We are so grateful to the organization for what they do as a whole and everyone there were great people and super friendly..........except the Executive Director (Kelli). She has to be one of the most rude and disrespectful people that I have ever met. I spent 21 years in the Air Force and and still work for the gov and I pride myself in treating people with respect and understanding, and the way she acted towards myself and others at the Dress giveaway, just for walking down the incorrect hallway....she should not be in charge of any organization and I would be leary about donating to a person like that. All she had to do was explain the mistake/rules in a nice and respectful manner. I overheard others talking about the rudeness from her as well. read more

What a wonderful nonprofit organization dedicated to our homeless, disadvantaged high school youth. High school is hard enough to get through but when you are lacking the basics like food, clothing, hygiene items and school supplies it can be really difficult and depressing. That is where this place can help. They are able to assist and support our youth with being able to thrive and stay in school to graduate. They accept donations and appreciate volunteers. They provide classes such as job research, job prep, setting life goals, life after high school, financial skills and other educational help. This can really change a young persons life if they offered the right tools to succeed. Clothing is offered for free at the little store called Betty's Boutique on-site with a high school student ID. I was happy to donate my daughter's old prom and homecoming dresses to this organization in order for a needy youth to enjoy their upcoming formal dance. They also accept monetary donations as well. Came here for a back to school event they had. Loved the idea of the community helping our students however the front desk staff was beyond rude and made my daughter and I uncomfortable upon entering. They were annoyed that we had given them a partial last name than listed on their sign up sheet. My daughter has a hyphenated last name but they require a photo id along with student Id regardless so instead of verify the ID and name they hounded her over not giving them the correct last name. They said for future reference and that my daughter should be the one to fill out the application so there's no error of names. Isn't that why they confirm identification ? They also said we needed an appointment. However on social media it says they don't require appointments. There seems to be a miscommunication on their end and they are taking it out on the participants. I probably won't be returning due to the aggressive first impression. It's hard to stay professional or treat the staff as professionals when they act so rude to the people they're portraying to help. Please work on customer service. You're doing this for the community so get some volunteers in there that genuinely care. read more

Project 150 is a really great resource for high school students in the community. They help provide food, clothing, a positive environment, and resources to kids and their families who may not know where else to turn. The staff and volunteers are all welcoming and eager to help. I have volunteered and brought donations and they have always been supportive and thankful. Every little bit helps, including food, clothing and time and I would encourage anyone who can volunteer, to even give 30 minutes to an hour of your time and see what a difference it makes! read more

This review is written for the Back-to-School Shopping Event July 2022. Our family of 10 was referred to Project 150 by another non-profit organization. I called Project 150 and they told me to sign up on eventbrite for their BTS shop event. This is our first time hearing of this program. The registration was easy. When we showed up, the kids checked in at the front door. Parent's aren't allowed into shopping event only the registered teens. They have a list of items to choose from and 45 minutes to shop. They also receive a back pack full of school supplies. Suggestion: There needs to be a volunteer to assist children with disabilities. This should be asked on the application as well. My son got in there and was overwhelmed with choices. He needed help and couldn't call me to ask me questions or opinions because they're not allowed to use their cell phones while inside. None of the student aids or volunteers checked on him to see if he was okay. So he kind of stood there for a second just staring at everything waiting for assistance. He walked out with 1 shirt and 1 short. Maybe having someone assist children with disabilities should be available if parents can't be present with them. All in all, this is a great program for low income or underprivileged teens. We 100% support their mission. Hopefully, they have some thing for prom season and/or sports. That would be a great expansion. read more

Project 150 was started by a man who visited his old Las Vegas high school only to learn that there were 150 students on the campus that were homeless. This prompted him to start a resource center for these students that eventually became Project 150. Project 150 provides free food, clothes, school supplies, and other necessary items for teens in the Las Vegas Valley who are homeless or facing other needs. In addition to a free boutique and food pantry, they offer special support throughout the year. For example, they have help for students who want to go to prom (e.g., dresses/tuxes, hair cuts, manicures) and food boxes students may take over the holidays. This Christmas, volunteers prepared and delivered 1,900 food boxes for delivery at school schools throughout the city. Project 150 functions in part because of the volunteer support they receive. Project 150 is a great resource but they should train the people that work there better. My daughter took my some there and he just started HS and he had a traumatic brain Injury a few years ago he has a IEP and they kept questioning him why he doesn't know his school ID my memory and how most kids know it and the lady couldn't understand why he couldn't tell her my daughter had a screenshot of his school info and she still continued to question them this was at the beginning of this school year we haven't been back because my son is still upset about the incident they lady made him feel stupid I wish I had been there to give her a education on TBI and how if now has memory issues Thank you for making my son feel less than he is read more

Betty's Boutique is amazing, it's set up for the students to come in and go "shopping" without spending a dime. They do so much for the kids in Las Vegas and they deserve more praise read more
