Follow me to visit a hidden local bookstore. Even I didn't know this store existed and I drive through this area frequently. I entered a bookstore with antique, rare, used, and new books! There is an area for kids and it was Hogwarts inspired. Workers are nice and friendly. And book prices are very reasonable.

    Love me some historical fiction!

What an absolutely wonderful shop! Great selection of books that are reasonably priced, cute decorations and an amazing staff. Wendy and April were just delightful; I ended up hanging out and just talking to them for a while. The shop was also interviewing a local author when I was there. This is a perfect example of a small business that makes our community better and more vibrant. I can't wait to go back and see what other gems I find!

This was a cute used books store. They had a good amount of genres to choose from. The book prices vary. They had some good deals and a few books that were quite expensive. The book we did end up choosing was a good deal and had an extra discount on top of it so that was nice! As far as the service, we were greeted when we walked in and asked if we needed help finding anything and the same employee let us know about the discount when we were checking out so that was kind of them because we had no idea.

Blind Date with a bag of romance books!

We stopped in today for the first time and we love your store! Great selection of books, lots of options for all ages. Friendly staff! Love the blind date with a book bags- affordable and fun! We can't wait to stop in again. Thank you

This is a beautiful small owned business and everything an out this place is beautiful. The owner I met today was Wendy and she is truly a gem. Fun to talk to, sociable, and so so so so helpful. They have such great selections of books from non fiction to fiction, etc. they also sell cute trinkets from HP wands , local art, etc. This place is very homey and almost like a time capsule on its own. It's beautiful inside and cozy. I wish we saw some of the resident cats today but none were there as per Wendy. Also , I learned the history of how Copper Cat Books came to be... thank you for sharing your story Wendy! I don't know why it took my years to step foot in here and that I regret so much but I'm glad I did it today because I will be coming back now. This is a wonderful place in the city and there is nothing like it around here so it's so refreshing to visit a place like this.

Cute tropical reading nook... yes you're actually encouraged to sit & read!

Okay sooo I'm literally ridiculously happy with my trip to Copper Cat Books. It's bright and welcoming with well organized shelves of used books just waiting to be discovered by you... you can't help but notice the Young Adult nook complete with Harry Potter section & accessories (go Gryffindor!!!) just as you walk in... did I mention a nice selection of Nancy Drew?! And you can just SMELL them waiting to unveil their troves of adventures and secrets. They have a little bit of everything there... classics like Chaucer from the $60 range in EXCELLENT condition and worth it!!... to $5 books of ALL genres... Today I met Jay, who was incredibly knowledgeable, very courteous and made an amazing suggestion that hit the nail on the head so to speak... I'm already planning on making this book store part of my shopping local routine!!!

Review #500! I love reading and have several books in my collection. I had just gotten my nails done a few doors down from Copper Cat Books and I decided to check them out after my appointment. If you're a bookworm, then this is your place. Though most of the books here are used, they are still in great condition. They have many choices to choose from, ranging from fiction to young adult. They have one book cart outside where books are discounted for $1. Other discounted book carts can be found inside, ranging from between $3 and $5. There is also a small room designated for Harry Potter books and other children's books. Author signings take place here, too. I bought four books and they only cost $27 - what a nice deal. The guy that rung me up also gave me a free small piece of candy. They have a cat that hangs out here as well, but I didn't see him. I guess he was hiding from everyone. Maybe I'll see him next time. In these times where bookstores are going/have gone extinct, they are doing a great job staying in business.

Super friendly staff! We had our monthly book club meeting here in the back. They have a nice little area to sit on couches and chat about our monthly read. They have excellent prices on books and even do discounts. If you are looking for any book, they can get it!

A great collection of cool books! I especially love browsing the poetry and classics sections. They seem to blend a mix of used and new which keeps things interesting. If you follow popular bookstagram choices, they have some of those in new or perfect condition in their large Fiction aisle. Recently, I acquired a gorgeous copy of The Count of Monte Cristo. Wendy has been very kind to talk books and Harry Potter the last couple times I stopped in. I'll be back to browse again soon!

Five Stars for Copper Cat Books! Nice selection of books, clean, well organized, great prices, friendly staff, great quality! While shopping I had the pleasure of having a wonderful conversation with the owners as well, wonderfully nice people! I am already looking forward to my next visit to shop for more books!

They have placed an adult/teen horror title, The Book of Bill, directly in front of the puppet show and toddler reading area. My 6-year-old opened it, and my 10-year-old was so disturbed by the graphic, nightmarish imagery that they had to slam the book shut and told me they would have nightmares from it.There is absolutely NO excuse or reason for a mature book with a warning label stating it is 'meant for older readers' to be mixed onto a low shelf meant for small children. It is negligent to put terrifying, bloody content where a toddler can grab it while playing. Management needs to answer for this, fix this dangerous display immediately, and keep adult horror completely out of the children's play space. Parents, be on high alert here. I will be adding some pictures so you can see what your children will see if they get their hands on it. On the surface, this Barnes & Noble is a wonderful place for families--it has the massive variety of a library, a great Starbucks conveniently located inside, and a beautifully arranged space filled with toys, puppets, and activities for everyone. Because it feels like such a welcoming community hub, I sat down and let my kids explore the children's section, thinking it was a safe environment. I never imagined I would need to shadow their every step. Sadly, a great store can be completely ruined by negligent shelving and a total lack of common-sense oversight by management. Please do better.
