We were visiting from out of town and we had a very good experience at pizza king. The pizza was just your average pizza, but it was still good. The man that was working behind the counter was very nice and kind and provided great customer service. The vibe was a typical hole in the wall type of pizza place. They have very unique Indian flavor pizzas as well as traditional styles and flavors of pizza. We enjoyed it. Again, nothing special, just your average pizza, but still good. We are vegetarian and they have a large selection of vegetarian pizzas. They are open late hours as well, which was convenient. I recommend Pizza king for your pizza cravings and especially late night pizza cravings.

Whenever we visit Bellingham from Vancouver, we go to Mi Mexico! Every time we come here the staff is so friendly welcoming. We typically go for lunch and usually busy on the weekends. The decor is inviting like a warm hug with "my house is your house" feel. We always see all sorts for guests from families with kids to solo. Once you get seated, there will get a basket of homemade tortilla chip with salsa! They do have a lunch special menu and there are a lot of yummy items to choose from. The portions are huge which I can never finish my meal. My husband always order any with mole sauce, I typically order anything with corn tortilla. We don't consume alcohol but my friend said their margaritas are impressive and strong!

Salsa: really great, good flavor, not too much oregano, and big chunks of onion. Cheese enchiladas: fat cheesy and saucy, so so good folks, and the beans and rice were really delicious as well. They have coleslaw instead of salad, my husband loved it. Service: people were stellar, food came quickly, and they also left us to hang out and talk. Great place! So happy to find some more delicious Mexican food.

My sister and I came in for dinner. We were greeted by a friendly staff member at the front desk, but things turned sour very quickly. Our server had a bad attitude, and this was noticeable before we even ordered. But right away, it was a red flag. Ordering my dinner seemed to go find until my food arrived. It wasn't what i had ordered. My server chose to argue with me that it was my fault. I decided to dig my heels in and have her explain her thought process. She finally fixed my order when I asked her directly to bring me the food that I asked for. It was a tense situation, and I let the manager know how we felt when we left. The restaurants vibe was a typical, cheerful Mexican restaurant.

The service is outstanding with this restaurant. Tables bussed swiftly and glasses kept full. The food was fresh and serviced on a hot plate. Decorating is typical of a family style dining experience.

I haven't had a lot of authentic Mexican food to really comment but it is a very popular place. I enjoy my Taco Bell. Lol The platters are huge! I had a small combo for about $15 of 1 taco and 1 enchilada. It is quite heavy and I ended up taking the enchilada portion home. Most of the menu appears on the heavier side. I do love the fresh tortilla chips and salsa they bring out at the beginner of the meal that is on the house.

I'm pretty disappointed... this place used to be a staple when we came into town to run errands. The last few times though I've noticed less and less meat in my burrito. The carne asada is now basically a rice and bean burrito. Most of my time eating was spent searching for meat. I expected more from Mi Mexico but unfortunately it's the direction everything is going... less quantity and or quality for more $$ Please do better

Yummy fajitas were just the thing that was needed on that snowy week in January! I was in the area for work and was so glad I was able to get into the parking lot at MM so I could indulge in yummy Mexican food! I had been looking at the menu for days and finally ventured out after it stopped snowing. I'm so glad I did. The shrimp fajitas I ordered were generous in portion size and made for a couple of meals for me. The order was ready when they said it would be, and it was hot and delicious. I will return the next time I'm in the area for sure!

We've been doing cross border shopping trips for years, and eating at the same places over and over again for years. Not that we don't still enjoy our old haunts, but with the advent of social media in its various forms, we're finally discovering some wonderful new places to eat at when we cross the border. After reading multiple reviews about Mi Mexico restaurant, we decided to give it a try. It's so close to the Bellis Fair Shopping Mall, I can't believe how long it's taken us to discover this place. On our table: Cheese quesadilla, Tamale and Enchilada Combo, and Veggie Enchiladas. We were served a basket of complimentary tortilla chips and salsa after we were seated. It's such a simple offering but this is often one of my favourite parts about going to a Mexican restaurant. Especially if the tortilla chips are warm when they're brought to the table! My Veggie Enchiladas were topped with a carrot puree. This is something new that I've never encountered at any other Mexican restaurant, and I do enjoy trying new things. Everything was delicious and even though my husband is a meat eater, it seemed like the refried beans were what impressed him the most. He enjoyed the beans so much, he ended up buying some refried beans to bring home when we went shopping in a supermarket later that day. Service: Good Parking: Free and plentiful Location: 241 Telegraph Rd. , in a small plaza across the street from Bellis Fair Mall.

Cheese enchiladas, rice and beans, and a cabbage salad. This is quintessential Mexican food, simple, and perfect. The thing I look for, are the beans. Are they smooth or lumpy, because they're supposed to be lumpy. These refried beans are lumpy nuggets of deliciousness. I think the hardest thing to do is to not overcook the rice. Which they didn't. Well cooked, expertly seasoned. The inside of the restaurant was pretty, clean, and well-maintained. The service was quick and timely, just the right attention at just the right time.

I finally tried this place after six years of living in Bellingham. What a pleasant surprise! The inside is large and spacious, and all the servers are friendly. Parking is abundant at this establishment. The food are reasonably priced and delicious. They have a huge selection from their menu (i.e., burrito, carne asada, fajita, etc.). This is a family style restaurant that I would love to go back again in the future.

