I have never had a manager approach me and tell me that it was one child per adult. My intention was to purchase something special for each of my daughter's friends, as it was her birthday. This store was one of my daughter's favorite places because of its jewelry selection and the value of its items. Unfortunately, the manager's behavior made us feel humiliated and embarrassed. Same shoe, but one of them was way bigger than the size 7 she paid for. That's not a "preference issue," that's a quality control failure. We called the store within the SAME HOUR of purchase to explain the situation and asked if we could simply exchange the ONE incorrect shoe for the correct size. Their response? "No, sorry, all sales are final." Let's be very clear: "All sales are final" should NOT apply when THE STORE MADE THE MISTAKE. It is literally their responsibility to check the box before selling it. Instead, we were told tough luck and sent on our way with a useless mismatched pair of shoes. It honestly feels like the "all sales are final" policy exists because they already know their products and checks are sloppy. We didn't change our mind. We didn't damage anything. We were sold a defective product and denied basic customer service. So now we're out $50 for one wearable shoe thanks for that. If you shop here, check the box before you leave, because once you walk out the door, they clearly don't care what MISTAKE THEY made.

I get that you said it's your policy and it's printed on the receipt-- but I wasn't even asking for a refund but to exchange for other items, no credit. Target has a better return policy. I've never had any issues finding what I needed. There are more than enough fitting rooms and I've never had to wait to try on clothing. Employees have always been friendly. I do think it's part of WHBM culture to have employees pounce on you as soon as you walk in which can be a bit annoying. I appreciate being greeted and asked if I need help, but often it feels like they are watching like a hawk. I'm 10/10 times going to spend more money if I'm left alone. The actual clothing is great because it is decent quality and tends to be flattering to all shapes and sizes. The styles are more on the conservative side, but are still cute. I love their t-shirts because they are slightly fitted, but without being too clingy. WHBM can definitely be pricey, but it can be worth it for the quality pieces.
