Glow in the dark pumpkin painting
    Jen H.

What a FUN & clean workshop at Downtown Summerlin (by the lawns). I came here with my girlfriend, for glow in the dark pumpkin painting. Not only did we enjoyed ourselves, but both of us already talked about returning for a different class! The staffs were very friendly & approachable. I was pleasantly surprised that they also had a food menu (atop a full bar). And of course I had to try a snack during my first visit. I ordered the charcuterie tray, and it was so yummy & fresh. The only constructive criticism is that the bathroom doesn't lock. I had to walk to the public restroom, upstairs, which was an inconvenience.

So much fun! What a great concept and fun experience. This little gem is located in the Summerlin mall. I highly recommend making a reservation due to the limited capacity. & do not forget to WEAR A MASK. A friend had brought us here to DIY our own signs as a gift for our new homes. You are able to choose the size and different shapes and styles you'd like your sign. There's so many options It could be overwhelming. You then sand, stain, and paint/decorate your board. We had a reservation from 3 pm - 6 pm which was just the right amount of time. The hardest part... choosing a font!!! Other than that, Paula was the best! She helped us through every step and gave us the best service. Such a fun activity to bring kids, friend, partner, and more. I highly recommend!!

I do not have a single crafty bone in my body, but I am happy to try. CnC has a great selection of crafts on display for you to don on site with their provided instructions, tools, supplies, and guidance. I have been in a couple of times with mixed experiences but overall find it to be a great idea for a group outing. I was planning in another event with friends for a Girls Night Out before the COVID closures and do plan to reschedule. Most recently, I went in during one of their half-off promos (see tip at bottom) and was the only customer for most of my visit, which allowed me to get individualized help. I picked one of the demo projects and all went well up until it was time to use a stencil. They did not have the stencil available to go with the craft, and unfortunately the one they threw together for me didn't work well. Unfortunately their stencil machine was down so making another was not an option. I was offered the option to freehand it, which is not something I do well, and I had difficulty with the stencil I did use and was not thrilled with the results. I did enjoy the process though, and I like that the sign is now hanging in our home. The amount of assistance you get while working is somewhat dependent on which staff are present. Everyone has been friendly and helpful but if you are not inherently crafty and need more support, it may be better to go as a group with other crafty friends for help. Another project I did here turned out amazingly well when I went as a group, which seems to be their forte- they also have a food and drink menu available, as well as a private room for larger groups. TIP: Get on their email list to get info on their special events, discounts, promos, etc.

What a way for family and friends or just yourself to let the creative vibes flow! Paint, string, glitter, yarn, puff balls! Anything you can imagine and craft is here. While you wait for paint to dry, enjoy some sips and savor a snack off their menu.

    Finished! Resin pouring.

What a great experience! Big shout out to Paula for taking care of us. She was sweet, patient, and so helpful in answering all of our questions. You can tell she enjoys her job and is excited to create a memorable experience for everyone. I had booked a reservation for my Mom and I for a Resin pouring special, and they were able to accomodate my Dad last minute. I think he might've been the most excited of all of us! I love that they offer charcuterie, in additions to other snacks, and of course adult beverages. It easy to get caught up here for a few hours! Highly recommend for a date night, girl's night, or just about any time for an excuse to get creative! Can't wait to come back!

Celebrated my daughters 7th birthday here. It was an experience to remember. Not only was it fun for the adults the kids had such a great time. The staff was so nice and made sure to take care of everyone. We rented the whole studio. The front half was the crafting area and the back half had the food. The bar/ drink area was always up and running for the guests to order for themselves. We prebought tokens (for alcoholic beverages), pre ordered pizzas, had a donut wall, and the goodie bags were all taken care of. Before the party, I was always in contact with Desiree, the party coordinator. She was nice and made great recommendations for the party size. All my guests had such a great time. The adults even got to craft on a whim! They were so prepared. Overall wonderful experience!! Such a neat place to wine and unwind.

Laying crushed glass during geode resin canvas class.

