Chicken Fried Chicken, Side Green Beans, Side French Fries
John W.

I had a good experience at Mia's table. Good place. Not mind blowing - but pretty good food. I'd recommend. The chicken fried chicken was good. It was nice and tender. I almost wish the batter was a bit more crispy. Also - it could've used a bit more flavor. Maybe more flavorful gravy? But it was cooked well and was pretty yummy. As for the sides - I was letdown by the French fries... they were dry and also a little bland. The Texas toast was good though & the green beans were nice and flavorful. The Mac and cheese was decent too. I was impressed with the service here. No line to order & even with a packed restaurant our food came out super quick. Which was awesome because we were starving!! The ambiance gave classic cafeteria vibes. Lots of seating and some nice decorations. They have both indoor and outdoor seats. This is an "order at the counter" place (which surprised me at first). Parking was a bit of a challenge. We had to park in the overflow garage across the street.

We ordered the fried chicken and the tender plate. Each one came with two sides. Here's our thoughts: Fried chicken : 4/5 not greasy and seasoned Mashed potatoes: 2/5 needs salt! Green Beans: 2/5 needs seasoning Tenders- smaller than we hoped they'd be 2.5/5 Mac n cheese : 2/5 no flavor, overcooked mushy noodles Jalapeno gravy: very good and not too spicy 4/5 Potato salad: way too much mustard meant that's all we could taste 1/5 Overall it was ok but it could've been great.

Small parking lot but they're an adjacent parking garage for free. You walk in and order and pay then find a seat. We were going to be a group of 9 so while my bf stood in line I went and put tables together to save, even at around 1i was able to find a table for 9 plus a table for 4 next to it so I just slid them together, a worker there was nice enough to jump in and help me. I ordered the chicken fried steak with jalapeño gravy with green beans and mashed potato yum. There's a perfect ratio of meat to rhe breading. And the breading was busy slightly crisp, it's perfect! Green beans are seasoned perfectly and the mashed potatoes were great with brown gravy. They serve free ice cream but if you're hankering for an milk shake, I love their strawberry milkshake!!! I definitely recommend this place if you haven't been.

Mia's Table is a the definition of southern comfort. From the checkered table clothes to the old school decorations, the restaurant feels like a classic brought into the modern era. Their menu is very expansive, having a large selection of fried foods, sandwiches, salads, and more. My personal favorites are the Chicken Fried Chicken and the Turkey Burger. All of their sides are top-notch as well. Make sure you grab a malt - they're the best! Food is always fast, and there's a decent-sized parking lot which is something I always appreciate. Mia's falls short of 5 stars because some items are not as good as others. I can't help but try different dishes at restaurants, especially when there are so many options! But I think Mia's has lost its focus by having a bloated menu. I have not been a big fan of their fried seafood options as they don't have much flavor at all. The Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich was also a bit disappointing. But if you order the right things, you can definitely have a 5 star experience here!

My sister and I went on Friday and AGAIN today, Sunday. Lol The menu is terrific as it keeps st about covers all food groups! The service was outstanding. There were plenty of seats both inside and outside on a patio and deck. Foodies! The food was excellent! I had the Nashville chicken sandwich which had a delish flavor with a jalapeño cream sauce. Not too spicy just good! I had sweet potato fries. Definitely get those! Today is had the Tortilla soup with a side Taco salad. The soup was great. Sister had a Chicken Fried steak and thought it was yummy. Go, enjoy, and say hello to Jorge. Best manager ever-your team rocks!

Amazing. My relative put me on to Mia's I've been to this location twice but also visited the Woodlands/Spring location. The only difference in taste is the strawberry lemonade I can tell the one in the woodlands location is different and better but other than that I get the same thing every time I go. Chicken fried chicken, potatoes or mac and cheese and green beans. Wish the gravy was over the mashed potatoes as well but overall great price and great food. Nachos is a must everytime we go as a starter!!!!!!

The giant pretzel we ordered for appetizer was excellent, highlight of the meal. The sourdough pizzas were pretty thin, overall I'd give the pizzas a 3/5. Of the 4 pizzas we tried, my personal ranking: 1. Spicy Goat 2. Duck Duck Shroom 3. Heirloom Margherita 4. Sweet & Spicy Pepperoni. Service was also disorganized and a little slow. I'd come back if I'm craving that pretzel.

Downstairs has warmer lights and a kinda delicate feel. Anyhow, Let me just cut straight to it. Honestly I expected more from the food, they were just meh. The chicken wings could do with some flavor and its presentation needs fixing, maybe cut them. The wings were also dry and we had to ask for ketchup so maybe add some of the syrup to it or offer gravy. We enjoyed the oxtail omelet even though a few of my party thought it needed a little salt to boost it. The fried green tomatoes could have a dipping sauce but the famous chilli biscuits were well received. The country Benedict is a fried boil egg. The croissant French toast was delicious and sweet enough to eat without syrup, which is how I had it. I would get the oxtail omelette or the croissant French toast myself, if I come back. For drinks we tried the Moscow mule and peach mimosas. The peach mimosa was a little medicinal tasting, so I'd recommend the original mimosa.

So look, I am all about great food, and this place is really amazing. I saw this place while I was…read morewaiting at a light and thought who doesn't love Southern cooking? But, I do have some things I want to say. First, there is absolutely no signage or anything that explains what the items are, or even the basic whether you seat your self or not. It's kinda cafeteria style, you pick up a tray and silverware and then give them your choices. I did get it explained to me after standing at the counter looking like an idiot for a few minutes. I kind of fell in behind a couple of guys that came in right after me, I let them go because I had no idea. Second, there is nothing to tell you how much things cost. Protein Choices were smothered pork chops, meatloaf, chicken, turkey wings, fish and... wait for it.. oxtails. Now I know some of you are thinking HARD PASS on oxtails, but believe me, these are a rarity to find on a menu, I would say because of the cost, but also because they aren't quick to prepare. If you are offering oxtails on your menu, you have to have plenty on hand and be confident in your dish. Micheaux's hits the mark. Third, and this is very important, the food PLENTIFUL, and I do mean truly two people could probably eat what I got served. personally, I LOVE oxtails, but because nobody else in my house would even consider eating these, (they are not with me) and because they are super expensive in the store, I rarely make it for just myself. So of course I ordered the oxtails., it's served with rice, and two additional sides and cornbread. I ordered greens and green beans. It was pricey , like 37.00 before the tip, and as I was paying I was cursing myself for spending so much for lunch but..It's so delicious! I do think that the prices should be posted somewhere because ( and this is why it's getting 4 of 5 stars) I never would have ordered this knowing I would not be able to take it with me to reheat for later. I wish this wasn't an impulse stop while I was driving somewhere else . I don't know how the guys that were ahead of me put it all away in record time. They left before I started the review. I stopped eating to do the review because I want to eat more before I leave this area of town. I don't think this will travel well, especially if I can't reheat it. OMG, the man next to me just ate all of his food and just ordered a piece of chocolate cake that is making my mouth water. How am I supposed to finish what is in front of me and think about the cake too? I also want to mention that I erroneously picked up a salt shaker before I started to eat... Not needed, nothing needed salt at all, everything was perfectly seasoned. Well, I am calling it, I will take the rest with me and figure something out. Maybe one day I will be in the area again.
