Each season is beautifully done with festive displays, lights, and decorations that make you feel like you've stepped into a storybook. There's so much to do for all ages...a charming train ride through the forest, a classic carousel, the fun Avalanche Slide, and endless photo opportunities everywhere you turn. It's perfect for families, date nights, or even just a cozy night out with friends. The beer garden is a great touch for adults, while kids (and kids at heart) can enjoy hot cocoa and funnel cakes. Everything is thoughtfully laid out and keeps the energy fun and festive without feeling overwhelming. What really makes this place special is knowing that your visit supports a great cause while creating lasting memories. The staff and volunteers are friendly, and you can tell a lot of heart goes into making this event magical every year. Highly recommend making this a seasonal tradition, it's pure joy, nostalgia, and holiday spirit all in one

As seen, in my Pics The Gift Shop's items' isn't priced too badly; there were some items that I was considering, but you know how it is, after the Holidays, your bank account is pretty lean; I have a lot of people to buy for, I've got a large family. There were five Grinch- themed trees. Many of the trees were decorated very nicely. It's a beautiful sight to see. We went on the Carousel, and we did two rounds of Mini-Golf, which was fun. We also went down the Avalanche twice. Stringbean went three times. Gone are the years of seeing all of the Gingerbread Houses. Now, there are a lot of fundraising food/drink stands, I get it, it's an organization.

"No man left behind." Many many years of growing my father…read moreand his interactions with my extended family were passionate about their military careers. My rearing was focused around military life. Many generations have proudly served this nation. When one falls down, we pick them up. If they are injured, dead, no one gets left behind. Story after story and of real life accounts of wounded men that would of died. These men that fell were carried on the backs of their brothers to safety. How is it so many values can be instilled in so many brave men and women whom defend our nation, but are forgotten when they come home? Organizations such as this exist to help out those that have fallen. We all need a helping hand once in a while. Many are too proud to ever ask. How do we change the current situation? It seems more and more of our service men and woman come back from over seas unable to cope with what they have seen. When was the last time you say a dead body? How about a suicidal bomb go off while your eating? In some places out side of our world this is a fact of life. Bodies lay dead in the streets. In our great nation their are some cities that don't even allow the dead to be buried in city limits. Many Americans live to old old age, we do not witness death like other places in the world. Now think about what these people see. How would your mental state be when you got home? Your suppose to go out and get a regular job, connect with people on a normal level. Sometimes it's not that easy. Many of our armed forces peoples keep this bottled up. They let these images they have seen haunt them. This is where we can help. Washington can only do so much. Freedom is not free. It's a fight that we battle every day. Someone right now is fighting to protect my and your way of life at their own expense. Be the change in the world. When I lost my husband three years ago today, this was the organization that I reached for. My husband spent eight years serving this nation. He was duty and honor all the way. Many of his things that he cherished I donated here. The donation center is easy to get too and can be done anonymously. We wanted to reach even more. From time to time when they needed extra help for events we were there serving food to those that seemed broken. These individuals are not broken, they need change. They need people to care. They need people to know that their sacrifices were not in vein. The Covid virus has not been kind to organizations that are trying to help others. Most of these places closed up for six months or longer. Some have run out of funds. Sure money helps everything. Or does it? We need new individuals to step up and take charge. Let's show our veterans that they have not been forgotten. It is the duty of all the citizens to make an impact. Many may not know that a lot of veterans that come back from these ever lasting wars end up homeless. These are things that need to change. As a collective let's try to make 2021 the year that mattered. Be the voice for those that have none. We can do it. Look how far we have come. It all starts with every one having a voice. You matter! And so does that individual over there that you may not understand. Join me we're gonna make a difference this year.

