I come to Lakeshore primarily to get supplies to decorate bulletin boards at work. The store is clean, well stocked, and there's great variety. From the moment I walked in, the employees were helpful with guiding me to where I needed to look for the supplies I was searching for. If you're a teacher or have a child in your life, I highly recommend checking them out for all your learning needs.

Located in an area with lots of parking! Great store to come for teacher supplies or anything else needed! They have a bunch of items! The store is a little pricey! However if you sign up for rewards you can get good deals!

Very nice employees and clean organized store. They have everything you could ever imagine. It's pretty pricey which is why only 4 stars.

Huge!!! The Costco of teachers supplies! Too bad Lakeshore in Cali is only a 1/3 of the size of the one in Henderson.

You actually are offered what you want and need. They also have an online catalog, art classes, and picture and photo framing and more. My parents really appreciated them and made good use of their supplies since they moved to Las Vegas in the 1970's. I have known the owner since I started needing architectural and art supplies, while attending UNLV in the 2000's. They have been a constant and reliable resource for me and anyone I direct to them. I brought in a complex three-part piece that measured a total of 82" x 42", and they matched and framed each section with incredible precision. I honestly didn't know what to expect when I dropped it off, but CJ went above and beyond. The only thing worth mentioning is that it took a little longer than other places would have to complete. That said, it makes sense when the quality is this high. If you're looking for top-notch framing, this is the place. Just plan to give them a bit of extra time to work their magic.

They even sell sparkles and glitter to make everything shine even better. Did you know that they actually have balloons on demand. They make balloons on short notice too. They made the balloons for our event with three hours notice. Talk about planning at its best. The staff here were really friendly and knowledgeable about what we needed. I've noticed that the shelves are almost never fully stocked anymore and that the selection is much less than it normally would be. The cooking section used to be my jam but there isn't much to choose from anymore. I would come to get buy one, get one silicone molds all the time, it was a problem. I've noticed that the fun sales seems to have dwindled and that it's not the best value for your spend anymore. The people working are still pretty much the same. Not bad, not the best. I do appreciate the self-checkout area. Makes it much easier to get what you need and go.

For something like this the spacing and cut outs have to be super precise and right on the money. Steven was an absolute pro and helped me pick the perfect matting as well for my project. He's very meticulous and you can tell he loves his job and wants you to be thrilled with the result. He's a real asset to Michaels and I hope they get him some help back there because it seems very busy and he's basically a one-man show. 5 stars all the way!

It was hard to tell the prices on some items that I came across that I was interested in so I used the Michael's app to scan for a price. The items that I had found had a great sale price so I put them in my cart. When I went to go to self checkout the prices were not ringing up for the same amount on the app. I didn't see on the app "on-line price only." I didn't have many items. They had 2 cashiers working & a little bit of a line had formed behind me. Not good to be under staffed during a holiday shopping mth. I was able to ask a cashier behind me about this price discrepancy as I explained it was a different price then when I scanned the items on-line. She had told me "those are on-line prices" I told her I thought this was ridiculous, that I'm in the store already so in order to get these prices I need to order them thru the app & come back to pick them up? Can't I have them for the price listed since I'm here already? She told me I could speak to the manager about it but she was busy with a customer who wanted to buy a Christmas tree on the floor since it was the last one. I had come in here after working all night & needed to get home to get to bed. I didn't feel like waiting so I didn't buy these items & set them aside. I did buy a couple of other items that weren't on sale. A few days later I purchased the items I left behind on the app & did a pickup where I parked in a number parking spot & an employee brought it out to my car. I didn't have to wait too long for the lady to bring it out but honestly this is stupid. A customer will still spend money whether they're going to purchase on-line or go into the store. This cute Christmas platter I got had some flaws in it so I had to go back into the store praying that they still had one & one that didn't have any flaws & do an exchange. I got lucky! But it stinks that I couldn't have picked the item out myself while in store & get the cheaper price. Dumb! I feel like Michael's has jacked up their prices too. I'd say the best time to shop here is when the items are on sale.

Almost didn't find it there too, but thank god I kept looking everywhere or else I would've missed it. Since I never go here, I have no idea where anything was and was in a time crunch. When I went to go check out I noticed a male employee went to stand by the door. As an ex retail employee, I know exactly what that means - they think someone is going to steal. The way he was so obviously watching me like a hawk while I was in line was a joke. Maybe it's cause I quickly walked through the entire store as I was in a rush? Idk. One thing I got that caught my eye is a storage box. As a previous retail employee, I know you're supposed to check the inside of the box. The cashier didn't and put it in the bag and he told her to open it up. I looked over at him and smiled and laughed. She took it out of the bag and opened it up to find it empty. Then I looked back at him, laughed again and smiled. What I wanted to do was leave everything there and just leave. I don't even care to this give this business my money as it is, but the employees could be trained A LOT better. My cashier even proceeded to miss an item when ringing things up, and barely caught it after she gave me my total. So worried I was going to steal when the employee almost gave me something for free. Truly laughable. Maybe he should've payed more attention to what she was doing. Don't plan on coming back. Especially when they have tens of employees all over and 2 of the slowest cashiers. Their register system of manually entering the prices and discounts is SO outdated. Get with the times. Overall? Selection was decent. Service? Awful. Value? Overpriced, even with 40% off nearly everything. Can find way better quality at a lower price elsewhere. Employees? Need further training, especially if the man was a manager.

There's a wide variety of slimes to choose from, and everything is well-presented. The atmosphere of the store is also fantastic--bright, fun, and welcoming, making it an enjoyable place to browse and shop. That said, there was one thing that stood out to me in a not-so-great way. I noticed employees cleaning the floors on their hands and knees, scrubbing manually. While I appreciate the effort to keep the store clean, it felt a bit unusual and outdated--especially in 2026 when there are more efficient and ergonomic cleaning tools available, like mops or other equipment. It also made me think about employee comfort and working conditions. I noticed this while walking by during closing time, and it still felt a bit strange to see that level of manual scrubbing instead of more standard cleaning methods. Overall, I would still recommend this shop for its awesome products and positive vibe. I just hope management considers updating their cleaning practices to something more practical and employee-friendly.
