That's always one of my favorite things to browse through this time of year. Always very nice to look around inside the store with so many different departments for your everyday shopping needs make it a great experience just about every time. The store is a good place to get some summer exercise too with it being so large you definitely get your walking steps in. And before you leave I love that this location has an in store Starbucks --The aroma of the coffee lingers throughout the store and really makes a statement....and a Target mini mart for quick access to premade sandwiches, snacks, fresh fruit cups, Target slushees and fresh popped popcorn boxes to go. Lastly, this is my go to for easy pick up outside for online ordering that is super easy from the Target app you can download on your phone. This service always saves me a ton of time and is very convenient. This Target location is located on Eastern Ave and Silverado Ranch on cusp of Henderson in the South Fork shopping plaza.

I made my way around to get some groceries and ran into the lady from the door when I was looking for the hair dye. Since they didn't have the dye, I went to put everything back, and I ran into her again. I bought a 24 pack of pepsi and as I am walking towards the exit, she appeared again and asked to see my receipt for the 24 pack of pepsi, but I just kept walking. Tell your people at the door that they are not security, Loss Prevention and Theft is the responsibility of AP and Management, not the associate at the door.

If you really need to spoil those you love they have an In and Out burger too. Let the animal adventures begin. One thing that the parking lot is lacking is safety. While many cross walk are identifiable and signs are visible many drivers do not seem to stop or acknowledge these signs. As a driver we sometimes get lost in the confusion of our day and our own lives. We must be vigilant to ensure not to cause accidents because we are paying attention elsewhere. We all have our lives that we must live, but make sure and ensure that we take into account others individuals safety. It's an average Friday night, you have errands to run. You should always be aware of what's right around the corner. At any time someone can come right out in front of you disrupting their lives and yours. It takes two seconds to slow down. My son Connor, was the casualty of such a terrible tragedy. While out being a young adult visiting his sister in this parking lot, he found himself at the crossroads of a crosswalk where two people made irresponsible decisions. As a pedestrian you are a moving target. On this Friday even, a young mother and her two children struck this boy leaving him going to the hospital. My sons accident is not the first time that a young child went to the hospital because a driver struck them. We all need to be vigilant in our pursuit for getting all our "stuff" done. By slowing down and not speeding can ensure the enhancement of someone else's life. You only have an hour to complete your tasks, if you strike someone you will be delayed even longer. It takes two seconds to stop at a cross walk and wait for the person to cross. We live in a digital realm that sometimes it's hard to focus on reality. When driving, just drive. Focus on the road and all that is around you. Be careful not to injure or interfere with someone else's quality of life by taking away their advantage or ability to perform their daily life activities. Connor will heal in time. This rang his little bell but did it really have to happen. Life lessons are lessons to be learned. Be aware that you never know always give the right away to those that are walking, biking, and scooting along.

This is the closest HomeGoods to me and I was looking for two things: A paper towel holder, and a hook to hang a kitchen towel on a cabinet. I came up empty on both fronts. While the store easily had 100 cutting boards, they had exactly one paper towel holder and it wasn't what I was looking for. There was a staff person in the area, but she focused solely on stocking the already overflowing shelves instead of assisting anyone. I did find some salt and pepper grinders, so it wasn't a total waste, but it's mind-boggling that a store with "home" in the title doesn't really carry paper towel holders.

This particular Homegoods is located in one of the many shopping centers on this main strip in Henderson. Inside is all kinds of edible things, nick nacks, glassware, plates, decoration items, holiday goods, furniture, linens, towels, tablecloths, pet toys, pet treats, and MORE! Near the entrance I saw a fun llama bench and some decorative giant toadstools or mushrooms. They had at least three rows of edible things. I found the pink Himalayan Sea Salt Chunks I was looking for. I also saw very expensive imported boxes of chocolates. (one box was $60.) They had so many chocolates and lots of fun different snacks I never saw anywhere else. I also enjoyed looking at all the fun decor. Checking out was easy and efficient. (unlike the Ross by me that could have been at least an hour)

I had a really upsetting experience at Marshalls today at around 7:45 PM involving one of their…read morestore credit card applications. At checkout, the sales associate was very pushy about getting me to apply for the Marshalls/TJX credit card so I could get 10% off, even though I repeatedly showed that I was unwilling and hesitant to do it. I specifically told her that I am currently getting a loan for a car and that I absolutely could not afford to have a hard inquiry on my credit right now. I made that concern very clear to her, and she flat out told me, "It's a soft pull." I also told her that my credit isn't great and that I probably wouldn't even get approved. She told me that was okay and said I would still get the 10% discount anyway. Despite my reluctance, she kept pushing the application, and based on her reassurance that it was only a soft pull, I finally gave in and applied. Well, I wasn't approved, I didn't get the 10% discount, and when I got home I discovered that I DID get a hard inquiry on my credit. So yes, my sucker ass fell for all of this over a little discount. I should have trusted my instincts and just said no. Lesson learned -- I will never fall for this again. What really bothers me is that I specifically explained why I could not have a hard inquiry. I told her I was getting a car loan and could not risk another inquiry. Had she told me the truth that applying could result in a hard pull, I would never have agreed to submit the application. Employees should not be pressuring reluctant customers into applying for credit while giving them inaccurate information about how the application will affect their credit. I will be contacting Marshalls/TJX corporate and the credit card issuer regarding this incident, and I also plan to look into reporting it to the appropriate consumer protection agencies. This type of sales tactic is completely unacceptable.

Like most of the stores in the TJX family, don't come here if you need help because there won't be a soul to assist you, they are all too busy staffing a register or putting out even more things on the shelves that are bursting at the seams as it is. But I was able to score some silicon whisks (don't use metal ones on your cookware!), dish drying mats, and some other things that I really did "need." Despite the lack of service, I was able to check some items off my list at a good price, so I really can't complain too much!

I ordered two PS5 games for delivery along with a bottle of soap. During delivery, the soap opened and leaked all over the game cases and, more importantly, got inside the games themselves. The games were obviously damaged and unusable. I contacted customer service and spoke directly with a manager. I explained exactly what happened, and the manager told me that I could throw the damaged items away or donate them and that I would receive a refund. Based on that instruction from a Walmart manager, I did exactly what I was told and disposed of the damaged items. A few days later, I received an email stating that I needed to return the items in order to receive my refund. At that point, the items were already gone because I had followed the manager's explicit instructions. I contacted customer service again and explained the situation. Despite the fact that I was following the instructions given to me by their own manager, I was told they would not issue the refund because I could no longer return the items. So let me understand this: Walmart damaged my merchandise, a manager told me I could dispose of it and would receive a refund, I followed those instructions in good faith, and then Walmart changed its position afterward and left me without the merchandise or my money. The most frustrating part isn't even the original delivery mistake. Mistakes happen. It's the fact that I relied on what a Walmart manager told me, only to have the company later refuse to honor what I was promised. After years of shopping here, this experience has completely changed how I feel about Walmart. I shouldn't have to worry that following customer service's instructions will leave me stuck with the loss. They've lost a longtime customer over what should have been a straightforward customer-service issue. I'll be doing my best to shop elsewhere going forward. Extremely disappointing experience.

And the answer is...slightly. The store is definitely in better shape and much more organized. But while the ones in Wisconsin were cluttered and ramshackle, this location is sparse, with some shelves nearly empty. Also disappointing was that some marked down merchandise such as tumblers were clearly defective and should have been disposed of instead of marked down. All that being said, I did get a great deal on a paper towel holder (despite HomeGoods having zero such items at their location) and a cup for my mom. I'm not likely to run out and stop here again but if I was in the area with time to kill, I might consider it.
