Absolutly my favorite children's resale store in Henderson. The store is HUGE and has a ton of items - everything from toys to baby equipment to clothes. They buy your items and offer cash or you can opt to use the credit towards your purchase. (*NOTE: They do not buy maternity clothes, but they do purchase some maternity items). Nearly all my son's clothes, toys, equipment, and books are from this store and they have bought nearly everything I've brought in to sell. So...this is just my personal experience, I understand that everyone else's may differ. But honestly, I found the wait time to sell baby items to be a little excessive, especially when they don't take half the things you bring...which is fine, I get it. But other than that their customer service could improve a lot. Long story short, I walked in today at 37 weeks pregnant, trying to make a little extra money, and after being told the wait would be two hours, I grabbed my things and headed out. I had my hands full and despite the fact that I was visibly very pregnant, no one even moved a finger to help with the door, which is quite heavy, and I nearly tripped trying to get through it while carrying everything. Girl behind the counter simply stood there watching me, didn't offer any assistance, or even said "have a good rest of you day" at the very least..... And I understand no one is obligated to provide special treatment, but I do think basic courtesy and customer service matter. Offering to hold a heavy door for a visibly pregnant customer carrying several things would have taken only a few seconds. But yeah....the experience left a bad enough impression that I personally won't be returning. Very disappointed. read more

I've never sold anything here, but I exclusively come here for my baby's clothes. The prices are usually pretty good, the quality of clothes is good (the bamboo quality is hit or miss). If you follow them on social media there are a lot of great deals. My only negative is the toy section is a disaster. It's always just random and not organized, I don't even take the time to browse toys anymore. Between toys and books, they also aren't very clean so I regularly decide to shop strictly clothing. read more

I went in looking for baby gates and left with a bag of cute clothes! the 2 ladies in the store were nice and gave so much information about how the trade in process works. Children's consignment store right next to Sunset Station is a great find! One Upon A Child is such a great store and deal! We stumbled upon this business while running errands on this end of town, and come out with $20 worth of new clothes for our 1 year old. They have such a big selection for boy and girl from newborn sizes up until 10/11 years old (maybe even older) we came in looking for a baby gate, unfortunately they didn't have the one we were looking for, but there were tons of options! Toys, books, clothes, shoes, diapers, cribs, beds, bassinets & whatever other baby items you can think of, they have them! And for a great price! You can also bring in up to 2 (I believe) bags of clothes a day to sell or get a store credit. This has been one of my favorite stores for toddler clothes thanks to the great prices and ever-changing selection of secondhand finds! The staff and owner have always been friendly and welcoming, making each visit enjoyable. Recently, as my family prepares to move, I brought in a few items to sell. The first associate was kind and explained why some items couldn't be accepted. However, another associate interrupted her in a way that felt dismissive and unprofessional, which made the interaction uncomfortable. I also mentioned that some items had originally been purchased from this store but was told they couldn't be accepted because they weren't name-brand. While I understand that guidelines can change, a clearer explanation would have been appreciated. My disappointment wasn't about the items being declined, but how the situation was handled. I've been to this store many times and have found amazingly great deals on diapers and items for both of my kids. I bring their old clothes and get them new stuff. The women have always been friendly and fair behind the register. They don't offer a lot for what they buy but that is because they don't sell it for a lot. Obviously there are a handful of salty Mommas who were trying to sell garbage for decent money and were disappointed when that wasn't the case. Came back as a seller today. I had a trash bag full of clothes, toys, and a few other items. The process to selling here is fast and easy. All I needed was an ID and was told to complete a few questions after they sent me a link. I left my things there and after about an hour and a half they text me saying it was ready. I'm so excited to have Once Upon a Child opening right here in East Henderson! I've always loved shopping at similar stores such as Kid-to-Kid, but driving all the way to Summerlin was a bit of a hassle, so this new location is going to be such a gem for our community. Once Upon a Child is known for offering affordable, gently used children's clothing, toys, baby gear, and more--all in great condition and at a fraction of the original cost. I really appreciate how the store owners shared their plans for keeping everything well-organized, making it easy to find exactly what I need. I also love that I can bring in my kids' outgrown items and receive cash or store credit in return. It's a fantastic, eco-friendly, and budget-conscious option for parents. I can't wait to support this wonderful new addition to the neighborhood! According to their Instagram, it looks like they'll start buying clothes by mid-December if all goes as planned. I am not thrilled after my sell today. We brought in clothes, some toys, shoes, boots, soccer cleats, books and decor to name some items. We came back when our items were ready and she gave us the price of $40.05. I asked what items they took and she told me the My Generation car and 30 pieces of clothing. My husband and I said ok, and we took our not purchased stuff and came home. When we looked at the boxes, some clothing was gone, but the items they bought were multiple pairs of rain boots (four pair), two pairs of soccer cleats, one pair of baby boots, 10 Disney books, the toys and card game that goes with it, 2 car seat canopies, plus the my generation car. Not 30 pieces of clothing. This officially made it NOT a good deal for them to buy. I am really bothered that when I asked what they purchased, I didn't get accurate information to decide if it was a fair price. It has become almost not worth it to go there anymore to sell, which is a bummer because I really enjoyed being able to sell and buy - especially since they have more clothes for older kiddos now. read more

