I used to live in LA, moved back home to Vegas and when I wanted to work on my craft again, I found Dean's acting school.

I was lucky enough to work for Golden Gate Casino until life brought me to California.  I've been here a short time now.  Yesterday I auditioned for the new Hard Rock Casino in Tejon, they hired me on the spot.  Thank you for our time together and the education to help me land two Casino jobs.

I can honestly say Alex is a FANTASTIC teacher who really just wants you to succeed. He works really hard to help you get all the tools and training you need. It's on you to practice and get better. during the time of my schooling, I had just learned Blackjack proficiently and decided to go for an audition at El Cortez. Unfortunately, they told me they were full on blackjack dealers, but they can REALLY use dice dealers. Alex worked with me and helped me get better at the math and practicing with units. He gave me chips to practice my cutting and told me to come back whenever I want as often as I want but practicing at home too would be crucial for faster success. He was very honest saying it takes about 6 weeks to be proficient in craps and I appreciated his honesty and directness. I kept practicing, but my 5th week in my teaching job opened up and I took that job. Alex has ALWAYS invited me back to finish up the package I paid for even though I declined. He really wanted me to continue to have something to fall back on and invited me back on numerous occasions to finish training. I firmly believe he is THE BEST ISNTRUCTOR in Vegas and really just wants to see people succeed and get better. Even at this location 7 years ago, the other students also learning were sharing horror stories of other school not helping, not coaching, and pairing you up with other trainees that didn't know what they were doing. I never EVER felt this at CEG, I always had personal coaching every minute I was there from him or another professional, and everyone there would go out of their way to help you succeed. Alex is the best man for the job. I firmly believe he wouldn't do business with anyone that didn't share his passion to help others and am glad to see him pair with Casino Quest staff. I'm DAMN SURE his vision is shared by everyone he works with. I'd bet the farm on it. He's an outstanding coach and person, and this was 8 years ago before they even got "big"!

I spent most of my time in class, studying, and playing video games. I wanted to figure out how to get more out of life than what I had. I wanted to know how to meet people and make friends. I wanted to have a healthier, happier self-image. I wanted to feel confident and have the courage to throw myself into the deep end of life. Just by listening to the podcast, I managed to turn my college experience around. I made a number of solid friends, was invited to some great parties, crashed some great parties, and went on some stellar adventures with fun people. But as I neared graduation I felt like I had reached a plateau. I felt like I had pushed myself as far as I could on my own and my potential was still far beyond my reach. So, as soon as I moved out to San Diego for work, I signed up for a bootcamp at the Art of Charm because I'm a firm believer that a quality coach can always push me farther than I can push myself because I am limited by my own perspective and experience. Let me tell you, that was one of the best decisions I made. It was inspiring to be around like-minded humans who wanted to improve their lives, to be better humans overall, and to push each other outside of our comfort zones. And boy, did we get pushed. That week I spent in LA forever altered the course of my life. There was so much knowledge, instruction, and application of principles packed into one week that I kept returning on weekends to sit through class and help out wherever I could. It was worth every penny and more. I recommend the podcast and the bootcamp to everyone who expresses an interest in developing their confidence and social skills. The subsequent decade was an amazing rollercoaster ride filled with high highs and low lows. I made some amazing friends across the globe, fell into some magical romances with wonderful humans, switched careers multiple times, discovered my love for solo-backpacking, learned to love myself, went on some adventures rivaling anything you've seen on the big screen, and learned countless valuable life lessons I will carry with me for the rest of my life. What a ride it's been. In closing, I attribute most, if not all of the success, confidence, and life fulfillment I have to The Art of Charm. If you want to get the most out of life, I can't recommend the bootcamp strongly enough.

She's hands down the best part about the school. After Mrs. A...everything is terrible. It took over a month to get a background check done. I called to speak with the career specialist who handles these things, she rude. She did not want to offer help or advice, she simply stated it's out of her hands and just wait...like i hadn't been waiting all this time. I asked if she could provide the number for the background check so I could call. She said, "there was no point in calling them because they are going to tell you the same thing I'm saying now". After calling the background check the man who helped me stated he could put a rush on it and it was taken care of within 24 hours. When I called previous to starting and asking questions about the process, assuming it's the same rude lady, she seemed to be in a hurry and wanted to get you off the phone as soon as possible. They are quick to take your money but move so slow on everything else. Claim to be a fast program but don't have enough extern sites for the students. Students can wait months before they are placed on extern. It's very difficult to get a hold of anyone. Hell, one of my classmates secured a contract for the school before she even externed and didn't even get a thank you. They are extremely disorganized and have no idea what they are doing when it comes to students. Once the background check was done I had the opportunity to schedule my exam. Exam scheduled and it took two hours to start the proctored exam...2 hours to start!

I am a former student and graduate of this institute, and based on my firsthand experience, courses are rushed to the point where students barely have time to actually learn the material, creating a chaotic and stressful environment instead of a proper educational one. The institute clearly does not care about the quality of education or who actually graduates, they only care about money. Tuition was originally $18,500 and was suddenly raised to $20,500, with no justification or improvement in education or resources to match the increase. to be honest, a perfect example of this lack of organization was the laser course, which was a required course to complete the program. Instead of ensuring students had proper access and time to finish, the institute started another laser course for a different class at the same time. This created unnecessary competition for limited rooms and equipment, making an already important course extremely stressful and difficult to complete. They track things that don't benefit students and ignore what actually matters for learning and success. Everything feels money driven rather than student focused. Save yourself the frustration, stress, and wasted money, do not attend this school. Choose a different institute that actually values its students and their future.
