There were five Grinch- themed trees. Many of the trees were decorated very nicely. It's a beautiful sight to see. We went on the Carousel, and we did two rounds of Mini-Golf, which was fun. We also went down the Avalanche twice. Stringbean went three times. Gone are the years of seeing all of the Gingerbread Houses. Now, there are a lot of fundraising food/drink stands, I get it, it's an organization.

I didn't even get to take a photo of it because I didn't notice it when I first walked in - yes, it was as if I was a horse wearing blinders. Anyway, when I went to use their restroom was when I actually noticed the beautiful artwork. I asked the beautiful lady at the front desk if it was a local artist who painted the murals. She said it was an artist from Los Angeles named Mike Norice. If you Google-search Pearson Community Center + Mike Norice, you'll see a few videos on this place. It was breathtaking to say the least. Just absolutely beautiful the work he did, which is called "Unsung Pillars of the Westside". There were other works of art (mixed media) throughout the lobby from community members that I found to be beautiful as well. While I was inside one of the rooms, the place did feel a bit warm - to be fair, the weather was around 115°. Anyway, I enjoyed what I saw but wished it were a little cooler in the side rooms.

All she had to do was explain the mistake/rules in a nice and respectful manner. I overheard others talking about the rudeness from her as well.