I love this place because it's not like your typical paint on a canvas class. They offer a lot of different arts and craft projects worth decorating your house with. Corks N Crafts is located in Downtown Summerlin next to the ice rink. Because we are still social distancing for COVID, there were no more than 4 people per table, it's about 8 ft wide. So if you're worried about social distancing, we were pretty spread apart, and wearing mask. My sisters and I recently attended a geode resin canvas class. Our instructor was very knowledgeable, helpful and explained the process very well. She spent time with each individual to help pick their colors and always checked up on us to see how we were doing. Because we never worked with resin, I wished I would have researched prior on YouTube what to expect. I would definitely do the class again.

Awesome Girls Night Out & Girlfriends Birthday! Christina & Rachel were amazingly awesome hosts. Easy reservation setup through Opentable. Walked in and immediately greeted and shown our already set up table. We were given proper instructions on different types of projects. Ordered tropical sangria which is with fresh fruit. Projects: 2 longboards 1 unicorn mermaid Both C & R were very attentive and helpful with us and made the atmosphere so relaxed and fun. The studio itself is super organized, very spacious and very clean. Awesome experience will definitely come back for classes.

Got a girls group together to make candles.
    Justine M.

My review is solely based on our experience with the candle class. I called ahead and got a group of my girlfriends to sign up to do a candle class on a week night. The process online is simple and easy. Just pick the day of the week and it coordinates with what class is hosted that evening. It came with a glass of wine or a nonalcoholic beverage. It also came with a very small, mediocre charcuterie box. I am a vegetarian so I didn't eat most of it. I ate the cheese, probably Gouda or American. I remember it came with some tasty, yet hot little peppers, mustard, and some pita chip crackers. Honestly the time frame wasn't long enough for the class and the whole group felt rushed upon their closing time. All the bowls for the candles were different sizes therefore the wax dried at different rates. The stickers that they use to make the wicks adhere to the bottom of the bowl were faulty. One of my wicks didn't stick so therefore I can't even light my candle. I keep it in my guest bathroom for decoration. The process to melt the wax was an absolute nightmare. The machines were faulty and they all melted at different temperatures and rates. I was told that it was the perfect temperature so I poured my candle. I was the first one to pour and my candle never even dried before we left, whereas other people poured at different times and their candles were completely dried. The scents were nothing great to choose from. Since my candle didn't dry appropriately I felt rushed, frustrated, and my candle looked half-assed when adding the little flowers and shells. I felt like we were bothering the attendant running the class since we were there to almost closing time. My SIL and I came to pick up our candles later. I don't think I would give this place another chance at one of their other classes because how everyones candles turned out.

Resin Pouring class! (Took masks off for the photo ;))
    Abegail C.

Even during COVID, this place does such a great job. We were spaced out enough where you don't feel panicky about being around people. They have hand sanitizer at each table and require masks throughout your class time. They do serve food and drinks, so you can take your mask off while eating. My group attended a Resin Pouring class. It was nice to see so many other people enjoying themselves (class of 15ish?) in a safe manner. They even offer kids classes!

This is their "brunch" for 2 people to share for their Sunday class. Yogurt with granola, one croissant, gummy bears & rice crispy treats.
    Michelle G.

I actually feel really bad for writing this review however I think others should be aware if they plan on attending their "Brunch & Mimosas" Sunday class. I plaid $108.25 for my cousin & I to attend the class. The information online said Clay Wall art, bottomless mimosas & brunch. We came expecting basic brunch foods. Nothing too fancy. When we arrived the lady teaching the class wasn't there & the 2 girls working really didn't have clear instructions. They were waiting for the lady who is in charge of teaching the class but she wasn't there. They started by serving us our mimosas & "brunch." The brunch was 1 plate to share between my cousin & I of one bowl of yogurt with granola, one croissant, gummy bears & three rice crispy treats. The ladies working did not know how to do the project (not their fault because they weren't in charge of the class). So we just asked for a refund. I felt really bad asking for a refund but the experience we had was not what is advertised online especially the brunch. The ladies working were really nice & super understanding. I felt bad however it just did not meet our expectations. I was really disappointed because I had been to wood board making class a few months prior & had such a great experience. Just thought I'd share my experience. I did email them in regards to my refund. Hopefully they get back to me soon. I have attached a photo of the "brunch"

    Calligraphy class!

