The owner is super nice and friendly, and will help with anything you want to make or learn how to do. The fees are so affordable, which is helpful considering you can use all the materials there...things can get so expensive when you try to do it yourself!!! Even just painting pre-made pottery pieces are more affordable, and much more paint selection I've ever seen, than other pottery places. I even recommended it to a friend who ended up making some really cool ceramic pieces, she always wanted to do it but didn't know how or where to get started. I wish I could go all the time haha!!!!

Came here two times several months ago and didn't have the greatest experience. My friends and I…read morevisited during two separate weeks, but it just so happened that both times, the instructors we were supposed to have didn't show up, so we had the same substitute instructor twice. We took a beginner wheel class, but I didn't feel like I learned a lot because the substitute instructor had other priorities. The class started about 30 minutes late, but we didn't get to make up that lost time. And to top it off, the instructor was distracted and dropped the piece (that I wanted to keep) while wiring it off the wheel! I understand that it was a hectic day and the instructor was busy all by themself, so I scheduled another beginner class a week later. But, I had a similar experience, and I still didn't feel like the instructor had their full and undivided attention on us. I feel like I didn't get my money's worth both times. I'm sure the classes and instructors are great, but I don't see myself coming back here.

Decided to do an experience for Fathers Day and took my dad and my husband, plus a ride along with…read moremy mom! The fee for pottery was $60 per person. In addition, the pottery includes one piece ONLY, each additional is extra (which was not said prior). If I had known, I would've focused on one piece if that was the issue. Oh well. The instructor was knowledgable, but Im disappointed we couldnt follow along, but instead the instructor went through the whole plan and then let us go. Wish we could've worked along side the instructor. But may try again! We shall see

She also painted a beautiful landscape similar to those Bob Ross paintings. I am so amazed when my child comes up to me with one of her new masterpieces. She just loves Miss Mimi. I highly recommend art classes with Miriam for kids. She works in all kinds of media such as drawing, painting, recycled art, sewing, wood burning, polymer clay, and so much more. She even teaches after school classes at the Doral Academies, but so far, only at Saddle and Cactus. My daughter goes to a newer campus and we really wish they would bring her on board there as well. The learning space is very relaxing, peaceful and intimate! She always has a relaxing calm environment. She even has snacks and refreshments! She truly takes care of all her students and gives them a beautiful environment to explore themselves and be creative with no judgment! Julinya is the best teacher.
