Savers used to be the spot for super deals but now, not so much. I recently went to browse for books and pants for my nephew and left with just a few books. The prices for kids clothes were not good, I can get better deals at Walmart and those clothes are new. They have self check out registers and the employee assisting customers in that was super friendly and helpful. Out of all the Savers in the Las Vegas/Henderson area this one is my favorite. They seem to have the nicest things.

I've always enjoyed finding unique vintage items here, and the staff is fantastic, but the store has a strong, unpleasant smell that's hard to ignore. When I visited today, it was overwhelming, and I'm not sure what's causing it (it smells like human feces) . The floors were also noticeably dirty. I used to come here often a few years ago, and the experience was much better back then. Now, prices feel way too high, and the smell makes it difficult to shop comfortably. I hardly ever come here anymore but when I do, I always seem to walk out with a few gems. When they used to have the 99 cent Mondays, me and my family were here every week! But they got rid of that long before the recession hit. What a bummer because more than half of my work wardrobe came from this place! Besides that, there are still deals to be had if you're willing to search for them. The furniture prices are pretty darn good, and so are the appliances. It's definitely not like a typical thrift store where things are scattered about and you have to dig through piles. The operations manager is a terribly rude little man , who other employees were complaining about to my husband because we go to multiple thrifts often . I could care less , until his bitchiness turned on me , because they were so empty and bored , he was paying too much attention to me .The employees were lamenting about their lack of hours and rude management. I know they also don't get paid fairly . It's not fair because Savers is greedy and for profit . They give less than 10% of profits to any charity , but they can't shut up about being a charity the whole time you're in the store on their commercial loudspeaker ! The restrooms are discusting and the floors in the store are filthy. I'm so disappointed that this location has gone way down hill. Some of the other locations are kept in much better condition. The selection seems to be very poor as well. They need to rotate there stock with other stores in order to attract more clients. If I could give this location 0 stars I would, customer service is terrible ! Easily the worst employee interaction I've ever had. Everything started off fine until I wanted to buy a Christmas tree (that had a price tag on it) but because they just decorated it yesterday they were trying to talk me out of buying it, I even offered to take the ornaments off for them. Once we came to agreement of me buying the tree (I was super kind this entire time). When I was taking the ornaments off this lady (white old lady probably in her 60s I believe she has glasses) (December 13th around 7pm) she was complaining trying to make me feel bad while im doing her job saying remarks like "it took 45 minutes to decorate yesterday" like okay ? It took me 2 minutes to take down and when I brought it home about 15 minutes TOTAL to bring in the house and fully decorate so you should also be concerned as to why this took you 45 minutes and acting like 45 minutes is a crazy amount of time either way acting like it took 5 days to decorate. Also sayin comments like "it's almost Christmas like cmon" meaning what ? I'm too late ? Why are u making this experience so terrible for me ? Don't you want the company you work for to make money ? Clearly not. I was spoken to as if I was the problem for trying to buy an item that was clearly being showcased. Most concerning is that this employee seriously needs to work on her people skills. Customer-facing roles require basic communication, patience, and respect, all of which were missing here. The way she handled the situation was unnecessarily confrontational and completely avoidable. If staff are allowed to make up rules based on personal feelings toward store inventory, management needs to step in. This experience ruined the visit and left a lasting negative impression. Let me start off by saying first my parents went to Goodwill to donate and the 2 nice gentlemen that helped them were so nice and helpful, they thanked them twice for donating. My parents went in to Savers today at 2:10 to donate and they are regretting this decision. The young guy in the front that was taking donations was in a bad mood, didn't look happy to be there and didn't thank my parents at all or seem to want to help them. This was such a bad experience for them, they will not be donating to this Savers again. Anyone interested in doing a good deed I would suggest going anywhere else. Savers do better!! I go here pretty often but was really disappointed in the way my transaction went today. I purchased some clothes, about $34 worth to try for a 90s party....with no dressing rooms available now, I unfortunately had to buy everything and then try on the pieces at home! Of course to my luck, nothing fit. Darn it, but it was okay because I could exchange it. NO RETURNS FOR REFUND. Their new policy is only exchanges and the exchange has to be done AT THE SAME TIME of the return. So if you're planning on returning, make sure you have the time because you also need to shop right away!! Any other day that would be fine, I would do it on the way back home BUT I got really sick with that respiratory issue going around, got COVID and was out for over 2 weeks. Obviously barely able to breathe, I had no time to stand in the store and shop for my returns. I finally made it in today, 4 days past their return timeframe, hoping I could exchange my items which were all still tagged. I was immediately met with a NO it was past policy and while I could pull up my hospital bill as proof, I unfortunately had to just donate the items and put my return purchases back because they wouldn't let me exchange. Thankfully it was only $30 bucks spent but mad that was really disheartening especially because their new return/exchange policy of having to do everything in one go, made it difficult for me to come in. I had given up on thrifting a long time ago. But I recently decided to give it a go again. I had about 300 dvds that I wanted to donate, & I knew that savers gives you 20% off for donating. After donating, I wasn't given a receipt or anything, just the coupon. I ended up buying a few books and glasses that came out to over $50 after the discount, which wouldn't even be a deal without it. While shopping I seen glasses for $3 that came from the dollar tree. And I know this for a fact because I have the glasses myself. This is a business that literally profits more than the manufacturers and the original sellers, and they are supposed to cater to those with a low income or on a budget.They barely pay their employeees, and they donate very little to a non profit which I'm sure they get back on taxes. This is the definition of greed. You could charge decent prices and still be a millionaire, but why when you can take advantage of people and make even more money that you have no way of spending. read more

