They always look up at the customers coming in, but not once have they ever greeted me, or anyone that I've noticed. It's so odd, and unwelcoming. I was walking around today and one woman kept looking at me, not saying a word. I finally asked her name because this has been my experience with her any time I come in. Her name is Lynn. Instead of staring at customers, greet them, maybe ask if they're finding everything okay? Literally anything but what is happened right now. I like to go there when I'm looking for something I can't find anywhere else and wouldn't you know it...I found vitamins there, makeup wipes, and really great value, clothing, and other things. I love to look around in here at all the seasonal items they've got a lot of really unique finds in here. I do not like going up and down aisles looking through the clothes, however that always made me a little bit nervous when my kids were younger because they would hide inside the clothes racks and that just brings back memories. Now that they're older, they actually like shopping here, too. Must be hereditary or something my mom instilled in us lol:) My Daughter was with me and she found a really cute pair of Juicy Couture stretch pants.. she wasn't sure on the size so she went to try them on. The woman who works at the fitting rooms was so so sweet and kind. It was a Sunday early afternoon. Had a very nice conversation with her while I waited and she really made my day just how kind she was and I appreciated that so much! Although I spend over $200 every trip. June 27, 2026 around 19:20 I came to shop here and was followed... again. So instead of taking my time browsing through every aisle until something caught my attention I decided to wrap up my shopping and go. I already had swimming goggles that I initially came there for so I decided to keep them and head to the line. I made my purchase and headed out. At the same exact time I was leaving a couple skipped past the line and sped walked right out the door with a cart full of clothes and nobody batted an eye. Did I mention it to the staff? Had a pleasant chat with a sales person about shopping for a Father's Day gift, it was helpful. Once I found the item, made an effort to look for their register to make the purchase. This could be considered a luxury garment, it's a special occasion & thought it'ld be nice to have a garment bag for the present. When asked, the team member excused themselves and returned with the gift enclosed in a dry cleaners type, flimsy plastic bag knotted at the bottom. I was a bit puzzled since the person seems to be professional and understood. When asked again, they checked w' another team member & returned with the comment more or less: "that kind of bag could not be given to me because of that kind of spend..." The tone was different and seemed discourteous. In a normal way asked how much I could purchase one for. I'ld like to say that I wasn't asking based on the retail or the final sales price of the garment (good value), it was from what I thought was a conversation about me finding a cool gift. During 20+ years as a purchasing customer, haven't needed anything like this so thought it was a reasonable ask. It was suggested that I could go to customer service, maybe they could provide one, but were not sure? I would've preferred a simple no thank you, that's not available rather than the snarky, condescending remark. Be the sparkles that others need in life. Now as an individual for example "I can be!" I get to be the shine! I get to be the shine because of Betsy Johnson and her passion for creating gorgeous works of wow. They sell here at Dillards now Betsy. Her whimsical and wonderful voice can be found in all her creations. Each piece either a beautiful bag or pair of sneakers with shiny sparkles all over them is unique. The staff members in the shoe department were more than happy to help us out we just fell in love with the sparkling new sneakers. After wearing these time after time, an amazing pair of shoes. No aches nor pain. In fact for seven dollars extra they cost the shoe with some sort of protective spray to make it look more shiny and appealing . After wearing the sparkling sneakers from Betsy Johnson to "When we are Young," no issues came to be . No blisters of any sort . The cashier assured us that his wife loves Betsy too and they are not just glitz and glam but practical for every day if needed . You can find it at Dillards . We were just out looking and found a new bag. Or a new bag found me . And those sparkly shoes. They are just too cute. My inner child loves these shoes as we sparkle and shine now the world can see it glimmer too.

I had a really upsetting experience at Marshalls today at around 7:45 PM involving one of their…read morestore credit card applications. At checkout, the sales associate was very pushy about getting me to apply for the Marshalls/TJX credit card so I could get 10% off, even though I repeatedly showed that I was unwilling and hesitant to do it. I specifically told her that I am currently getting a loan for a car and that I absolutely could not afford to have a hard inquiry on my credit right now. I made that concern very clear to her, and she flat out told me, "It's a soft pull." I also told her that my credit isn't great and that I probably wouldn't even get approved. She told me that was okay and said I would still get the 10% discount anyway. Despite my reluctance, she kept pushing the application, and based on her reassurance that it was only a soft pull, I finally gave in and applied. Well, I wasn't approved, I didn't get the 10% discount, and when I got home I discovered that I DID get a hard inquiry on my credit. So yes, my sucker ass fell for all of this over a little discount. I should have trusted my instincts and just said no. Lesson learned -- I will never fall for this again. What really bothers me is that I specifically explained why I could not have a hard inquiry. I told her I was getting a car loan and could not risk another inquiry. Had she told me the truth that applying could result in a hard pull, I would never have agreed to submit the application. Employees should not be pressuring reluctant customers into applying for credit while giving them inaccurate information about how the application will affect their credit. I will be contacting Marshalls/TJX corporate and the credit card issuer regarding this incident, and I also plan to look into reporting it to the appropriate consumer protection agencies. This type of sales tactic is completely unacceptable.

Like most of the stores in the TJX family, don't come here if you need help because there won't be a soul to assist you, they are all too busy staffing a register or putting out even more things on the shelves that are bursting at the seams as it is. But I was able to score some silicon whisks (don't use metal ones on your cookware!), dish drying mats, and some other things that I really did "need." Despite the lack of service, I was able to check some items off my list at a good price, so I really can't complain too much!
