I have never had a manager approach me and tell me that it was one child per adult. My intention was to purchase something special for each of my daughter's friends, as it was her birthday. This store was one of my daughter's favorite places because of its jewelry selection and the value of its items. Unfortunately, the manager's behavior made us feel humiliated and embarrassed. After this experience, the value of the store was overshadowed by its poor customer service.

"No, sorry, all sales are final." Let's be very clear: "All sales are final" should NOT apply when THE STORE MADE THE MISTAKE. It is literally their responsibility to check the box before selling it. Instead, we were told tough luck and sent on our way with a useless mismatched pair of shoes. It honestly feels like the "all sales are final" policy exists because they already know their products and checks are sloppy. We didn't change our mind. We didn't damage anything. We were sold a defective product and denied basic customer service. So now we're out $50 for one wearable shoe thanks for that. I get that you said it's your policy and it's printed on the receipt-- but I wasn't even asking for a refund but to exchange for other items, no credit. Target has a better return policy.
