Poor customer service. My sister and I came here to purchase a few bras and pajamas sets, but left and went to the store at the fashion show mall instead. Had I read the previous yelp reviews for this location I would've never went. Apparently the store has a reputation for poor customer service and unenthusiastic staff. During our visit the three employees on duty were more engrossed in their gossip than providing any kind of assistance. At one point, my sister asked one of them a question and the associate answered her with her back turned. She seemed annoyed that she asked for any type of help. Yea... the store may have the selection and Soma bras are good value but I'd rather drive 20 minutes out of the way than comeback to this store location. read more

Love the bra selections, but the staff is such a hit and miss. I come every year to get resized and new bras - which they pull me to the back, size me, grab me styles, have me try-on then shop. Then you get staff that want you to shop and be done - no try on, no friendliness, no desire to play their role. She gave me a proper fitting and asked me what I was looking for, chose a few different styles and we had a winner! She even loosened the straps before trying them on. I think their products are amazing. That's more than I can say for the employees today. No one bothered to greet me and I saw what I was looking for and walked to the counter with a question and I truly felt like I was bothering her. She was just rude. Only to know that she was in a hurry to get out for lunch. The next girl trying to help me apparently did not have much insight into inventory. Kudos to the manager for a small discount on an item I wanted. Overall with out going into great detail the customer service was just deplorable. What: bra fitting. I was in desperate need of several new bras and strapless bras. I needed a fitting since I have been on a new exercise regimen and my cups were now too large, especially on one side! Service: I had never been to this store before but was hopeful that since they focused only on lingerie, that they would be most knowledgeable. The sales associate was helpful in that she measured me and brought me a few bras, but nothing seemed to fit correctly. She didn't seem to know how to fit me correctly as she thought a very tight bra with my stuff hanging off the sides "looked fine." When the store got busy, she tried to help me and others but then she went to get me something and never came back. I'm literally standing in the dressing room in a bra and after a long while of waiting for her I gave up, got dressed and left. Location: the District across from Rachel's Kitchen. Tip: go online and try ThirdLove.com. They solved my cup and asymmetric problems by offering half-cup sizes. I usually have a good experience here, but today when I went around 11 am an employee with Blond hair was very rude. I was looking at an item and she asked loudly if "I needed anything"...I thought she was talking on the phone because her hands were in her ear and it looked like she had earbuds so I didn't respond. She then yelled at me if I needed help. I told her I thought she was talking on the phone...she mumbles no and huffed away. I then was waiting for a fitting room and she told me they were open rudely. I have bought tons of clothing here but may have to reconsider. I'm in CS and this is not how you treat your customers. As everyone knows from my reviews of Soma in Town Square and the Soma Outlet in Allen, Texas, I was thrilled to see The District getting a Soma store, especially when many stores have closed in the District recently (and Soma closed in Fashion Show last year). I popped in today for the grand opening (free bra with $75 purchase fyi!) and toured the new store. A sales associate greeted me warmly and helped me navigate the store. It is so dazzling and bright! She was so friendly. The store is a tad smaller than Town Square (or maybe it just seems that way) because I did not see as much product (no workout clothes and limited clothing in general) but there are lots of sleepwear, tunics, shrugs, and cardigans for now. The bra and panty selection is abundant. I would recommend just checking it out for the novelty and great service. Be sure to touch something in the cool nights collection - feels like a dream! read more

I walked into this store today, there were 3 employees at the counter and I was the only customer. I had never been to a Soma location, but I received some pajamas as a gift, which i absolutely love, and I wanted to find other items to purchase. Nobody even looked at me. Didn't say hi, didn't ask if I needed help. I walked all over the store, even up by the counter where the sale items and pajamas are located and still nothing. After a few minutes, other customers walked in and they were immediately greeted. They were asked if they need help within seconds of entering the store. I still had not been acknowledged by anyone. I walked up to the counter and one of the ladies asked if I needed help, and I told her I did. I'm not sure what it was about me that I was treated this way. I did find some items but didn't even want to make a purchase at the time because of the treatment I received. Having worked in retail and hospitality management most of my career, I am aware of how customer service should be and this was far from it. I wasn't dressed up and I had been running errands all day, but that wasn't a reason to be made to feel invisible by the staff in this store. This has nothing to do with the merchandise because the few items I do have are some of my favorites. But I'll never go in that specific store again. read more

