We happened to be in the area and decided to stop into the Daiso because my husband was looking for something in particular. Of course, he couldn't find what he needed, but I ended up purchasing quite a few items I do not need. The store is organized fairly well, but it is a bit overwhelming and there are items and sections that don't seem to make sense but I do like the way things are laid out in this location. I will say that they have a great selection, with a wide variety of items to choose from. Pricing is great here as well, but understand that these are mostly mass produced, cheaper quality things that aren't really meant to last a lifetime, although some can. The people working in this store were helpful when needed but pretty much leave you alone if you don't engage with them. I like self check out so I was fine not engaging at all. I like the food section in this location. There seems to be a lit of snacks and drinks, and I was even able to stock up on my chili oil.

Talked about a cute discount store!! Just so I don't forget to tell you but if you don't want to pay .20 cents per bag when checking out bring your own bag. Also, I was told by the cashier that "ALL SALES ARE FINAL." I have driven by this store a few times & didn't have a clue what it was so of course I went onto Yelp to check it out & the pictures I had seen drew me in so I stopped in here yesterday. The prices were a little confusing @ first. There are little price signs that tell you if a price isn't listed then it was a certain price, I think most stuff was $1.75. If an item didn't cost that amount it had price codes or should I say prices in Japanese (I believe) but even then prices are still reasonable here. There is a ton of cute stuff in here. Snacks, noodles, holiday decorations, they even had some Halloween stuff that was marked down by 75%. I ended up getting these spooky skull ghosts wearing black caps that I'm going to hang above my garage door next year for only .81 cents each!! That's even cheaper then the Dollar Tree. They had storage containers in a bunch of different sizes, kitchen stuff, sponges, hair accessories, makeup, nail polish, gift bags, notebooks, car stuff & knick knacks to name a few. If you like bargain shopping/inexpensive stuff then you MUST check this store out! They even had a couple of self check out stations.

"Japan never considers time together as time wasted. Rather it's time invested." Time these days is a unique and rare commodity. All that is unique to Japan can be found here! Although you may not have much time these days, take advantage of some fun with someone close to you. My daughter, again, is my date that accompanies me. She provides her knowledge on all the best that Japan has to offer us here in the United States. What's your fancy? You probably could never live without any of the items here! Who knew you could have lobster erases, hot pad, ramen, and Hello Kitty all in one store. This hot new shop is a wonderful breath of joy for all things that you could of never, ever known you needed! What makes this such a happening place? These little stores are going to pop up in your neighborhood, just watch. The products they sell are incredible. This establishment is an economical powerhouse that offers around ten thousand products imported from China, Korea, and Japan. They are comparable to our counterparts of the American one dollar outlet stores. Whatever you need? Some stuff you never knew you needed are for sale. Come in and see what your missing today. As you make your way throughout the store you have such decisions to make. Do I really need this? Yes of course you do! One difference that I have noticed about this type of store, verse the American equivalent of our dollar store is the self care area. In Eastern cultures self care is paramount. You need to be at your best to be your best. What sorts of self care alternatives are available you might ask? They offer personal scrub and massage treatments for in the shower. As you begin to leave you can either self check and pay with your card or use the services of the "humans. They do not provide bags in store but they sell reusable bags for a few bucks. You can purchase a bag for an extra ten cents too or bring your own. The service is superb and excellent. New products are always available so if you see something you want it may not be their next time. Get the latest and greatest from Japan. Come and get lost and just have some fun. Lots of products are available for purchase. Some you potentially don't need but you never know. Let's see and do shopping from a different angle. Shall we!

Alrighty last minute Christmas shoppers! You want to keep your cool Aunty status, come here for your one stop shop for those stocking stuffers. Sanrio, Disney, lot kawaii stuff! There's popular snack items too! How I know about Daiso, comes via from Tina at Nailology, who always had the cutest nail station! Whenever she would go to L.A. she'd get me Hello Kitty stuff. Everything is cheap and that's why it's known as the Japanese dollar store. Now years later Daiso is here in Henderson, right next to Seafood City Market. Grand opening was last weekend so this location is still #hotandnew. The space and layout is almost like their retail competitor, Miniso to a T! Narrow aisles and crammed shelves floor to ceiling. I arrived just after they opened at 10am, not too many customers but still tricky to maneuver with boxes blocking the aisles . Not gonna whine though because I found everything I needed and MORE but spent less than $35 for 4 stockings! My haul included My Melody, Winnie the Pooh, Pocky, Caplico ice cream cones, serverware, kitchenwares and a cold bottle of Hojicha tea! Tips: Hit the snack aisle first! (to your left as you walk in) The chips that you can only get in Japan are the first to get wiped out. I noticed that's what the young adults did, scooped up and stuffed their baskets ..so by the time I got around to that aisle I was pretty much SOL on the chips. ALSO snap a photo of the price chart. It will be easier for you to refer to. I found myself trying to figure how much stuff was because the price charts are not found in every aisle. Majority of items are 1.75! If you don't want to spend 20 cents on a shopping bag, bring one with you. There are self-serve registers but after watching someone trying to figure their way working the scanner, then it only takes chipped card, and you still need cashier assistance if you need a bag, so I stayed in the line and waited my turn for the cashier lol...the line went quicker to wait even though there's only one cashier ..if that's what it takes to keep costs and prices down, then I'll deal with minor inconveniences for a good deal! Happy Holidays!

