I went in today looking for a handbag for my sis in law. While I was browsing I witness something that made me feel uncomfortable as a customer. A woman (she's the supervisor apparently, later I found out her name is Laurie, or Lori) chewed up one of her female fellow staff for being too nice to the customers. The staff offered her customers brand new bags from the back instead of having them buying display items. I overheard Laurie/Lori said she shouldn't be offering that and if a customer wants a new bag she should ask if there's sth wrong with the display bag first before doing so. The conversation was loud enough that I was able to hear it from 4-5 feet away. I totally understand her point and concern, however, it was very unprofessional to scold her staff like that in front of all customers and other staff right at the spot. She could've done it in private. And based on how loud she was, in my mind I was thinking, maybe she didn't think her customer understand what she was saying? She pretty much made a scene obvious enough that caught my attention from 4-5 feet away. read more

An employee by the name of Michael assisted me and wow was I impressed!! He made me feel so comfortable it was like I was shopping with a friend. He recommended a couple of items to me and we just started talking. My parents came in as well and he was more than a gentleman. He opened the door for my mother who was in a wheelchair. He got my father a cup of water and a chair so he could sit while we shopped. If that wasn't enough customer service he went into so much detail about the different brands (I was looking at some bags from other stores as well) that it was amazing. And he didn't talk s*** about the other brands. He had positives and negatives for them which I was happy with (most people sell their brands too hard). When I was debating he even recommended I go to the store and snap a picture so he could see and compare them, and that he would wait with me parents while I went. I did just that and when I got back we decided that the Michael Kors bag was perfect for me. We spent some more time talking and it turns out we have a lot in common, including him wanting to get into my career field and is from the state my parents live. I asked him if he would get in trouble for spending so much time with us, and he said "I would rather have you guys leave with a great experience then get in and out with nothing to remember". WOW!!!! My mother and I ended up getting a bag and wallet each. The cashiers and other sales people were more than friendly as well. If you go to this store see Michael. I promise you, you will not be disappointed. He isn't a pushy salesmen. He genuinely wants you to be happy with something you are buying and I'm sure even if it isn't at his store you will be just as pleased with the service as I was. I can not compare the service I got here to any other place (even high end stores like Gucci, Prada, Tori Burch, etc). This experience will bring me back here any time I need a new bag. This place was a dream come true. Michael Kors is one of my favorite designer brand and I was in heaven here. Really good selection and sales all around. Misty was helping me find my new purses. I described exactly what I liked to her and she found just about everything I liked. I also love that the cashiers offer on sale wallets to go with your purses at the register. Very helpful. To keep the story short, I ended up buying about 7 purses and 4 wallets. Very happy with all my purchases from here. Can't wait for another shopping spree! read more

Quality wallets and handbags. I particularly love the classic wallet selection that will last a lifetime. Highly recommend going on a "sale" day such as Labor Day or Black Friday to get the best deals possible! I went into this store with the full intention of buying a purse and a wallet, I previously did research to see what style I wanted and I was ready to buy. However when I walked in on 2/15/12 around 1pm I was not greeted which really frustrated me because there were at least 4 employees in that small store. It got worse during my 30 min experience that I seen sales associates greeting only those who looked like they had money. I was still never greeted or spoke to my entire visit. I went to shop to this store during black Friday this year. I was helped by a gentleman that was using like an iPhone instead of a register to charge me for my stuff. As soon as I was prompted to sign it the device said it lost network. I told the sales associate that it had gone through because it prompted me to sign. Now I was told by their manager and I was guaranteed it did not charge on my credit card so they decided to ring me up on a register this time. I was charged and later I go home and find out the next day that it had charged me twice... I was very upset so I can the store and I was transferred to a so called manager that said "What form of a payment did you use?" I let her know a credit card so her answer was " This thing happens all the time you can just call your credit card company and they can remove because it did not go through on our end. I was in shock when she told me that. Very dissatisfied I am going on two weeks now and still have not received my money back... Very upsetting that this store works this way. read more

Went in today 8/20 to get my best friend a gift and the service was AWFUL since the minute I walked in. It wasn't busy today because it's Monday so the store was empty, probably a total of 5-8 other shoppers inside. When I walked in the worker standing at the front made eye contact with me, he didn't welcome me or hand me the paper that says the 60% off throughout the store or whatever. He looked rude and unfriendly. Nobody approached me to ask if I needed help. When I was looking for help nobody helped me, finally a worker decided to help me but I didn't even need the help anymore. When I went to checkout to pay for my item the worker asked if anyone helped me I said "nope" with a frustrated tone, and I told her nobody helped me when I needed help, so she asked if I still needed the help and I told her not anymore. She didn't even apologize. Obviously this store judges you based on how you look and whether they think you're going to buy something or not. read more

I'm very disappointed from my visit. No one approach me or even ask if I needed help. All the associates were just standing around talking to each other or just trying to look cute. Some customers had to come up to them and ask them for help. They don't help out customers based on what they are wearing. Buyer beware. This store will not give a cash refund even with a receipt. Have never had any issues with returns at the coach outlet. I had purchased a bag and when I got home and put my stuff in there I didn't like the way the pockets were. 1 week later with my receipt in hand, the clerk told me they NEVER issue a refund, only store credit. I have never heard of such a policy ever. This is a terrible policy and not customer focused. I will never purchase anything from this store again because of this policy. read more

Dont let them fool you (not just the stores and outlets..but the company themselves) about the "one year warranty"...its actually "30 days,..then its up to their disgression". You get a 1-800 number...then you have to send it in...then they inspect it..then it goes on from there. It could be a weeks long process. Dont think that you can just go exchange it their local store. Its really a shame they dont share that little note with you when they gloat about warranty. Keep in mind we visited the store on memorial day so you can imagine the large amount of people visiting the store however this did not prevent the staff from being attentive to the customers and maintaining the store clean. I would seriously give 0 stars. My mother had the most traumatic experience at the Michael Kors at Cabazon - Desert Hills today. The store manager denied my mother's service dog. My mother came in with her 97 old year father and they were basically stopped at the door. It caused such a scene, that the associates and customers were watching and laughing. My mom suffers from anxiety and she was so emotionally distraught that she just left the outlet all together. First time arriving to this store, i has previously been to other michael kors and leaving unsatisfied for their customer service, i thought all the michael kors would be the same. But as arriving to this location i admittedly felt welcoming and there was this kid who was dancing and welcoming the guest which was the main reason i went inside thinking the environment was fun and exiting. I remember his name exactly because he gave me the best customer service i had from really any other stores even if i did make an exchange he still gave me great service. I recommend going with Manny because at the same time he is helping you he also becomes a quick friend of yours. I went inside and bought a Hamilton PVC white, Manny explain to me the features of it and ask if it was for me which i found very funny and i felt comfortable asking questions. Soon later i went pick out a dress which another lovely girl name Kimberly help me with it, so was sweet and beautiful. At the end of my experience i had a great time with Manny and Kimberly whoam i have never met before, talking to them felt like i knew them as long friends, i really recommend coming here for all your MK purchases since as well they have a wide of selection and the greatest service i have received, and ask for Manny or Kimberly these guys know their talking about and you come out of that store satisfied and wanting to come back again. read more
