65 per child and was supposed to include 4 slimes. They ran out of time and made only 3. The 3 they made were such small amounts you can't really do anything with it. Lunch was pizza - each kid got 2 pieces. She said it tasted good but the pieces were so small and she was hungry. The lunch it is not nearly enough unless your child is preschool age; they should consider the ages of children attending the camp and plan lunch accordingly. Here are pictures of slime made. The yellow was 2 combined so she could actually do something with it. Save your money and take your child to an actual slime place. I'm editing this in response to the businesses reply - 2 of our girls asked for more pizza and they were told no because there was not enough for everyone. It's a shame if they threw it away when kids asked for another slice. I'd still recommend another place for slime making. The camp was fun but I'd definitely not recommend them for the slime camp if you want actual slime. read more

We had such a wonderful time doing our date night tonight! We especially enjoyed Cherish our craft expert! She had a bubbly, sweet demeanor and she was super helpful in showing us how to do our craft! Corks n craft had a great assortment of crafts for both myself and my husband! The environment was clean and welcoming. Not to mention great drinks! We truly had a great experience and will be coming back again! What a fun date! read more

I worked with Corks N Crafts to create a virtual team event since we cannot be together in person during these times. Really recommend this for your team event as they have a variety of event options. Excited to try another one some time! read more

My gf and I had a great time here last night! We've wanted to come check it out after walking past while in Downtown Summerlin. We looked online and although this particular class wasn't our favorite, we had the night free and decided to join. It was relaxing and there was plenty of time to complete our project (esp with trying to fix little mistakes I made ;)). The class was really small, which was nice. The instruction was super helpful, and we were offered lots of support and guidance. They have a great selection of beer and wine. We didn't order food, but probably would next time. I saw some other projects on the walls that I would be totally interested to come back to for a class. And some just gave me inspiration to do on my own projects at home. I did think it was a little pricey for the particular project we made but overall the experience made it worth it. And I just noticed there's a 20% off w check in that I would definitely use next time. Such a fun place to have close by with a lot to offer to the community. read more

This was our second time here. Today we attended a Santa and craft event and our daughter (4.5) had an amazing time. She made multiple craft items, had fresh made cookies and cocoa and the Big Guy showed up and she lost her mind. The team at Corks N Crafts are patient and kind and so helpful. They are also really talented and have great ideas. It's a great night out for adults also. We went with fiends and had a lot of fun. Great drink selection and really good snack food. They also have power tools and the projects are real. A fun way to spend a few hours. read more

I took my 12 year old daughter and her friend in there to do something crafty. They picked something out. They needed to cut fabric and use a glue gun for the activity. The scissors were almost impossible to use for an adult. I asked if they had different scissors, they brought out 1 pair and it had a ribbon wrapped around bc it was the "good" pair of scissors that everyone in the studio uses. My daughter went to go use the glue gun. It wouldn't get hot. Then we got another one and it was very gross and hard to use. One lady was at the end of her shift and was not very helpful. The lady who was coming onto her shift was very helpful. Personally, I just thought it was overpriced for what we got from it. I could have gone to Michaels and got the stuff for a lot cheaper and my kids could have YouTubed how to make what they did. read more

So is there a wine menu? Bar? Or is it BYOB?
We have a beer, wine, and mock tail menu available.
Can we just walk in or do we need an appointment for a class?
You can just walk in. They have a wall called the drop-in wall and it starts at $20 and goes up. Great gift ideas and relaxing even for someone not artistically inclined.
Hello! So I haven't done this paint and sip before but I want to plan a girls night. Is this a good place for something like that?
I went to a drop-in event with my sister-in-law and best friend and we had a blast. We met another group of ladies there having a night out and we all really enjoyed ourselves.
Hi- can you bring your own wine and or food?
Thanks for asking. We do not currently allow outside food or beverages however we have an amazing selection of craft beer, wine, champagnes, and non alcoholic beverages. We also have various food options prepared onsite, pizzas, charcuterie plates,…
