I love shopping. Always have. Despite being a middle aged father of teenagers, I don't care about sports or doing things with my hands (DIY types). I like fashion, shopping, and video games. I'm admittedly not a wealthy person, but regardless, even if I was, I'd like to think I'd still be an avid thrifter. Thrift stores are really just slightly cleaner versions of swap meets, minus the haggling and mariachi (which I find unfortunate on both accounts). And in this particular brand's case, it's efficiently and expertly owned and operated by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (I.e. Mormons). It's easily the cleanest, most well organized Thrift Store I've ever been to. Compared to Goodwill, Savers, and Salvation Army thrift stores, Deseret knocks it out if the park. It's extremely well organized, properly staffed, lacks that "thrift store aroma", and is extremely efficient, much like the LDS church itself. Although at times their furniture can be priced a little obscenely high, this isn't the norm. Honestly some of the nicest furniture in my home was acquired from Deseret. They get some very high quality items donated. It's always a pleasant shopping experience at Deseret. Plain and simple.

Super friendly and helpful. Donated five bags of designer clothes and shoes. They have a drive through drop off.

Huge facility, great selections, everyone can find something there. My opinion is, they should take over all Savers locations in town.

"The Giving Store" appeared on my search. When I read the description of this wonderful organization, I could not have been more pleased to let go and donate here. The staff members are kind, caring and enthusiastic about the good they are doing. Donation drop-off was a breeze.

They had mini gift bags with a lovely picture of their friend and it was very touching gesture. They explained that the entire store was 50% off. I was like, "oh shoot... I better get a cart ." I spent around an hour looking around and found some awesome stuff. I didn't spend much time on the clothes as it was very busy and congested with people so I opted to shop around the perimeter for more home decor items. I'll definitely be back to check out the store more thoroughly. However I found a great picture frame... I'll be putting my own artwork in it but it was in great condition and large scale. I also got a timeless task lamp. Such great finds for $8 total!! What an awesome deal. This place is so cool. Will continue to recommend

And in this case, on top of the counters as well. And on me. I loved trying on clothes and jewelry and picking through all kinds of knick-knacks and everything else. Nothing was more endearing than their darling, cross-eyed, noisy little shoulder cat. 10/10. Would go back and pay an entry fee for her alone.

I love the vintage vibe in the Arts District in LV. Glam Factory is packed with all kinds of goodies. Stephanie, the owner was nice enough to show me the armadillo purse. She can tell I was down for the creepy vibes. There was racks of all kinds of vintage finds. It was challenging with my baby angel on my back but I managed to find the most beautiful, floral, eighties blouse with sheer sleeves! It was giving Robert Smith vibes. A must in my book. It was a great deal too. The shop is located close to all the other shops and you can really make a nice afternoon just shopping. I would definitely keep an eye out for one of a kind pieces for a fair price.

This was my first time going to a savers and this location specifically was recommended. If you're…read morelike me and are new to the Saver's experience, here's my pros and cons, and what I wish I would've known before going in. Pros: - everyone that works at this location is pretty chill and very kind. - It's very very organized and the items in the shop are fairly decent looking/quality items (just a few items I noticed with oil and pit stains but not as many as when I shop at goodwill) - households items, books, and knickknacks were actually pretty cool here. Would come back specifically for these things. Cons: - There's NO changing room. Which, for a THRIFT store where there's no set sizes on some of the clothing or the wrong sizes listed on the tags, this was mind boggling. I spent 2 hours in there before i was informed they didn't have any. If you're like me and don't have a one-size fits all body, that is the BIGGEST drawback from this store. Better suited for resellers methinks. - The price for the clothing was a little steep for a thrift store. I spent $60 for 5 items, 3 of which were basic tees. - Bags cost money and they have 2 options, paper bag with no handles (was like $0.10) and the typical tote type bags that have handles and typically cost more money. Not the biggest issue but definitely didn't add anything to my experience there. I likely wouldn't ever shop at a Savers again unless I needed some cute knickknacks, and this location is definitely one I would go to for that. But for an avid clothing thrifter, this was a bummer of an experience.