I am not a shopper and I especially dislike shopping for necessities like bras, but an awesome associate made the experience a great one. As soon as I walked in Irma (I hope I have her name right because she was awesome) greeted me. She could tell how lost I was and instantly started helping me. She asked several questions about what I was looking for and showed me examples to help choose something. In the fitting room she introduced herself and did a fitting so that she could find some bras for me to try on. This is where the service goes beyond what their competitors offer. She brought back some options, but kept working with me. She would check each one so that she could troubleshoot issues and find one that worked best. She also wasn't pushy toward one option or another and insisted that I find what I thought was comfortable since I would be the one wearing it all day. I really appreciated her ongoing help and determination to help me find something that worked. I tried on many options and she was very patient. The prices seemed right in line with other stores charge. They weren't a bargain, but they weren't overpriced either. Even better, there was a sale the day I was there so the second one was half off. read more

If I could give 1000 stars I would! Walked in an hour before closing and was immediately greeted making me feel welcome. I have not been sized in years and after two kids, being a nursing momma I am new to this body of mine. Amy listened to what I had to say, quickly sized me (38G) and came back with SO MANY OPTIONS! I have NEVER felt so understood and happy with any other bra fitting experience..EVER. I came here in the hopes of finding one bra that I could be "okay" with and let me tell you, I left trying to figure out which bra I could leave without. I purchased 4, different styles / colors, 2 pajama sets and a night gown. Mind you I came here for ONE bra. Soma was a recommendation from friends after hearing I've been wearing nursing bras for the past few years and I will DEFINITELY be back. You know what I love? Honest salespeople. There is TMI coming. Fair warning. I came in Soma to find a good strapless bra. Strapless bras are a pain no matter who you are, but in my case, I have some saaaaaaaad ladies that need a little, um, HELP from time to time (I've lost 150 pounds, so things aren't where they should be anymore, if you know what I mean). Strapless bras are a tough find because most seem to lack the support and lift I need. When I described my needs to the Soma sales associate, she showed me all the strapless offerings Soma has. When I seemed less than thrilled with what there was, she gave me a personal suggestion of another retailer that offers what I was looking for. Sure enough, this helped me to find exactly what I needed, even though it wasn't at Soma. Because of this, when I want a bra WITH straps, I will be heading right back to Soma. Sure, they lost a sale that day because they didn't have what I needed, but the saleswoman's honesty and hospitality won me over as a longterm customer. Yay for doing the right thing. read more

I came by to take advantage of the spend $75 and get a free bra deal. If you are into glittery whore-chatta crotchless crap you will not find it in this store. Everything here is tasteful and high quality with classic colors and made with the softest material. Especially the pjs, night gowns and sweatsuits. The saleswomen are super helpful and can border on obnoxious. However I do appreciate being fitted for a bra by someone who isn't scared to touch a big boob. Come here to get fitted ladies! Trust me. My free bra would have cost me $55 and it's so comfortable it feels like I'm not even wearing one. For that alone I will definitely be back for more and matching panties, too! read more

Buy 3 pairs of panties and get 2 free! I really like the lingerie at this store. The fabrics are very soft and of high quality. The sleepwear is so comfortable. The designs are typically a little more conservative than say Victoria Secret, but I am not 18 anymore anyway. There are very beautiful and flattering short sets, night gowns and chemises and for those that like the full traditional pajamas, they have those too. They also have a good assortment of bras there from cami bras to sheer lace ones to minimizers, shapers and t shirt bras. All the bras I have bought from Soma are so comfortable and they fit so well. They are durable, too and hold up over time better than some other brands I have tried. Ladies if you are looking for a good strapless bra that stays in place, this is the store! I have a few of these and they stay up even while out dancing all night. Everytime I have been in the store, there is always a sale section in the back of the store for clearance items. Last night I saw bras for 50% off and a good selection of sleepwear on sale as well. I have also bought some street dresses from there, too. I have two sundresses and a long dress too and they are so comfortable and flattering on. Ladies, you have to try the dresses. Don't miss the perfumes, either. They have three called Oh My Gorgeous along with a rollerball one that is great for travel as well as the body souffle. (Makes a great gift!) read more