June 2022. Mole enchiladas come with 2 enchiladas
    Carolyn L.

The staff here is very friendly, with good service. Check out the board when you enter for the special of the day. It was mole enchiladas ($10.50, usual lunch price $10.99) when I was there. The lunch menu (11am to 3pm daily) is definitely a better deal. The prices are $10.99-$12.50 for lunch. The place is quite big and I love the decors and muted desert colors here. Chips and house made salsa (quite spicy) are complimentary. I do not get that often now in Mexican restaurants, especially up in Vancouver, BC. I decided to get the mole chicken enchiladas and it was pretty good. Gooey melty cheese on the refried beans. It came with rice and coleslaw. It was very filling and I could not finish it and the chips. This was the first time I could taste chocolate in the mole. Then I read not all mole has chocolate, so I guess if you want a hint of chocolate in your mole, come here. Lots of parking in the plaza and out front.

I've lived in and around Bellingham for my entire life and somehow never realized this spot existed. What a find! For starters the reviews were great, but the parking lot was full when we arrived at 1pm on a random Wednesday which is typically a good sign that this is the spot. The entrance lives up to the name with a beautiful arched door to welcome you in. The space is large and airy with a ton of visual interest. We were told there was a 5-15 minute wait but it was very quick before we were seated in the bustling dining room. Our server was attentive and very friendly. Seeing the food and amazing coffee/hot chocolate drinks being delivered was genuinely exciting us. With peaches in season, peach blintzes and French toast were on special. The server recommended the blintzes so that's what I ordered. When they arrived she told me that if I didn't like them they would switch them out which was a nice offer but I absolutely loved them. I also ordered the fancy Vienesse coffee which was a true treat! Overflowing with homemade whip it was amazing, but not super hot. My hubby ordered the Buttermilk breakfast which was two pancakes, one egg, bacon, fruit and included coffee and juice. The house coffee was delish which was a very nice to have. He also ordered a side of sourdough bread which was amazing with the homemade jelly. My daughter ordered the kids chocolate chip pancakes and devoured them. The only complaint was that it was a little on the spendy side, but when you consider that it's literally all homemade ingredients it's absolutely worth it. Can't believe we've slept on this place for so long. Will definitely be back!

Really enjoyed the baked French Ham & Cheddar omelet. Plenty for us to split. They have excellent butter that enhances their already great pancakes. The pancakes were included with the omelet. Pretty proud of their biscuits but we thought ours was overcooked. We enjoyed eating the soft middle inside, but left the crusty outside. And we're not raspberry preserve folks. I love fresh raspberries but just can't do any other raspberry items. Tried the preserves but just not for me. Probably won't order the bacon again either. Good flavor but thick cut and hard to cut/chew. We'll be back!!

On a cold day, the soup was especially comforting. The burger itself was well prepared and flavorful. Wonderful food and drinks. I started with oyster shooters (Willapa Bay) along with a Lion's Tail cocktail. Sierra said the bourbon and lime complement each other. I wouldn't have thought so and thought it a bit of an odd choice. But she was right and I was wrong: it was fabulous. One of the most delicious drinks I've ever had, for my tastes. She gave me several recommendations for dinner. I picked the Jalapeño Chicken. It was luscious and flavorful, but the best part of it was my choice of Balsamic Brussels sprouts as my side--oh my! We ordered drinks and food, but after more than 40 minutes, we noticed two tables seated after us had already been served, finished eating, and were leaving. At that point, we asked for the check and said we would not be staying. About 15 minutes later, the server returned with our food instead of the check. We declined the meal and sent it back. He then asked if we wanted it boxed to go, which we also declined. His reaction suggested frustration rather than understanding. We never got to try the food, so we can't comment on it. I have been coming to this restaurant since I was a young boy, attending special family dinners or just going to get pizza after soccer practice. Now well into adulthood I still find myself coming here with my wife for an excellent dining experience, any time or day of the week. This week we decided to go in for brunch, and I couldn't think of a better place to spend a dreary Washington morning. When you walk into this cozy little restaurant the smells of fresh breads and fried potatoes invite you into an elevated breakfast experience. Our hostess sat us down at a table almost immediately with the same friendly smile and welcoming attitude that I have come to expect from the staff at the fork. After sitting down and sipping of fresh squeezed orange juice we ordered two of our favorite breakfast plates. Chicken Fried Steak, and Corned Beef Hash. The Corned Beef Hash consisted two poached eggs sitting on a heaping pile of shredded corned beef that was both crispy and tender. Typically this dish is served with peppers and onions, but on this trip my wife opted out and the chef was happy to oblige our request. I can say from prior experiences that the peppers and onions are a fantastic addition to this mix. I went with the Chicken fried steak. A classic breakfast that requires a large appetite to face on your own! The cube steak was breaded and fried with the traditional seasonings, then covered in a house made gravy that was so rich and flavorful I couldn't put my fork down. I ordered mine with over medium eggs that were cooked perfectly, something that other kitchens can rarely get right. If you are a fan of Chicken Fried Steak then you must try this one! Both of our plates came with a large portion of golden brown home fries, and a fluffy biscuit served with honey butter and a peach preserve. Our server was extremely nice and very attentive. Although the restaurant was fairly busy she made sure our every need was taken care of :) I once again left the fork feeling full, and extremely satisfied. If the doors to this amazing restaurant are open, I will definitely be coming back again and again.