The store has a large inventory, which is great and their prices are decent on their clothing. They're larger items are a bit overpriced. I would still probably give a five star review because the customer service is great however, I just left there and I get overstimulated because they allow their customers to let their kids run all over the store like crazy children and I feel like the staff should be allowed to tell people to keep their kids with them I could not get through the entire store. I literally cut my time. They're short because of the fact that the kids were so rude and obnoxious and riding bikes throughout the store. This is one parent that had like seven kids with her. Smh do any parents reading this please do better unfortunately these kids will be adults one day and I don't want my kids walking around a little jerks. Just stopped in to sell some of my kids clothes and shoes and man what an awesome and easy experience! Brought in our clean clothes in bins, folded nice, and shoes, they take your info and print labels to attach to the bins, then you can leave...no waiting around for them to view your items, they call you when they're done checking everything out, you stop back in and get paid! Super easy! All the workers are nice, friendly, and helpful! The store manager and owner were also there and were helpful with any questions. Very unreasonable! You need an ID to register which I left at home. I asked if they can inspect the items while I ran to get it and they said no. They saw I was alone, carrying my sleeping daughter. I think for a place that makes money off of children's items they'd be more reasonable seeing a single parent bring all the things down from the car just to load them back up alone. I don't understand why it you couldn't read the room and be a bit more understanding. I rather struggle and sell these items on my own then have a group of people working here look at me struggle and not care. read more

I've heard about this place on TikTok and I really wanted to check it out, mostly to sell my daughter's clothes since she is my last baby and I won't be needing them. Everything I buy is either Carter's, gap, target brand etc. the clothes were in great condition and washed before bringing to the store, I brought a bag full of newborn and 0-3 clothes. & I got cents back for each item they chose to be good enough to resell. I just wanted to say if you are thinking about selling clothes here, don't expect that much money back. I got $17. It's something, but not what I expected. Anyways I haven't really looked around the store because the two times I've been here seemed cluttered and not a lot of walking space to push around a stroller. I love this place they have used items that are in great shape. I've sold many things here, some which they decline, but for the most part I have made over 100 dollars here and I put it right back into their store! Lots of shoes for cheap clothes are cheap the toys are decently priced. Skip the savers and come here for anything child related. The staff is always helpful and friendly. Walked in was greeted by a hello however I stood there and was ignored. I came in to have some big items looked at brought them in after asking what the process is. After about 20 minutes not a bad wait they were done looking through our items, however most were rejected stating things were stained that may have had some dirt on them or slightly not perfect. Felt like a waste of our time if your items are not perfect do not go. A lot of obvious girl clothes mixed in, no true organization system on types of clothes, sizes in the wrong place. The customer service was also comically bad. I loved this store and can't wait for them to open. My daughter and I drove out and she sold a bunch of items and ended up making a couple hundred dollars which was completely unexpected!! Everyone in the store was very nice and accommodating and the process was fairly easy if you're used to resale stores. Clearly they value gently used, high quality items and are able to price your items properly as long as you take care of them and have good brands/good quality.