This is by far our favorite thrift store! For years we have been able to find great deals. They have different sales. Mondays are 50% off everything, Tuesdays 30% for seniors, and the rest of the week they pick a color tag and also discount those items. You can even find brand new stuff with tags. It's got a nice assortment of items, often lots of furniture and bedding curtains, and shoes. I usually go for magazines but I always end up finding shoes here and I recently found these Lisa frank shoes I love! Also a cute pink sheer pearl detailed dress, as well as a fun clear transparent tote bag with confetti in side! Another thing I like to shop for at savers are bags, they have a nice wall full of bags of all sizes from wallets to backpacks and purses in between. I try to avoid the allure of the clothes bc there is so much of it! I have found a nice amount of options ranging in all sizes. They also have a nice cases section of jewelry and toys for kids. Back when I lived in Southern California I used to love shopping at my local Savers (which was literally located within walking distance from my house) so I was beyond excited to find this Savers here when I moved out to Henderson! The selection for women's clothing can be hit or miss depending on the season. I've scored a few dresses, blouses, and skirts that I wear pretty regularly for under $10 each (some even under $5!). I typically comb through the racks for professional wear or lounge-y bottoms and I've been pretty satisfied with the items I've found. A lot of Forever 21, H&M, and Express with the occasional Ann Taylor or Loft among various other brands. Every Savers is organized by type of clothing (outerwear, dresses, shirts, jeans, etc) and then by size, which makes things relatively easy to find especially if you know exactly what you need/are looking for. Tips: Try everything on! Check for stains, loose threads, and account for all the buttons and decorative features. Everything is 50% off on Mondays! We will be attending an expo in June that is cosplay so we found a Savers here in Henderson that we did not know existed. Yeah! This Savers is so large that we lost track of time while we were in here. It seems to have everything that one needs to get their cosplay on. We found what we were seeking to finish the costumes l, now I get to sew and put the final touches on each outfit. This store is so organized and when we visited it was half off orange tags and realized that half way thru shopping. We found a lot of deal here such as they seem to bag there frames and most of what was for sale was orange so I ended up with 8 new frames for about 3.00 . The frames were really nice too. The staff is so friendly here too and so are the customers observing everyone's space and waiting for the proper time to go into the fitting room in a nice orderly fashion. Not my favorite out of the savers in the Vegas areas. The older woman who runs the self checkouts, with the really short dark hair, Needs customer service lessons. I've seen her be rude to elderly people who've never used a self check before. And when she directs people to registers, she just gestures in the direction, which would be fine except that if you don't go to the exact one she's wanting you to, then she yells loudly that you're at the wrong one. Honestly, it shouldn't matter. Send the next customer to the one you want them to instead of waisting time yelling about which one each person should be at. Seriously reconsider whose running the front on a sales day, someone with patience and better manners. read more

I used to love coming to this Savers, but after today I won't come back. Lisa disrespected my mother and talked down to her. My mother had over paid on the self checkout machines. Machines can make mistakes. We asked for help and the employee Lisa started to talk over my mother and created her own version of the story. My mother is disabled and a person of color. Lisa came off very prejudice until I stepped in and told her to stop being rude. I told her my mom is just trying to tell her what happened but you won't let her because your talking over her. Lisa kept talking over her and told me she is trying to help me do the math. Lisa shouldn't be on the floor but sorting in the back. She lacks customer service, kindness, and being patient with elderly people. This is unacceptable because she is working with people of many different backgrounds. I shop at Savers because I love vintage jewelry and clothing. I won't be back. I can't stand people being rude to the elderly, disabled, and to people of color. I love this place!!!!! I especially love it on Monday when the whole store is 50% off!!!! They have a wide range of items to choose from and you never know what they will have because of the amount of new items they get in daily. The management is outstanding! The only issue I have is the clothes. The prices on certain clothes items is a little over priced. I buy star wars and comic book type tshirts and they are usually marked up alot higher than all the other shirts. Other than that all the prices are very reasonable. I buy tons of toys for my daughter and everything else I can think of. I will continue to come here all the time read more
