Be careful that they don't overcharge you if you go in and you tell them you don't want jail it…read moredoesn't matter they will give you jail and then they will charge you for it a fill-in for acrylic which normally cost about $28-$30 They wanted to charge 57 and then she acted like she didn't speak English when I said I wasn't happy

I've had a few episodes of miscommunication that I've tried to write off. However, it's happened…read moreenough where I'm going elsewhere to get my nails done from now on. A couple months ago, I made an appointment through their website during business hours. When I came at the appointed time, the door was locked. I called and someone picked up and told me she was sick and to make an appointment for a different day, even though my initial appointment had been placed and I had gotten a confirmation text. I didn't even get a discount for coming on a different day after driving to their shop initially, and finding them closed during business hours and with a scheduled appointment. This week, I received a birthday text to get $10 off my next visit. I had gotten my nails done a week ago and they were already chipped but I figured I would just come get them done again instead of asking for them to be redone, since there was a decent discount. The same person who had done my nails last week, which chipped, did my nails this time. The job was rushed and I had to ask my nail person to clean up the edges before leaving because he wanted to send me out with paint still on my skin around the nails on both hands. This poor service was already concerning. When I got to the cash register I showed them the $10 off text and they told me it was only for certain services so they wouldn't give me the discount, even though none of that was stated in the text. I asked them if they would send out these stipulations with their texts in the future because otherwise it's misleading. They told me no. I still paid them and tipped decently even though I honestly felt like giving them no tip with how bad the service was. This was more a reflection of me trying to bring my own emotions under control and be a better person, than any reflection of their service which was very poor. But I no longer plan to come to them in the future. The problem isn't just the service...it's the refusal to improve communication even after I've spoken with them about it and given them multiple chances to improve. Update: it's been less than 24 hours and my nails are already chipped again. The excuse is that it's regular polish. I've had my nails done with regular polish by other nail salons and it lasts more than a day. Making excuses for poor work and doing nothing to improve, is unacceptable in my opinion.

We just moved to the area so I started looking for a shop that did quality pedicures. For me,…read morequality is not rushed, minimum 45 minutes and overall relaxing. My shop before is kind of far away, so figured I give a new spot a try. Based on the reviews this sounded like a great place to go. Numerous reviews stating comfy pedicures that weren't rushed and were relaxing. This was KEY for me. Now, my other shop is a force to be reckoned with so this sounded like the same vibe. Unfortunately, it fell very short for me. The first thing I rarely do is book a pedicure without the amount of time stated on their menu. Which this place did not have, but did state how long the massage would be during the service you picked. We did Vin's pedicure which included an 8 minute massage. Do I feel like I was massaged for 8 minutes? Not really. Not only that, the service was done in 30 minutes. The color I picked was not cleaned up around the edges and my pinky toe had a piece of nail that wasn't even polished. For me, the quality is just not there. Attention to detail was lacking and it's honestly not something I want anyone to fix per se, because it should have already been done in the first place. Last but certainly not least, my feet were so dry when I left. No cuticle oil or anything. For what we paid, I wasn't impressed and would rather spend more for a quality pedi vs a turn and burn pedi. Now the pros: nice massage chairs, complimentary drink and they offer wine as well. The 2nd drink you would have to pay for.

I'm very picky and read reviews on many many places and I'm SO glad I took a chance here! This place blew my home nail salon out of the water and I would gladly and quickly return any chance I get. I got the peppermint pedicure and it was so relaxing and worth the money. My manicure looks incredible I am overjoyed with how it turned out! The attention to detail here is outstanding. Coming here left me feeling so relaxed and so so happy with my fingernails and toes . Thank you so much Vin Nails & Spa you guys are the BEST!!!!!!

A 100% yes on the quality of massage and healing experience. This should be on all health…read moreprofessional's list of recommended professional massage therapy practices.

I booked a "Therapeutic Table Massage" with Shannon Trudeau and had a very traumatic experience…read more When I arrived I explained to her I like firm pressure and was having issues with my shoulders and neck and upper back being very tight and I would like to primarily focus on those areas. The first 30 minutes of my massage were her guiding some sort of yoga nidra exercise with no actual massaging. I had to ask her when the massage would actually start. She seemed to have a huge ego about the request and continued her guided exercise. Once she did start "massaging" me, it was just her placing her hands on my body very lightly and doing static holds on trigger points. I explained to her I would Like more muscle stimulation in the form of a faster deeper massage but she didn't listen to my requests and kept doing the things she was doing that I did not ask for. She didn't pay attention tho the specific areas that I came in to address and spent most of the time on my arms and legs. She talked the majority of the massage and kept instructing me to take deep breaths. I do not come in to this for a therapy session which is what it felt like. The table was cold and so was the room. I had to ask her to turn the heat on the table mid session because I was freezing and her hands were freezing. She did not seem to have any knowledge of anatomy, massage, or draping. After the session was over she sat me down and wanted to go over her "findings" and it felt really uncomfortable having someone tell me all the areas in my body she noticed I was tight but not actually using the time I paid for to resolve any of those issues. I did not book a trigger point massage, a reiki session, or a therapy session. I mentioned to her multiple times I was not wanting the type of "massage" she gave me and she said that "energetically we may not be a good fit" - in my option this is such a rude thing to say to someone who was very clear about the massage I wanted to receive and requested it multiple times only to be completely ignored - probably because this person is not educated enough or capable of doing actual massage. This practitioner is borderline harmful and should not be practicing any healing modality. I felt disgusting after leaving her session. I felt completely ignored and judged. I debated weather or not I should leave this review but after experiencing this I wanted other people to know the potential harms of booking with this practitioner. Please remove her from "therapeutic table massage" because she didn't actually massage me and this is really misleading for customers.