We had so much fun here! Corks n Crafts is like a giant craft room with every craft supply you could imagine. They have classes where you can make different types of crafts-- everything from painting to string art to macrame to resin. We signed up for a calligraphy class on a Sunday morning and we had a blast! It was a little bit on the expensive side at $65/person but we got to keep all the craft supplies at the end which was very cool. They also have a mini bar stocked with wine, beer, champagne, and a few select mixed drinks. They also have a menu with some snacks like a charcuterie board and hummus. Drinks were also a little bit expensive at about $13/drink but made the experience even more fun! This place is absolutely ideal for fun girls night group events like birthdays or other special occasions!

This was a great experience. The staff took all safety precautions while still being very helpful. I'm not very artistic, but Dawn (I think) was very nice and helped me out quite a bit, while still helping everyone else. Thanks again!

So is there a wine menu? Bar? Or is it BYOB?

We have a beer, wine, and mock tail menu available.

Can we just walk in or do we need an appointment for a class?

You can just walk in. They have a wall called the drop-in wall and it starts at $20 and goes up. Great gift ideas and relaxing even for someone not artistically inclined.

Hello! So I haven't done this paint and sip before but I want to plan a girls night. Is this a good place for something like that?

I went to a drop-in event with my sister-in-law and best friend and we had a blast. We met another group of ladies there having a night out and we all really enjoyed ourselves.

Thanks for asking. We do not currently allow outside food or beverages however we have an amazing selection of craft beer, wine, champagnes, and non alcoholic beverages. We also have various food options prepared onsite, pizzas, charcuterie plates,… Read more

But over the last year, I have discovered I like the taste of whiskey! Call it age....call it a more advanced palate....whatever you call it....mama likes! I never want to do things without educating myself, so what is a lady to do? Go to a class of course! Seriously....if I could have taken these classes in college....I would have been class Valedictorian! First of all JD was so accommodating, we had a change in our schedule and he came in on an unscheduled night so we could have the class before leaving early the next morning. The Whiskey Attic is located about a 10 minute drive off the strip in a quiet more industrial area. I like to point these things out because I like to know what to expect when driving to unknown areas. We took an Uber and it was easy to get a car to and from the location. JD greeted us at the door and right away we picked up on his brilliance about everything from sports, history and Whiskey of course! Because we were the only two there for this course it was a nice date night but honestly this would have been fun to do as a party, business ice breaker, or just something different. We did the introduction course, and not only did we learn about whiskey but wines, beers, anything you could want to know. And because The Whiskey Attic isn't trying to sell you product, you get to learn about all varieties, countries, and regions without being pushed to a particular brand. JD walked us through how to taste whiskey and how to drink it! After our class, JD asked us a series of questions and chose a selection of 6 brands he though we would like (the place is beautifully full of whiskey and JD knows where every bottle is) and we commenced tasting his selections! He nailed my tastes down to a tee and I enjoyed every one of the sample! We definitely want to go to the more advanced class next time we are in Las Vegas. I feel much more confident about ordering whiskey when I am out and about knowing what I like because of this class! Loved meeting JD and am looking forward to our next visit!