When looking for a good quality Bra in southern Nevada, I had a limited supply of stores available here that had stock in my size. 32 or 34 DDD. Last night I just happened into this quaint store "Soma Intimates" inside the District at Green Valley Ranch while waiting for my daughter to have dinner at Balboa's Pizza, and what a "FIND" this store is. I was greeted with a delightful young blond lady (and I am sorry I have forgotten your name) and immediately asked what my needs were. I didn't have to do anything but wait for her to arrive with what I needed, and some customer favorites to see if any of those would also be a good fit for me. Not only that, but each Bra was strap loosened for me, and adjusted to make sure it was a great fit. Now this is not the kind of treatment you get anywhere else that's for sure!! Their pricing was great as well, and they have some good specials going on. I only came in for one Bra, but left with their deal of two, and found some amazing thongs that don't leave any panty lines at all. The Bra is sooooo soft, the underwires are put together very well, and the Bra back doesn't dig in like many Bras. Very pleased with my purchases last night. If I could give twenty stars, no, a HUNDRED stars, I would! Usually I get my bras at walmart, and after several try-ons, no help from staff, and lots of frustration and tears, I settle for a stack of cheap sports bras and run home with my tail between my legs. Here at Soma I was greeted with a smile and helped primarily by Amy. At the age of 28 this was my first ever bra fitting, and there was no judgement on her part, only help and smiles and professionalism. I explained that this was the first time I have ever been able to afford a really good bra, and instantly she started looking through sales and clearances to help me find more than one! She helped me try on bra after bra after bra, but I have very difficult breasts (uneven by a full cup size and not a lot of natural support) and even though we couldn't easily find the perfect fit, she didn't let me feel discouraged. She told me she is still learning, and fetched their expert, Sherry (and I hope I'm spelling that right). Sherry after a few more try-ons found me the perfect bra, and immediately I felt like a star! I went in to Soma at the highest recommendation from a friend, expecting to silently browse unnoticed and slip out the same way. Instead I was treated with the utmost respect and dignity, which really helped with my body confidence issues! I was able to find and afford two very good bras, and my breasts have never been so well supported and happy! I will definitely be back, and I will definitely recommend Soma to my friends and family. Excellent brand. I was introduced to soma two years ago and absolutely love it! The comfort their bras give is incomparable. I haven't tried their panties or sleepwear yet but I'm interested in their shape wear. VS doesn't have a patch on them in the comfort and support department. I do wear VS but that's because they have sexy styles. Price wise they are comparable. But I'd wear soma any day over VS. read more

This is a small shop in The District. The service was rather lacking and inattentive. I asked to be fitted for a bra. I was measured and told I was a 34A. Which was hilariously inaccurate. The bra I wanted didn't come smaller than a C. I tried on the C. The saleswoman then tried to tell me how it fit great - even though I was spilling out, the center wasn't anywhere close to resting on my skin, and the hook/clasp was on the tightest possible and it was loose. When I asked for the next size up, she thought I was asking to try on a B. No, up. I finally got a D and it too was too small in the cup and even bigger in the band. And the saleswoman tried to tell me how the center won't ever rest on the skin. It was a crappy experience to say the least. (I went to another store and was fitted as a 28F - just to give you a sense how incredibly inaccurate the measuring tape here is.) The selection in this location isn't great either. In fact, it felt quite limited. And I found their lingerie and pajamas rather unappealing. In sum, this is definitely not the place to come if you are needing to be measured / fitted for a bra. read more

This is the best bra store ever. They carry a large variety of sizes and it makes me so happy that they carry mine. The sales associates really want to make you feel comfortable in whatever bra you're going home with and select several different sizes to ensure that you're nicely situated. I've gotten bras, panties and shape-wear and all are sturdy and good quality. They're reasonably priced and constantly have sales. If ever in need of a strapless bra for larger cups, this is the store to go to. I highly recommend the stunning support bra. I'm a bit bustier with a smaller frame so I went a band size up and it held up even with the band slightly loose. This is my forever bra store and I don't think there will ever be a company so diverse in sizes that is so accessible to women. read more

Worst Experience Ever!!!! First time ordering online with Soma. On the phone for over an hour because the computer kept saying verify address which I kept doing and my address was correct. Every time I verified my address it still would not go through. Was on hold for over an hour and when the lady pickup I started telling her the issue and she hung up on me. Did not even try to call me back. In the mean time, 2 hours later and still could not place my order, then my merchandise was no longer available. If she had not hung up on me and assisted me I would have gotten my order. Bad experience for PJs you can get cheaper somewhere else. read more
