You walk in and are greeted with the funniest, kindest people ready to move you to your seats. Your server comes over quickly to ensure that any drinks are flowing! The chairs in the establishment are hilarious and just basic chairs with some designs on them. The venue itself quickly filled up and the show started. It was funny, sexy, raunchy, and jaw-dropping. Half of the show I kept looking at our friends making sure they were having a great time and, to no surprise, they were. The circus acts are unbelievable and the comedic relief dabbled in makes it even more of an experience. This is, by far, one of the best shows I've seen in Vegas! Highly recommend.

The brunch was delicious with a nice selection of caesar salad, fruit, scrambled eggs (2 types), bacon, greenbeans, a cheese, pasta and of course chicken and waffles. This isn't just a concert, and it isn't just a Cirque du Soleil show. It's a full-on sensory experience that combines Michael Jackson's music, incredible choreography, acrobatics, special effects, lighting, video, and some seriously talented performers. And let me tell you... the energy in this theater is absolutely off the charts! The show takes you through some of Michael's biggest hits, and hearing those songs performed while watching the choreography and production happening all around you is something completely different from simply listening to the music. The performers were phenomenal. The dancing, acrobatics, costumes, and athleticism were incredible, and there were moments where I honestly found myself wondering, "How in the world did they just do that?" And the production itself? Las Vegas at its best. The lights, screens, sound, effects, and stage design all work together to create something that feels much bigger than a traditional theater show. There is always something happening, and the show moves at a pace that keeps you completely engaged. My wife and I were in Vegas celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary, and this was definitely one of those experiences that we'll be talking about for a long time. I didn't have an idea of the show but I love Cirque du Soleil and want to see all their shows. This is my first contemporary show - I didn't get to the Beatles Love. First off, we sat in the center and maybe 5 rows from the back. We got the whole view of the stage and the left and right portions of the extended stage. I love that you can buy popcorn and snack in the theater waiting for the show to start. With all Cirque shows, I try to figure out the story before looking it up. Like many mentioned, this one was a bit tough. But I was pleasantly distracted by the VISUALS! This Cirque show still had acrobatics and "clowns" but the visuals and choreography, supported by technology, truly took center stage for me. Our seats allowed us to feel the effects of the visuals. I was in awe of how great the production used lighting, drones, projections everywhere to make you feel like you're IN the show, much like an IMAX makes you feel closer than you actually are. Now those literally closer to the stage interacted more with the cast but being further back, you see and experience so much more and en mass (in my opinion). Acrobatics was still present. Personally, the pole dancer impressed me the most! So hard to do this routine with speed and for an entire song! My arms felt like noodles thinking of the endurance and strength. Again, I emphasize the visuals. I felt like a little kid looking everywhere to take in all the details. Coupled that with the music and the artist, I found myself crying a couple of times, especially during Man in the Mirror. There were throwbacks to his music videos, even the Black and White video with Macaulay Culkin and the powerful They Don't Care About Us music video. The gentleman who works there is talking about how Vegas used to be.. Queue up, old Vegas!.... The show is all about how Vegas used to be. A full band... Singers, dancers, showgirls! Do all of the performers look and sound exactly like the people are portraying? No, but. WHO CARES????? it is entertaining from the beginning to the end, and all of the performers have such energy. You can tell that they really enjoy what they are doing. The audience was really enjoying the show. The show is presented at the Saxe theater at planet Hollywood. Ok, I get it, it happens at most theaters, but then we got to the actual theater, omg It's just ask dirty as the bathroom. One of the seats we bought was out of order and covered with a white sheet. The seats that weren't were disgusting, as were the side tables, and floors. I was scared to touch anything. I need a shower after this. This is the stickiest theater floor I can recall.

This theatre was built sometime after Town Square opened and was the home of the comedy play "Shear…read moreMadness" for about a year and then was used for improv and other shows. The shows in the theatre eventually closed but the space was preserved. I went here on June 16, 2012 to see SRO Productions do "Barefoot in the Park." This was the company's first performance and this space was perfect. The theatre is across from the Yardhouse so it's not hard to find. There's a nice theatre marquee above the entrance. Inside, there's a ticket selling area on the left and a counter on the right for buying soda, water, and other movie theatre treats. The theatre is actually below the Rave Motion Picture multiplex. The theatre itself is very well done. There are about 5 rows of floor seats with a center aisle and it seats about 70 in that area. There are rear seats--5 or 6 rows that go up like stadium seating. There are good sight lines anywhere because the theatre is an intimate space. The stage is fairly small and it would not be a good venue for a show that needed large sets. There just isn't room for much on the stage. I was pleased to come and see the show last night, but most important, I was really glad this theatre hadn't been lost. I hope other local companies can use this space and keep it a performing theatre.
