I would give this store a 0 if I could. On New Year's Eve, my wife bought a pair of heels --super cute, $50, we were excited. The problem? The box had TWO DIFFERENT SIZES. Same shoe, but one of them was way bigger than the size 7 she paid for. That's not a "preference issue," that's a quality control failure. We called the store within the SAME HOUR of purchase to explain the situation and asked if we could simply exchange the ONE incorrect shoe for the correct size. Their response? "No, sorry, all sales are final." Let's be very clear: "All sales are final" should NOT apply when THE STORE MADE THE MISTAKE. It is literally their responsibility to check the box before selling it. Instead, we were told tough luck and sent on our way with a useless mismatched pair of shoes. It honestly feels like the "all sales are final" policy exists because they already know their products and checks are sloppy. We didn't change our mind. We didn't damage anything. We were sold a defective product and denied basic customer service. So now we're out $50 for one wearable shoe thanks for that. If you shop here, check the box before you leave, because once you walk out the door, they clearly don't care what MISTAKE THEY made. read more

Was a while ago, but I had one bad experience with the so-called manager, that was very scary and completely unexpected. However, I have been there since then and I have not seen that so-called manager. The issue was they were about to close. I was escorted to the dressing room to try on a few outfits, when I was leaving the young lady that was assisting me, forgot I was in the dressing room and closed it off; I had a little trouble getting out. When I did get out something nasty was said; I responded and it got a bit uglier...was very rude and we had a few words and the; so-called manager chimed in and she was completely nasty about the situation. The whole problem was they closed off everything while I was still in the dressing room and when I came out, they were irritated and we had words And the so-called Manager was very rude about it, and I was feeling intimidated because I was the only customer in the store and all three of them surrounded me while the tension was still looming in the air and I found myself feeling intimidated. The so-called manager actually said a some rude and disturbing things to me. And; I did feel like I wanted to bring my daughter's there so that they could see, you don't disrespect someone's parent! You can be handled with in the same manner. Intimidation and ganging up on somebody is not a good idea at your workplace. However, since then I believe that "so called, manager" little girl is no longer there...in fact, there is quite a few different faces when I stopped by; I love the Store prior to that negative situation. I was treated very fairly and very respectfully. I have a good feeling about the store now; so I continue to stop by once in a while when I'm the area. I'd say I haven't been in hotties now for maybe 2 1/2 to 3 years so if I'm looking for something different, I might stop by hotties, but lately I have not visited the store. I checked this locations hours on Wednesday evening, it says they close at 9:00PM, so I called before making the drive, just to make sure they were open, when the girl answered the phone and I asked what time they close, she said, "ummmmm tonight we close at 7:45, so in about 15 minutes".. it took her a minute to think about it, clearly you can tell she was lying and didn't want anyone going into the store so she made up a time, close to when I called which was at 7:28PM. This location is awful. They are way overpriced but in a pinch it could be a quick save... except for the fact that they locked the door on me twice. Needed an outfit for an event and both days I had a one hour window to grab something. This is definitely one of the worst women's clothing stores I've ever been to, but it's great when you need a quick outfit. Everyone is right; The employees seem to follow you around everywhere, but when you need a dressing room, it takes five minutes to find someone. The clothing is heavily overpriced, I mean most of it is priced 4 times what it's worth oar elsewhere. The employees were generally pretty nice to me, but I also didn't ask questions or need assistance in anything for that matter. The other locations I went to, they weren't that bad. But the employees are the least of my worries. The store is so dirty, and the dressing room is disgusting. The return policy is laughable, unlike anything I've ever seen. But when you sell cheap, low quality clothes at top dollar, a return policy would put them out of business. