Well I said we would go back to the store and we did on Saturday December 22nd. Very busy, but boy were the ladies there friendly and helpful. They remembered my wife and I, and although there were many people in the store, my wife was able to try on her clothes and buy everything pretty quickly. There was a good sale as well. We bought a gift card for her sister as well. There were a couple of cranky customers but the gal at the register handled them very well. The store was very clean, including the restroom, but the store is a little care worn and could use a refresh (the floor and walls are pretty bad). read more

I was in the store on the afternoon of Friday November 22nd, and it was BUSY. And I was very saddened to read the review below calling for people to be fired. I have never felt unwelcome in this lovely store. I've been a frequent shopper in the District store since it opened!! Granted I'm a bit younger than the average shopper -- but I've always found cute items to mix in with my wardrobe, and their staff has always been so helpful and kind to me, even not being in their target demographic!! I've found great sweaters, cute and funky jewelry pieces, and jeans that actually fit -- and the staff has always been there to help, with great suggestions and kind assistance. I did not experience a negative moment in the store -- I can't understand why people are so hateful and cranky, but courtesy and professionalism abound at this store, and I went to review today to share my experience, noticed the rude review and had to share my experiences. The Chico's ladies are fabulous and their level of outstanding customer service even when their store is busy - as it was - even today on Black Friday, is always 10/10. Five stars, all that jazz!! If I could give them no stars I would. I have never been treated so rudely in a Chicos as my friend I were at this store in the district. We were ignored from entry into the store and the who,e time we were there. The sales women Working that day obviously prejudged us from the get go. One even followed us around the store, I guess assuming we were going to steal something. My friend and I are 74 and 80 and have never stole anything from any where are entire life. We were made to feel unwelcome and uncomfortable and even though I found the items I was looking for I decided that I would not purchase from them and went to my regular store in Summerlin who always treat me with respect and are more than happy to assist in my purchases. I love chicos and am usually treated with respect. Granted, I wear jeans and a t-shirt, but most locations realize that customers don't always dread up to go shopping. This was the first time I've ever walked out without buying something that fit me & was actually on sale. The dressing rooms were full, so the salesperson said she would call me when one opened up. I waited 20 minutes and saw her clean one of the rooms, then walk over ti help another customer, leaving that room empty. I waited patiently for another 5-6 minutes and finally just went in to try on the jeans. She knocked on the door and berated me for going in without permission. So, instead of purchasing the pants now, I will order them online, so she doesn't get the commission. I will never shop the Chico's at Green Valley Ranch again. read more

Bumping Chico's to 5 stars for the outstanding service I get from this store. I know several of the stylists here since I pop in to say hello due to my proximity. Everyone is so friendly here. I get honest feedback when I try stuff on too. Sometimes I buy online because of special online sales, but I can return to the store. Returns are very easy and no questions are asked. Chico's definitely wants customers to be satisfied with its goods! I have been wearing this really pretty layered black dress from here that started to unravel after only a few wears. I did not have a receipt, but I popped in yesterday to see if they suggested to sew it or what Chico's could do. The stylists cheerfully offered to refund my money and take the dress back without any drama. They looked me up by my phone number, found the purchase in my passport account, and returned the money to me immediately. I really appreciate this service. Also, for my birthday I received a $10 off coupon, which is good for 2 full months! I used it on a pair of earrings. I started off a Chico's customer for accessories but have really found the maxi dresses to be comfortable, beautiful, and great for travel. I get tons of compliments when I wear them. This is a fun place to shop, and there are always coupons and sales to make the prices reasonable for all shoppers. read more

I haven't been clothes shopping very much since the COVID-19 pandemic kept us shut-ins for so long, so it was nice to actually do some clothes shopping at the Chico's in The District at Green Valley Ranch and have a little fun looking at some possibilities to take home with me. I was greeted by Erica who helped set me up with an available dressing room and answered my questions. The place had a steady flow of customers. I enjoyed just looking around and not feeling pressured at all to find something. I found some nice items that would be very stylish and great for travel one of these days. I was quite satisfied with my purchases, and who doesn't like being a Size 1.5 or 2.0 for a change! I should add that there was a slight misunderstanding with a special introductory membership discount that was due to me that we were able to straighten out very amicably with Jennifer's assistance the next day. All in all, it was a nice change of pace to go out shopping for clothes! We've all had a very stressful year for sure! read more

This is more a reflection on the company than this particular store. I am always looking for Jeggings that are made for long legged gals. Over the years Chicos has pushed their pointe and ankle pants. When the do make a Jean jegging for tall people they sell out quickly. Thankfully I just found JAG pull on jeans and I Love them! I'm 20 years old and I went looking for a birthday gift for my grandma. After being told they closed their registers early at Soft Surroundings, our day was completely turned around by the ladies closing at this Chico's location! They made us feel so welcome even though it was about 5-10 minutes to closing! They reassured us and helped us pick out the perfect gift for her. They really went the extra mile and I will be telling all of my friends and family about the wonderful experience I had tonight. read more

I always get the best help from Laura, she knows my taste in clothing and constantly finds pieces that are just right. I also like the way chico's uses the same dye colors used in past years so often clothing purchased in past years often match current apparel. When I visited this store, the sales lady was friendly and very helpful. :) However, my big beef is not with this store, it is with Chico's online service. When I tried to purchase a .99 item on their website, it wouldn't take the 60% off discount. I tried calling (58 in the que!!!), I tried their Live Chat (didn't work, no response!), and I tried sending an email (no response!). Therefore, I was unable to purchase those items during the one-day online sale. I still want to purchase them at that price and feel that they should honor my request due to their service being down that day. As a visitor from the Washington D.C. area, I am completely appalled by the manner in which my step-mother was just treated. Our family owns a business and we always treat our customers with respect and dignity. My step-mother left the store in tears as the employee made her feel as if she was less than a person for wanting to exchange two shirts that she received as a birthday gift. I have never experienced such a dysfunctional exchange in my life after reading the majority of these yelp reviews, our experience appears to align with others. I received a coupon worth $25 off any purchase of $25 or more, combinable with other store offers. The snooty saleswomen at the Chico's in Green Valley Ranch, Henderson, NV would not honor the coupon. I even read all the terms and conditions to them and their response was, "Everything in our store is 30% off, so you can't combine it with your coupon". Their eyes and ears were closed. They never wanted to hear, or adhere to, what was written on their own coupon. I checked with Chico's main customer service office (representative Heather) and the saleswomen were dead wrong. The coupon should have been honored in combination with the store 30% off. These Chico's employees treated me like they were queens and I was their maidservant. I have a closet filled with Chico's clothing but I will never shop there again. They have lost me as a customer. read more

There's something very bizarre about this store. The sales people feel that they should victimize the customers. They treat you like you're some sort of thief trying to take advantage of them. I love and have always bought Chico products for years but because of the rude sales staff I'll never shop here again. I find that Walmart staff is much more professional and courteous.