She was truly devastated…read moreand said she did not want to get another pet that will out last her because she is in her 70s. She decided that if she did get a cat, she wanted it to be a senior cat at least nine or 10 years old and she wanted a black cat. I checked a few rescue places and came up upon homeward bound cat rescue. We went clear across town to visit and we're really happy that we did. We spent some time visiting with one of their senior cats. I don't know how someone passed her up. She is very friendly. She did hiss a couple of times at homeward bound, but I think it was because she was afraid and didn't know us ...but you could tell that she had a good demeanor as she started to warm up after we spent a good 45 minutrs or more there with her. She came and sat right next to my sister. She actually then crawled up onto my lap. We knew that she had picked us as her new humans. She will come when you call her name and she has litter box trained. She will also come give you a little head but to tell you, she loves you. She is friendly with me and my husband. The intake form said she was a little nervous with other people coming into the house, but we've had several people interact with her now and she's never had that issue. I don't think it was a cat issue. I think it was the people issue. We're really happy we found homeward bound cat rescue. The facility is very clean. They do have quite a few cats. They have their own rooms and some of them have a couple of cats together so that they have a friend or they're bonding, but I love the fact that they weren't all sitting in cages having such high stress like you see at some of the adoptions at the pet stores or PetSmart, etc. It is truly a wonderful place and the ladies there are exceptional. The intake form was really not that long. I don't know what other people on the reviews are saying that it was a difficult process, but I would hope that they would be selective and talk to each person and get some information and have you sign adoption papers so they're doing everything the right way. Even If you don't need a cat at this time, at least go to their website and make a donation.

Homeward Bound Adoptions for Cats is the BEST place to find your next best friend…read more After I lost my 16-year-old cat, I decided I wanted TWO adult cats that were compatible. It's not easy to find two cats that get along. NONE of the traditional adoption sites listed pairs of cats. A GOOGLE search and I found Homeward Bound where they specialize in multiple cat adoptions. Cats are in spacious rooms with toys, beds, and cat trees. They roam around and you can pet and interact with them. NO CAGES! The volunteers show you cats that match what you want. In my case, two calico sisters, 2.5 years old. Lyra and Lyric have been home since late February and have adjusted to their new life. I wouldn't have them to love without Homeward Bound. If you're looking for a cat, I highly recommend visiting Homeward Bound.

Thanks bye. (Edit: she took the 2 from inside because she still had room and we let her know they were going back out today.) Its weird, like two of the ppl we've worked with in the program are very helpful, but the main one organizing with us is just flighty and mean. She is mad I won't use my car to transport, and not that I owe you an explanation, but its a lease and if I dont keep it, any damage is my monetary problem. You wanna get spray or scratches out of my interior? I didn't come to you, nor volunteer, beyond temp foster of a very sick breastfeeding momma and kitten who are now weaned and dry. You knocked on my door to supposedly help, and eventually complain our colony is a dawn colony and not a dusk colony. Here is some Google learning.... "While cats are not nocturnal (active strictly at night) but are considered crepuscular (most active at dawn and dusk), they can adapt their activity patterns to their owners' schedules, especially when it comes to mealtimes"... while we are not their owners, we put food out in the morning for them well before you showed up. Also, maybe if you hadn't insisted on wasting your own time several months ago by trying to catch a bunch of recenly pregnant, very hormonal and territorial cats at a time they are not used to feeding and actually listen to people instead of forcing your own agenda you would get further. You didn't modify your schedule for us, you did it for the cats and if that's isn't what you're doing it for, get out of it. If you couldn't do it, get someone else involved who can, and hear me when I say I can't. Also, you are right its your money and time cuz you volunteer, thank you for that, but its our resources you seem to feel entitled to for doing so. Asking my mom to use my car is one thing, but gettting upset and changing all the plans cuz you think its was something I should just be ok with is a weird reaction I dont understand. Mom's willing to use her car, which was the plan, but not with the check engine light on. Which came on on Saturday. Didn't you want understanding when your POS car wasn't working? You gonna pay if her engine blows up? I let you drag me into making that email to do the organizing you were supposed to do, and now you're punishing my neighbors by not going through with catching tonight cuz you over extend yourself, and get mad when others don't do the same? So i guess you feel even now on wasted time? Youre transparent about why you are mad. I'm disabled and can barely do much without getting migraines or fatigued, but you seem to think you get to judge that I don't want to use what little resources I do have on this cause. I've had to come to terms with my limits, maybe get know yours, and don't try to guilt me about mine. It seems youre trying to put us in every role except colony caretaker. Like im not a trapper, or stager so why am being pushed to seeking permission from a mobile home park manager for you to put out traps? Or to write up material that you're going to reuse without permission? Shouldn't you have reached out to the leasing office here since you'll be the ones they will see at 11pm on the cameras? Your trappers are the ones who will be pestered by police, not me. So on a final note, I'll let those neighbors who reported several ferrals, that you're leaving them in the lurch and they should take any they can catch to henderson animal control and let them know Theresa never showed to trap like scheduled. Thanks for starving the cats for no reason. On behalf of Canyone Heights please f off. Edit edit: they show up after telling my mom this am they wouldn't be back. Lol then I front of her crew she pretends to stick to my mom by going off again. Ew.
