We are huge fans of Daiso and even though we have one close to us in Chandler, AZ, we never fail to visit one of the stores near my dad in Vegas. This most recent trip was no different. We are also huge AFOLs - Adult Fans Of Lego. So we needed some of the plastic containers we can only find at Daiso to store and sort our bulk Lego purchases from our trip. We love that the stores have mostly converted to self-checkouts. We usually get a plastic storage container or two and then put the other purchases inside them. This store was about 15 minutes from my dad's house and was clean, well-stocked, and had a friendly staff. We will definitely return on our next trip to the area. If you have never been to one you should give them a try. Best way to describe them is an Asian Dollar Store/Five Below. Some pricier items but overall great values. read more

Well, besides office supplies, Daiso has cute merchandise, kitchen gadgets, household items, bags, utensils, pet toys, snacks, paper goods, etc. I actually found a pair of bunny socks... and some Easter decor. First time shopping here and had so much fun. This is like a higher priced Japanese dollar store with the cutest merchandise . I'm a Hello Kitty fan and they have so much merchandise to pick from so i was in heaven . They have something here for every aspect of life. Snacks yo eat, arts and crafts, kitchen gadgets, planting goods, slippers socks and flip flops , school supplies, makeup and so much more. We happened to be in the area and decided to stop into the Daiso because my husband was looking for something in particular. Of course, he couldn't find what he needed, but I ended up purchasing quite a few items I do not need. The store is organized fairly well, but it is a bit overwhelming and there are items and sections that don't seem to make sense but I do like the way things are laid out in this location. I will say that they have a great selection, with a wide variety of items to choose from. Pricing is great here as well, but understand that these are mostly mass produced, cheaper quality things that aren't really meant to last a lifetime, although some can. The people working in this store were helpful when needed but pretty much leave you alone if you don't engage with them. I like self check out so I was fine not engaging at all. I like the food section in this location. There seems to be a lit of snacks and drinks, and I was even able to stock up on my chili oil. read more

Talked about a cute discount store!! Just so I don't forget to tell you but if you don't want to pay .20 cents per bag when checking out bring your own bag. Also, I was told by the cashier that "ALL SALES ARE FINAL." I have driven by this store a few times & didn't have a clue what it was so of course I went onto Yelp to check it out & the pictures I had seen drew me in so I stopped in here yesterday. The prices were a little confusing @ first. There are little price signs that tell you if a price isn't listed then it was a certain price, I think most stuff was $1.75. If an item didn't cost that amount it had price codes or should I say prices in Japanese (I believe) but even then prices are still reasonable here. There is a ton of cute stuff in here. Snacks, noodles, holiday decorations, they even had some Halloween stuff that was marked down by 75%. I ended up getting these spooky skull ghosts wearing black caps that I'm going to hang above my garage door next year for only .81 cents each!! That's even cheaper then the Dollar Tree. They had storage containers in a bunch of different sizes, kitchen stuff, sponges, hair accessories, makeup, nail polish, gift bags, notebooks, car stuff & knick knacks to name a few. Terrible customer service. I bought batteries here, but realized right away that they were the wrong size. When I asked a Filipino female staff member to exchange them for the correct size, she refused, claiming it was a "final sale"--something never mentioned at the time of purchase. It felt completely unfair. To make matters worse, she treated me incredibly rudely, basically making me feel like I should just get out. I am planning to report this store to the BBB of Southern Nevada and Nevada Consumer Affairs. I will never shop here again. read more

Alrighty last minute Christmas shoppers! You want to keep your cool Aunty status, come here for your one stop shop for those stocking stuffers. Sanrio, Disney, lot kawaii stuff! There's popular snack items too! How I know about Daiso, comes via from Tina at Nailology, who always had the cutest nail station! Whenever she would go to L.A. she'd get me Hello Kitty stuff. Everything is cheap and that's why it's known as the Japanese dollar store. Now years later Daiso is here in Henderson, right next to Seafood City Market. Grand opening was last weekend so this location is still #hotandnew. The space and layout is almost like their retail competitor, Miniso to a T! Narrow aisles and crammed shelves floor to ceiling. I arrived just after they opened at 10am, not too many customers but still tricky to maneuver with boxes blocking the aisles . Not gonna whine though because I found everything I needed and MORE but spent less than $35 for 4 stockings! My haul included My Melody, Winnie the Pooh, Pocky, Caplico ice cream cones, serverware, kitchenwares and a cold bottle of Hojicha tea! Tips: Hit the