One of my favorite resale spots in Henderson. Within a 5-mile radius there is Castaways, Goodwill, Savers, and a Salvation Army store, so there are MANY options to shop second hand and this is in my top 2. Sometimes the sections are a little sparse, and I have a theory that people tend to donate to Goodwill or Savers over this store. I think people may not know this hidden gem exists, as it is in a shopping center rather than a stand-alone store with big name recognition. The prices are phenomenal, especially the books. I can load up on a ton of books for our Little Free Library and not spend too much. I recently visited and I'm not a fan of how the clothing has been re-arranged. They used to have men's, women's, and children's and now the kids clothing is divvied up into the men's and women's section. If you're a thrifter looking for a good deal, give this store a chance. read more

Amazing thrift store! Like the old fashioned ones that are actually affordable. Anywhere for $1-5 for most items. Got a nice skirt for $3, kids toys for $1-3. Great book selection for $1-3. Some really nice board games - got exploding kittens. Very easy to drop off donations as well right around the back. Some really nice furniture. They even have a discount for first responders, military, or teacher. Will be coming back! read more

This store has the best prices, better than Savers or Goodwill. Super nice staff and the store is always nice and cool which makes it nice to shop. Sometimes they have a flash sale of clothes & shoes for $1.97! And they have many items for $1.00. Located in Henderson which is always nice. read more

Went there with high hopes. It was ok. People have no appreciation for workers there. Just because it is a thrift store, they want to keep things nice to sell. Kids messing with toys, adults not caring about kids making mess. I felt bad for the workers. I will go back but overall not a great experience and prices seemed a bit high. read more

Such a cute thrift store! Organized well with many unique finds at fair prices. I had no idea this place was even here but what a hidden gem! Staff was friendly, service was attentive and quick when checking out. I got some beautiful vintage crystal glasses for $1 each which I'm so excited about. Very classy and hard to find these days. Just relocating to the area, I needed to find a donation center for things that will not fit in our new home. After researching, I came across Castaways, and what a gem this location is!! Not only have I donated, I have shopped!! There are some really great finds with great prices. You will need to come back often as the inventory is constantly changing. The donation area is located behind the store in the back alley, can't miss it. They help unload your car/truck and are very friendly. read more

This is like a higher end Goodwill. I called to see if they could sell my wedding dress they said yes. I took it as consignment or pay me on the spot. Well neither happened. I went in they told me donation only. I'm like I called before I drove over here that's not what you said. They just kind of stood there and shrugged their shoulders. I eventually just left it there to be donated however everyone needs to get on the same page about how they conduct business. read more

I love the great , big thrift store . You can just walk around and look at all the different stuff they have . They get in new stuff everyday so it's like finding hidden treasures you'll never know what you're gonna find . Relaxing atmosphere just to wonder at your own pace. There's always sales and the staff is super nice . Love this place . read more

Enjoyed thrifting at this resale store with friends. It's very large and well organized. It also has a clean bathroom and dressing rooms. I enjoy the multiple specials they offer weekly. Prices are better than other places. Bought women's jeans that appear to be new for 97 cents. We walked out with at least six bags of items. Highly recommend! read more

With all resale stores going crazy with prices- castaways was able to keep their prices down and I sure appreciate it. Not that we are family in need, but I love bargain shopping and you can find so many cool items there. I donate all of my stuff there too. Shout out to Wayne! He was super helpful and pleasant. I saw a Halloween cat decoration I wanted to get and a lady at the counter wasn't sure it was for sale- so I called the next day and asked again. This time it was Wayne, he put an item aside for me. I was so thankful!! And boooooo to the other guy (tall and young) I had a toddler and a little baby in a car seat, and he gave me a big box to carry. He could have offered a little help. I guess he wasn't taught to be a bit more thoughtful. read more

This store is clean, well-stocked and had very reasonable prices. There are color tag discounts, and service was friendly. I was just visiting Vegas, but if I lived locally this would be my go-to for outfitting a home. My favorite thrift store in Henderson, all of Vegas for the most part honestly. The clothes selection for men's is limited, but I always find great finds for home decor and home related items. They are connected to the church which is great if you're also curious about finding passion in religion to each their own. Support local skip goodwill. Stop here first! read more

I have driven plast this place many times, and today I decided to stop inside. It's decently sized with some nice items! I ended up leaving with a $10 large Christmas lantern that lights up and my sister scored a mini travel easel, small tupperware set, and a nice blazer. She spent roughly $20 all together. They had some nice furniture pieces and the clothes, books, and movies are all very reasonably priced and the person who helped check us out was very kind. I would definitely go again! read more

**November 2022 Visit: Saturday Morning ** I had really high hopes for this shop since the prices were very affordable and it's well organized and clean. The store is quite large; however, despite the size the offerings didn't really suit my style. Many items had a more worn second-hand look. I think if you're in the market for pet equipment, books, or other things where how new it looks doesn't matter this can be a good option to consider! read more

I've been telling my friends about this store although, I haven't been there in a while. My friend and I went a few times and when we did, I loved the selection and bought a doll for my collection. Plus, I can get lost in the book section. However, I am giving 4 stars because when I needed help replacing a sofa for someone in need who was in the hospital, the store employees (and church employees who they are connected with) said they don't donate but I could go see what they had. I don't understand how this was helping someone in need. read more