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! I am a frequent shopper at hottie but today I had a horrible experience with Selena who is one of the "store supervisers". I am very aware of their store policy. Exchanges only or full return in 3 days on credit card. Yesterday I purchased two skirts, I drove home and realized i had grabbed the wrong sizes so I immediately put them back in the bag 30 seconds later. I drove it back to Hottie today within 24 hours of the original purchase. Selena would not return or even exchange my Item. She said their was a black dot on the skirt. I did not see any damage and the tag was still attached to my item. It clearly hasn't been worn and it was all within the stores policy within 24hrs but she refused to do anything for me. Cute little shop for girl's clothes. There are a lot of options. I spent an hour or so here the other day trying on a bunch of different clothes and I was able to get a few really cute dresses. The store has style and the clothes seem to be current. They seem to have a lot of club type dresses/outfits, but there is a fair amount of options for someone that doesn't want/need to show so much skin. The clothes are pretty inexpensive, and the quality is about the same. It's a great place for someone that likes diversity in their closet, but doesn't exactly have the budget that goes with it. One issue is that they have a no return policy, so it is important to make sure that you really want something. They will do store credit. Shop with care. read more

I never give bad reviews and it seems I'm not the only one that's fell victim to their new return policy. I have given this store many chances time and time again. I've finally reached my limit. These are trying times we're living through and despite the dressing rooms being closed they're only offering refunds if you use a credit card. Debit automatically gets store credit. I was simply trying to support local businesses because of covid. Unfortunately I will not be supporting this store any longer. I was told by a sweet sales associate that I had 3 days to return clothes and that Thanksgiving didn't count. To my surprise apparently the day you BUY clothes counts as the first day to return so HEADS UP they give you 2 days to return. And don't try to ask for an exception or a manager because they'll claim no one is available and there's "nothing they can do". I was shocked to be treated this way over and over. Customer service is a big thing for me... so walking in and passing the same employee three times without a single "hello", "welcome", "anything I can help you find", or a even a smile, is a big no-no. The only reason this store got two stars is because of it's neatness and small possibility of NEEDING to come here to find something to wear to the club -- which is rare. Like I said, it's neat and organized in there. Club attire and casual dresses/rompers on one side, casual shirts and shorts on the other side, shoes & dressing rooms in the back, and accessories in the middle. I've been shopping at different locations since I was in high school. The customer service has always sucked, but somehow I typically find some random good finds that most people miss. Their usual return policy is exchange or store credit only with no refunds ever. Since covid, fitting rooms are still closed - which I totally respect. Currently they have a return policy that allows refunds if you purchase with a card and make the return within 3 days - ok great! So, I went to the Grand Canyon location which clearly has better customer service over all the locations in the valley. I had an item that didn't fit well that I just wanted to return. Per my receipt, my purchase was made on 5/14 @4:44pm which to most normal people that can count would say 5/17 would be day 3. I arrived at the Eastern location to return my item for a refund and was told that 5/16 would have been the last day for return. Excuse me... that makes zero sense. Ma'am that would be two days. I asked for a manager and she told me the same thing. I called another location - my original location and they told me that doesn't make sense 5/17 is 3 days from 5/14. I asked if she would call Eastern as I was on the other side of town. I was called back and told the manager has the ability to make up her own rules. I planned my days accordingly to follow their guidelines. As a consumer, how should I know they make different rules for different locations. Walked in here looking for a cute skirt for my birthday dinner. First thing that caught my attention was the really weird smell. It was like foul cleaner and BO. Totally gross. Sucked it up and looked around since they had some cute clothes. Nothing is really in any kind of order, so I literally circled the store 3 times and found skirts in different places each time. Kind of bothersome to me. I never spoke to anyone and none of the employees spoke to me. I wasn't in the mood to chitchat, but it didn't look like they approached ANY customers. So heads up for those who don't like to ask for help. Quality of fabric isn't spectacular on most garments, and seems like it wouldn't last too many washings - unless you hand-washed it perhaps. I went in this afternoon to buy a gift for my sister because she loves the clothes here. I needed help choosing an outfit and the one staff member was very helpful and sweet. She really made it a point to ask me what kind of styles and colors my sister liked. I wish I would've got her name. She had really big beautiful hazel eyes and brown hair.