snack aisle first! (to your left as you walk in) The chips that you can only get in Japan are the first to get wiped out. I noticed that's what the young adults did, scooped up and stuffed their baskets ..so by the time I got around to that aisle I was pretty much SOL on the chips. ALSO snap a photo of the price chart. It will be easier for you to refer to. I found myself trying to figure how much stuff was because the price charts are not found in every aisle. Majority of items are 1.75! If you don't want to spend 20 cents on a shopping bag, bring one with you. There are self-serve registers but after watching someone trying to figure their way working the scanner, then it only takes chipped card, and you still need cashier assistance if you need a bag, so I stayed in the line and waited my turn for the cashier lol...the line went quicker to wait even though there's only one cashier ..if that's what it takes to keep costs and prices down, then I'll deal with minor inconveniences for a good deal! Daiso Henderson? Yes, please! Location: Trader Joe's parking lot next to Seafood City. Good size location. I love the variety of items that they have and the stock change's seasonally. Everything starts at $1.75 and goes up from there. Good quality storage options too! I buy gifts, bath goods, stocking stuffers, snacks and stuffed animals here. This is probably my most favorite Daiso location in the valley. It's usually always stocked with all the best goodies and often different options than the Rainbow/215 and Summerlin location. The place is not too big but what I like about this place is that it's spacious, stocked, but also very organized. There's plenty of workers to ask if you need and they are usually sweet and helpful as well. This location is also only self- checkout but they've got 4-5 spots so the line never goes too long because there's plenty of spots. The other locations usually have 2 cashier stations and 1-2 self checkout which at most times are actually not avail. This location is next to Seafood City on Horizon Ridge and Eastern as the biggest street crossings. Can be easily missed because it's tucked away in a corner b ur certainly just look for Seafood City and you'll be good to go! Lastly, all their items are at a steal and value because the prices are so cheap but quality is not bad as well + they have literally so much useful items you didn't even think existed. Although the place is cute and has great deals, the store gives an unwelcoming atmosphere. In every aisle you're in -- the workers constantly stand directly next to you giving no room to freely shop or browse. It gives the feeling that they're trying to rush you out of the store. I wish we had a Daiso in Florida, especially I our hometown in Orlando. This place is the cross between a Dollar General meets Asian market. Staff are friendly and they have a huge variety of products from household items like utensils and knives to stuffed animals and chips. You would definitely need to grab a basket to fill. I love Sanrio and got some adorable sandwich and snack bags with different characters while my mom got delicate laundry bags and an electric whisk. Let me start by saying that I love Daiso. I made it a point to visit a Daiso every single time I went to California. So when this location opened up close to home, I was super stoked. I know I could have just gone to the other location on Rainbow, but honestly I was just lazy to make the drive. If you've never been to a Daiso, think of it like a more expensive Dollar Tree, but Asian stuff. I don't know if that makes sense, but it does to me, so there's my explanation. They have a bunch of stuff, from toys, to cosmetics, to cleaning products, Asian snacks, etc. You can definitely find some unique gifts here. Prices range from $1.50 to some items being like $11. There are price conversion charts around the store if you aren't sure how much an item is. So anyway, I was really excited to visit the store while I had some free time. I walked in and the store is super tiny. Every Daiso location I have been to (which is a lot), was much larger than this one. The aisles are very cramped and you are constantly having to say excuse me. A lot of the shelves were still empty and boxes of merchandise were everywhere. I had heard an employee say they have been open for a month. I think that is a sufficient amount of time to stock a store (especially one that size.) I ended up purchasing a few things and when I went to check out, the cashier asked if I wanted to purchase a bag for 20 cents. Are we in California now charging for bags? Luckily, it was only a few things so I just put them in my purse. Not a great first impression, but whatever. I waited a couple weeks and paid them another visit before I went shopping next door at Seafood City. Once again, there were still boxes of merchandise in the already cramped aisles. It was busier during this visit compared to my last, so I was having to wait to get into some aisles. I didn't really see anything I wanted/needed on this trip, so I left empty handed. I'm always excited visiting a Daiso and seeing what treasures I can find. But honestly, this location is just kinda sad. And I don't want to be sad walking into a place that usually makes me happy. I'm glad they opened up a daiso in the Henderson area! I heard good things about