Before I get to the paint I just want to say NOTTTT to book the candle option. Not at all what I thought. I thought maybe you picked your jar. Your scent. Some coloring. Got to melt the wax and mix everything. No....... All you do is pick the scent and stick the wick to the jar. They bring you a cup of melted wax you stir your scent in and pour it in the jar. I'm sorry but not fun and not worth it. Also awkward with no music and being the only ones in there with the staff. As far as the painting it was our first black light paint experience. It was interesting but fun! We got the little fun pack with a light up flower crown, glasses, candy, and face paint. It was a cute add on! They have a nice little menu for drinks and snacks. The class was fun overall and instructor was nice butttttt it was not as helpful as the other paint classes I've taken where they really go step by step. This was a more free hand ... here's some ways to make trees but you just do it yourself how you want. Which is cool but also frustrating if you suck at painting like most people do. Overall fun but other places have been better. read more

We were so excited for the black light painting, and candle making. First start with the candle ..very disappointed. They give you a sticker and tell you to put a label and sticker on it. You pick a scent and then they pour it in a little cup. They bring you the hot wax already melted you pour the scent in there and you're done. Definitely not what we were expecting as we've made candles before where you melt the wax yourself and you could put colors and dies in it and have fun with it. it was just $27 a waste money. Now for the painting music and it's gonna be a good last couple was put us getting started like 45 minutes later than we should have. Every time I've gone to a painting class the instructor gives you step-by-step on how to create each part of the painting. This was kind of a overall tutorial. This is how I do it and you just go have fun trying to make it. I have to pay everybody paintings look really different and everyone was a little frustrated. Not sure how to get it to look like the actual painting that the instructor was doing. Some peoples work just belongs to paint smeared on the canvas, not sure of how to blend correctly. I mean, the people are nice, but definitely not like any of the other paintings I've done at least with the other places. I've walked out with my painting, looking like the instructors. This painting was just a hot mess. Don't wanna post a picture as I'm embarrassed. read more

I came with a few women to celebrate a birthday. You are not able to bring outside beverages, but you're able to bring your own snacks. The place had its own bar and so I ordered a bottle of Moscato to share with a group. Prices were reasonable. The instructor was awesome and we had a great time. We have had three staff events at Pinot's Palette at Boca Park and have always had a great experience! We are always treated kindly by everyone. Two of our events were private parties for the Paint Your Own Pet Portrait and the manager Christina has always been great with communicating everything needed to prepare for the event. We especially want to give a shout out to Alex and Jenn, the artists who assist during the painting, for helping us to get our pet portraits to look great. Thank god for their help!! Even when there was a problem with the printing of the canvases for our pet portraits, the owner was so generous with us to make sure we were taken care of. First time giving this a try and wasn't disappointed. Staff was super friendly and helpful. They paint step by step at a pace that everyone can follow and even have time to come around to answer questions. They serve a variety of wines, beers and soft drinks along with a couple of snacks. Attended a date night painting class. Wonderful way to spend some time with your significant other. They have a main instructor that explains everything on how to mix your paint and demonstrates on how to paint the preselected picture. There are also a couple of other instructors that roam around the class assisting with getting more paint or helping you on how to paint. Of course there is the wine/beer that you can purchase. QUARANTINE REVIEW: I haven't had the pleasure of attending a class in their studio, but my child has taken advantage of their Paint-At-Home kits. She has completed 4 during quarantined time and their kits have quickly taken over ART class for her. The instructions are very easy to follow and she feels so accomplished after doing her painting. The kits come fully equipped with not only the paint needed for the art project, but also the tools. Yes, they gave us all the brushes needed which is awesome. Lately, they have been delivering the kits to my house which is super convenient especially with the heat starting to increase. On their website you can preview the type of painting class they offer and secure a spot by registering online, or you can do a walk-in. Price for Holiday paintings start at $39. I attended the Painting It Forward class in support of breast cancer awareness for The Remissionaries. It's a nonprofit organization founded by breast cancer survivors Christina and Jessica. Their mission is to provide a comfort crate for women who are about to start chemotherapy. Inside these comfort crates are small tokens like blanket, socks, and hand knit beanie to keep warm on treatment days, lotion, soft toothbrush, cough drops, a handy thermometer, and a puzzle book to help pass time. Upon entrance, Christina greeted and welcomed every person with a smile, we made our payment at the bar, and half the cost is donated to The Remissionaries. There's a cubby shelf for us to safely