I was at the front desk filling out waivers on my phone in one hand and holding my 1-year-old daughter in the other. While I understand safety is important, this was his first visit and he was simply excited and once he saw the bouncy floors he automatically assumed it was like a trampoline park. Keep in mind we had to stay put for shoe fittings and harness's for my three boys while having my hands full. The issue wasn't being informed--it was how it was handled. The same staff member then told my mother, "this is not a daycare where you can just drop your kids off," which was completely unnecessary and inappropriate. At the time, I had briefly stepped out to my car to change my baby, and my children ages (7, 10, 15) were being supervised by their grandmother and aunt. Because of this interaction, I felt so uncomfortable that I stayed in my car for the remainder of the visit. We paid $75 for an experience we didn't even get to fully enjoy. *Review delayed* This review was delayed as we attempted to…read morereason with kidsquest and allow them time to complete their internal investigation. At this point we have not gotten the outcome we find satisfactory and would like to share our experience with others. On 9/13 for the first time we dropped our daughter off at kids quest in the Red Rock Hotel and casino, she was there for approximately an hour and a half that night while my husband and I had dinner on hotel property. When we picked her up, we were heading home, and asked our daughter about her time at kids quest. She shared with us there was a boy she was playing with (which she later identified in person and kids quest personnel confirmed they were playing together), and that he TOUCHED HER VAGINA. Said they were in the play structure (which staff also confirmed and where she came out of when we picked her up) and he told her to take off her pants and panties and coerced her with play money, said she could have it if she played his game but reported he never gave it to her (she's not even 4 years old yet). We immediately drove back to kids quest and in an attempt to verify if my daughter was okay, I looked in her pants and panties and found said play money stuck to her rear tucked under her panties (she had no idea it was there but it confirmed the story she already shared with me) kids quest director later confirmed it belonged to their pretend play area in the facility. I immediately called police, and had her identify the boy the second we got back to the facility. While police were on site trying to gather information about the boy, incident and camera footage, the boy was allowed to roam and play in the facility with other children and was not removed. I even commented while there and police said they were not in charge of kids quest policies. We were there for what felt like a really long time while families and parents came and went when one of the workers had an "oh shit" look on her face, I knew this was the parents of the boy my daughter had just accused of sexual abuse and she again identified him as he approached the counter. At this point unsuspecting dad has walked away when the police officer approaches mom. Once she is made aware she frantically jumps on the phone to call dad back, because he walked away with no concern about the uniform officers in the lobby. It was apparent they did not notify the boys parents. At the end of the day, metro has shared there cannot and will not be criminal charges against the 7 year old boy- he cannot legally face criminal charges until the age of 8. According to kids quest director that night, he and twin brother are locals and frequent this location all the time and this is the first report of this kind against him. According to the VP of kids quest after the internal review their findings show their staff responded appropriately that night and did notify the boys parents and there was no evidence this occurred so they could not ban the boy from returning to their establishment. Reminder, cameras are down so all they have is the word of their employees and my daughters word vs the boys to put the pieces together. Their staff did not remove him nor contact his parents as they claim in their internal investigation. I brought this to the VP of kids quest attention when I provided a copy of the police report where the officer wrote, "dad refused to provide any additional identifying information as he was upset that kids quest did not notify them of the incident and he only found out about it as he was there to pick up his children." This clearly contradicts the findings of their internal investigation. At the end of the day an accusation, lack of operational cameras and a police report that contradicts their internal investigation is all I have. It's proven not to be enough for them to dismiss this boy from their establishment, or cast enough doubt for them to admit they fell short in their response or possible prevention of the situation but I wanted other parents, not kids quest, to decide what's best for their family and be aware of our experience before choosing to leave your kids at this facility.

Food/snacks: there is a price list of snacks, drinks and food that is made in the kitchen inside the play area. We requested that our kiddo gets a snack or drink when he requested it so they didn't need to call us to get our okay which made it easier on us and them. Security: once you check in, you get a barcode and the same barcode is on a sticker on the back of your kiddo's shirt along with a wristband. To check out your little one, yiu have to present the barcode along with your ID before your kiddo is released to you. The gate access is not a simple push gate but it needs to have a team members unlock the gates. There is always someone at the check in counter so that made us feel safer that someone was overseeing the entrance to kids quest. I recommend dropping off your diaper bag with all the essentials that your little one may need (diaper, diaper wipes, extra clothes etc). For safety reasons, they do not allow outside food or drinks. Unless there are dietary restrictions. The hourly rate is $14/per hour for a max of 5 hours. Immunization records are not required if you live outside of Nevada but if you use their service for 15 consecutive days than it's required and sent via email. They don't tolerate bad behavior even between siblings. If that happens, they will call you to pick up your kiddo. I like that so that other kids dont mimic that behavior and your little is safe from bullying. The space was HUGE! There were play kitchen, virtual ball type games, climbing obstacles and some video games. Literally something for every kids at any age. They also had plenty of staff members around all the time to keep an eye on the kids who also are able to help change diapers, remind kids to use the potty but kiddos 4 years and older use the restrooms themselves. The service was overall amazing and the price was very reasonable with the care that they provided. This place is such a great idea to have at Red Rock and has made me rethink my choice in hotel on my next visit.