this place but never checked it out until now. I came in for the grand opening and as to be expected it was packed. This daiso is located in a huge plaza with tons of parking available. Daiso is basically like a Japanese dollar store. They had a bunch of goodies such as candy, kitchen ware, toys, snacks, stationary paper/tools, and so much more! All the employees were so friendly and helpful. I'm super excited that there's a Daiso in Henderson now! It's located to the left of At Home. The location is pretty small though but plenty of parking in the plaza. If you're a first timer, Daiso is essentially a "dollar" store for items from Japan. Prices of the items ranges from $1.00 to maybe $5.00 or more depending on the item. Selection is decent, lots of the same things I've seen at the other Daisos, but I think this one, as of it's grand opening, has pretty limited snacks. Wasn't too big of the layout and how crammed it is. There's a lot of workers walking around, at self checkout, and then at the register, in an already small space. Each "aisle" is barely wide enough for one person so if there's multiple people it gets claustrophobic :( $0.20 for a brown bag, so be prepared to bring your own if you need one! Other than that, pretty solid. Just happy one is on this side of town for small nick nacks. read more

I had heard a lot of good things about Daiso and finally went when I found out they opened one in Henderson. My cousin who recommended it has been going to the location on Rainbow Blvd. I was able to get some cute Valentines gifts for my nieces and nephews and the place didn't disappoint. It's basically a dollar store but not as big, and with Japanese products. It has a lot of cute and fun things, and also practical items. I was expecting it to be bigger and not sure if other locations are. I noticed that they charged $.20 for bags, so instead I purchased a recyclable bag for $1.00 that fit all that I bought. They have a lot of recyclable bags with lots of cool designs. The cashier was super friendly and asked if I wanted to know if any items were higher than $1.75 as she scanned them. If there is no price then the item is $1.75, otherwise there is a price listed in Japenese. There are signs that show the price conversions. I said yes out of curiosity, I actually had not been really paying attention to the prices after the first few things I picked out were a couple dollars. There are some self check-out stations as well. It was pretty busy for the small aisles on a Saturday afternoon. Employees who were stocking would not move if you wanted to get by or look at something, no acknowledgment at all. Unwelcoming atmosphere. I have shopped here a few times and one of my last purchases I went to return two items and was informed that only if the item was defective or broke could I return/ exchange. No worries. My mom bought something two weeks ago that suddenly stopped working all together so I went to return it. This daiso store on Eastern and 215 just opened up recently. The store is a vibrant fun store to go take the entire family and shop at. The prices are amazing and the selection is so much fun to look at they have some really cool knick knack items that you can even imagine owning but when you do own them they make your life a lot easier. My kids love coming here and with the prices being so great and almost the entire store being $1.75 they can get some great fun bargains shop with their own money and have a great time doing it. If you don't see a price on the item then it is $1.75 and if it has a different number like 300 or 400 then there are pricing sheets all over the store that will tell you what the amount of price that item is. You can find a great selection of Asian inspired food drinks and snacks also. They have a super great fun Disney section that has a lot of cool things for everybody. They also have a really cool and fun hello Kitty section. Even the big kids like myself enjoy going to the store and shopping and both of those sections and finding some really cool items for myself. You can really find some fun items in the store and have a great family fun memory just hanging out there with your kids and seeing all the cool items at the store has to offer. The employees are super sweet everybody's so friendly and helpful the store is open until 8:00 every night it's definitely something worth checking out. The no return no exchange policy of the company is a sign that their service and quality is not their strength. I bought foam tiles from Maryland Pkwy location and thinking they are all the same size because they are all in one stack. I got home and finding out that it is not the same fit. I went over to Rainbow Crossing location to exchange it but the manager said she can't do anything and because it is not the same store even it is the same company, she told me that I should go to Maryland location. I bought more foam tiles at their store and the same thing was about to happen because they are all mixed together,I almost bought the wrong size again. The manager helped me to make sure I get the correct size. Although the gesture of helping me was nice, she failed to correct the problem and did not accept my exchange for a worth of lees than $10. They rather lose a customer than making it right. That would be my first and last to buy to that company. read more