set aside belongings like sweaters and bags. They have an orange apron for kids and a blue apron for adults to wear for painting. The blue apron is like a one size fits all. It was a little too big for me, but I didn't trip. We were painting a JOY WREATH. It's great they have a projector to see how the painting strokes are done. I try the very best I can to follow, but I can never replicate someone else's artwork. So I painted the JOY WREATH as my very own and made the leaves fuller and thick, stuck in some twigs, added berries and a candy cane. I'm surprise how well it turned out. I got to see everyone else's paintings and all of them look remarkable! If you're feeling stuck, the instructor can help but it is highly encouraged that you give it a go and just have fun with it. There is no experience necessary. You can bring your family and friends to join you, set a date night, have a group painting party, or create an event for a good cause. I wanted to schedule a date night with my guy, and it was such a happy coincidence that we did it on, well, you guessed it--date night at Pinot's Palette! He had been resistant to trying this out because, you know, bad experiences with art class in school. But sir, this is nothing like art class in school. It was a wonderfully simple setup. Tunes from the good ol' days were bumping. The Riesling wine was sweet, crisp, and delicious and only $9 per glass. Our teacher, Deb, was rad. And then there was us, each couple in the class with their own set of easels side-by-side, enjoying one another's company. Honestly, I had no idea that the date night experience even existed, but I'm so lucky I booked it on the very night I needed this fun, relaxing experience. Visited Pinot's Palette with some friends for a session. I was welcomed by instructor and was shown to a room where our class would occupy. In the front is a larger area, where there is a bar where you can purchase drinks and snacks. I put on an apron and got an easel with canvas, paints, and paintbrushes. There was a shelf area to store bags and belongings. We had a great time painting! The session goes by quickly, but still had enough time to have conservation and ask questions. This was my first time trying Pinot's Palette and I went with a couple friends for a birthday. What a cool place! We really had a great time. We did the bottomless mimosa's which were $18 per person and they gave us a carafe that was continuously refilled at our station. Smocks are provided and there is a break half way through. Our group was sat together and the painting instructor Debbie was funny and entertaining to follow along with. Great Date night spot or fun with the friends. Every painting is unique and more fun with a couple glasses of wine in you to bring out your inner Van Gogh! This time we had won a ticket to this event from Sunny 106.5 who hosted and had a raffle for even more prizes. The wine glasses and bottles were 1/2 off and food was catered by Rachel's Kitchen. This was the third time we have painted together at one of these events and each time it brings us closer together and we have a great time. Everyone gets the same instruction and we all mix the paints and stroke the brushes, but when you get up and look around you are amazed as to everyone else's interpretation of the instructors words. Some are frame worthy, some look like a 5 year old painted them. But over all its fun to see how much every one is enjoying themselves whilst channeling their inner Bob Ross! The fact that you keep red wine in the same fridge as the white wine just breaks my soul. It's the little fixes. For someone who has no drawing skills at all, my painting turned out rad! The place is well organized and you get to sit in your groups. The instructor will give you step by step instructions on your painting, so don't worry. They tell you techniques on blending, what brush to use, and give you enough time. Doing this piece was actually very therapeutic. There are also many options at the bar for drinks. Instead of getting a glass of wine each, we decided to purchase a bottle to share between the 3 of us. There are many paintings to choose from. I want to do the VGK one next! I see the wine & paint night ads all over Groupon and Facebook but I've never tried one til a colleague scheduled a private event here and invited me. It was a surprisingly fun night, and the painting itself went far better than I'd expected! My usual issue when browsing this type of business is that the paintings are not something I'd ever hang up or display anywhere- but the selection here is huge and if you set up a private event you can choose from their massive array of paintings. Our group of 9 had a private room and instructor, which allowed us to socialize more than the drop-in class, and was still their same $39 rate. It was cool to see how we all had the same teacher and instructions, but somehow came away with totally different versions of the same image! Mine was definitely not the best, I'll leave it at that. I think our instructors name was Paul? His directions were clear and the pacing felt fast at times but worked out well for us to finish up in the given amount of time without obsessing over details. It was fun, and the music played while we painted was a great mix of 90s classics. Menu is limited- they have some featured specials, like a 2/$13 deal on moscatos or ciders, but their regular menu has most wine glasses ~$8 with several options available by the bottle only. They only have a limited selection of snacks like bagged popcorn and crackers, but you are able to bring in your own. I can't say paint nights are my new favorite way to socialize, but I had a positive first experience and would go again. read more