I wish we had a Daiso in Florida, especially I our hometown in Orlando. This place is the cross between a Dollar General meets Asian market. Staff are friendly and they have a huge variety of products from household items like utensils and knives to stuffed animals and chips. You would definitely need to grab a basket to fill. I love Sanrio and got some adorable sandwich and snack bags with different characters while my mom got delicate laundry bags and an electric whisk. Would definitely recommend this place for stocking stuffers for the holidays.

I love this store! I hadn't been to this location before and loved the variety of products. I was looking to grab a few items, (such great prices) especially the children training chopsticks, cups and dishes. The drink and snack options were also a good selection. There was a variety of different chip flavors, different candies and chocolates as well. Definitely worth checking out.

I'm glad they opened up a daiso in the Henderson area! I heard good things about this place but never checked it out until now. I came in for the grand opening and as to be expected it was packed. This daiso is located in a huge plaza with tons of parking available. Daiso is basically like a Japanese dollar store. They had a bunch of goodies such as candy, kitchen ware, toys, snacks, stationary paper/tools, and so much more! All the employees were so friendly and helpful. They charge twenty cents per bag at check out so be aware of that. Also, all sales are final. No exchange or returns. Overall, I had a great experience and will definitely be back.

I came here on a Sunday morning and it wasn't too busy. It is right next to seafood city. They have a bunch of snacks, office supplies, garden supplies, kitchen resources, organizers, and other random items for the house. Everything is not a $1 from what I remembered so make sure you check the price tags before purchasing your items. The staff was very friendly. I will be back here to get a few items when I'm in the area.

I was looking forward to the opening of this place but was disappointed when I went. I guess I expected it to be like the one in SoCal. This store was a lot smaller and the choices were limited. Still you can find some neat Japanese imported items. Although I was disappointed, I still recommend checking it out if you've never been to a Daiso.

I will say this particular Target has plenty of parking, you never have to worry about running out of carts, and everything is conveniently located. I've gotten most of my prescriptions done here, and the people behind the counter have been very nice, understanding and asking questions and are very helpful. I do particularly like the produce section, they always have a good selection of fresh produce. Nothing looks like it's been sitting out for very long at all. They have really good deals. If you get the Target red card, you can save a few bucks. One of the things I've noticed is this particular Target has a lot of self-checkout. Which gets used pretty quick. Normally there is a line to get in. But the weight is never very long. Added bonus, this particular Target has a Starbucks inside, that allows you to use the app and stars for product. Nice touch as you're leaving the store, you can grab a copy or a snack! Bottom line? Target is pretty much Target. The thing that makes it different is the quality of the people that work there. I have never had a bad situation with anyone at this particular Target. If you're in the area and need to go to Target, this would be the one.

Shopping in Las Vegas, Nevada…read more.. After hunting in a grocery store and Target, I suggested that we try Walmart for tonic water. (My auntie Sue drinks it to prevent leg cramps at night when she's sleeping.) Our shopping styles are different. I like to hunt and follow signs. My auntie wants to ask employees. Sometimes they don't speak English and sometimes they just don't know or give incorrect information. Sometimes they look up information and can tell that the item is out of stock. In this case, it was a combination of things... I was following signs when Auntie wanted to ask someone working in the Frozen Foods section. They directed us to the soda aisle. There were two choices and she selected one, paid at the cashier, then found out that it was diet variety. I told her it would be easy to return it as Customer Service is usually at the front of the store. As we passed the Liquor Department, she saw other bottles of tonic water. She said that if we had turned left into Walmart instead of going straight in, we would have seen the tonic water right away. OMG... How would I know? Anyway, she returned the diet tonic water at Customer Service and got a regular tonic water from the Liquor Department. LOL... I was happy to go to the candle aisle and found Prayer Candles for $1.57, plus 8.375 percent tax. In Honolulu, these candles are $1.81, plus 4.712 percent tax. So, these candles are about 20 cents less... However, carrying them is a bit of a struggle because of the weight and the fragile glass... I got 3 of them anyway... haha! This was a productive learning experience. I go to Walmart often at home. The prices and selection, in general, are quite good!

Very disappointed with my recent experience at Walmart Supercenter…read more I bought garlic bread on April 21st and baked it the next day. My boyfriend and I already ate part of it before I noticed there was mold on the remaining half when I went to store it. Extremely disgusting and concerning. The packaging says "freshness guaranteed," which definitely does not match what I experienced. Luckily, we didn't get sick, but this could have easily been a health risk. Walmart really needs to pay closer attention to product quality and make sure expired or spoiled items are removed from shelves.