Castaways is run by the Central Christian Church. It's one of the nicest thrift stores I've ever been to. It is clean, spacious and organized. Merchandise is clean and in great condition. They don't sell janky items that look like they should've been simply thrown away in the first place. I've been to other thrift stores that actually put broken or really dirty items up for sale. Not cool to come across a cumin/body odor ridden t-shirt while looking through the clothes rack :o They sell pretty much everything; furniture, housewares, clothing, toys, books, etc... Prices vary. They range from cheap to a little higher priced. They have daily specials so be sure to check out the board at the entrance or ask one of their friendly staff. If buying secondhand isn't your thing you can help by making a donation. They have a convenient donation drop off located in back of the building - just follow the signs. If you are in the area be sure to check them out. You never know what kind of treasures you'll find :) read more

Let me just say WOW WOW WOW IF YOU ARENT GOING HERE IM SORRY FOR YOU- my son, best friend and I are in here at LEAST once a week even if it's just to window shop- I've been coming here since I was 17 and am now 25, it's only gotten better over the years and let me just say the employees are one of the most amazing parts of coming here. They are so personable and kind! They have a kids toy bucket for little ones and my son always runs to the car shopping cart with the wheel inside so he can "drive it"! Very clean and organized. And for a thrift shop. That's a big deal. Compared to goodwill and Salvation Army thrift shops , this one is way better. And the prices are so much cheaper than most other resale shops. It's a very large store. So much to see. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a bargain or even to donate items. I didn't spend much time on the clothes as it was very busy and congested with people so I opted to shop around the perimeter for more home decor items. I'll definitely be back to check out the store more thoroughly. However I found a great picture frame... I'll be putting my own artwork in it but it was in great condition and large scale. No effort when I'm trying to do a decent thing and donate. Phone is near dead because I was using it for internet radio while packing up the donations from an empty house without power. But fine. I'll google it. Takes me to East Lake Mead. Which is a Salvation Army shelter... not a drop off center. Super unhelpful. Thanks.

SUPER CUTE & COOL WAY TO THRIFT!…read more I stumbled upon Indy Clover in the shopping plaza off of Stephanie and Sunset in Henderson. Wasn't too sure what it was all about. I spent a good amount of time just walking aisles looking at the different sections. Lots of really funky, cool, different, eccentric, and rare finds in here --everything from clothing to shoes, hats, purses, souvenirs, you name it. Adorable, pink and white wall paper themed dressing rooms lined the first aisle with a cheek sofa couch. Everything was self serve. The objective: Find a few things. Try them on if you wish and when you're ready, bring them up to the front counter to tally up your bill. Some very affordable, vintage items and new items here and what was really throwing me off is that there were named sections by people's names. The store was really chill, great music playing, full of customers and I finally had a chance to talk to one of the team members. They answered my pondering question that of what that was all about. So, basically you can donate your clothes to this store in a consignment fashion, each section is a different owner this is why sizing will be according to what the owner has available. Once something is sold the original owner is contacted with their commission and the store profits the rest that is my understanding of it. I am told that there are different days for sales like Thursdays and Fridays to definitely come back and check out the racks weekly as they change by the rack owners. Things move pretty quickly in here so if you see something you like you better grab it. Definitely want to seek out other locations and check back in with this location again soon. It was very neat and a fun and friendly way to shop. :)

The ladies working there were genuinely nice and down-to-earth, which I appreciated. I also spotted one seller with KanKan, Flying Monkey, and Risen jeans (my favorites), so that was a highlight. That said, most of the items this week felt a bit too fancy/dressy for what I was looking for, and overall the selection just didn't click with me. I left empty-handed. **I also heard some negative things on Reddit about selling at Indy Clovers. Apparently theft can be an issue. I'm not sure I'd ever sell my stuff there unless they improve their security.

But if you have clothes that you're otherwise going to donate or too lazy to sell yourself, this is a great place to bring them. Their store is actually smaller than the other one in Vegas (Northwest), so I understand they can't take that much inventory in at once. I've had more luck selling at the Northwest one, but prefer coming here since it's closer to where I live. Most of the workers here are pleasant and helpful, I've had a lot of stuff in my hands before and they offered to hold stuff in a bin for me or proactively open a fitting room. Selection can be hit or miss, I usually walk out with 1 or 2 items, but some days are better than others, you just gotta be willing to dig! Taking away a star as I think the cleanliness of the store could be upkept a little more, but I understand it's not a top priority. Just vacuuming would be sufficient to decrease dust!

She was so incredibly rude and would not even look me in the eye as she was telling me which clothes they were going to purchase from me. As I was waiting for her to hand me cash she started laughing at another worker and saying rude comments about her as she was talking to a customer. Then another coworker came up to her and said " is this the bin with those shoes that I wanted?" she proceeded to laugh at her and say " nobody wants those ugly ass shoes anyways" as I was still standing right there. Then she didn't even acknowledge the transaction was done. I was standing there waiting for her to tell me that I was good to go. She just walked away, so I grabbed my things and walked out. I genuinely have never experienced something that rude in my entire life. She was horrible.
