INCREDIBLE. I am blown away by the fabrication MGH did on our Cristallo. It's a very difficult stone to work with and everything turned out absolutely beautifully. They are true artists and really know what they are doing. We had them do two waterfalls on the island, a extra tall backsplash with shelf and an Ogee edge around the sink. We were referred to MGH Granite Workz by a slab company to install a new counter. We decided we liked our current countertop, but hated the shiny finish, which had yellowed a bit over the years. We called Jackie at MGH and she was able to come out the same day and give us an estimate. Her husband, Manny was able to schedule us in the same week. He showed up on time with his crew. MGH was able to "hone", which is to sand off the existing finish, which removed the yellowing and refinished it with a satin sealer. They covered all of the flooring and "tented" the entire kitchen area to minimize the mess and completed the job in one day. All of them were nice and professional. The job was top notch and the price was very competitive. We love our "new" countertop and I highly recommend this company. read more

We have now had MGH Granite Workz do three different projects for us. The first was our very small bathroom countertop, the second was an all custom outdoor BBQ top and most recently kitchen countertops and backsplash. Manny and his team put in new countertops in our kitchen. He was a sub to our general contractor, but we interacted directly with him throughout the process except for pricing. I was satisfied with the price I paid the g.c. for fabrication. Top line: Outstanding work, great to work with. Manny met us at the stone yard where we had picked our quartzite slab style and helped us find the best two. He came to our home and did his templates and we went to the stone yard again where he taped the templates up onto the slabs and we decided the best layout for the highly-textured stone. Then he took the slabs to his shop and nine days later installed them. They were gorgeous but my wife wanted the edges rounded a bit and I had a couple of small items that I wanted fixed. Manny was back two days later and addressed everything. The result is simply stunning. Artistic. The mitered edges roll up to the countertops as if the stone was 1-1/2" thick. Everything is straight and level and tight. Wonderfully! Manny is super nice to work with. Prompt. Fast. Attention to detail. Most highly recommended! read more

Manny, his crew (Lani, Roman, Charlie and Edgar) and his sister Jackie are hard working and communicative, passionate professionals who try to do the right thing at the end of the day. I currently have some quality issues w/ the stone but they want to work with me to do what is right to fix it and have the talent to do so. Obviously I was not happy about the issues (who would be) but you can see they do care for their customers and stand behind their work and trust placed in them and have the experience. Problems are bound to happen from time to time unfortunately but it's the integrity one has to bring proper solutions with emphasis on the customer experience. I'm confident and optimistic that will be the end result and will update with much better pictures. I just finished a kitchen renovation. I found MGH Granite Workz on Yelp. I contacted Jackie and we went over the details about the kitchen setup and the measurements. Jackie was very professional and went over the process in details. As we were going over the setup of my kitchen and the countertops/backsplash I was very impressed about her knowledge, excellent communication skills and detailed prompt responses. She sent me an estimate and I went ahead with it. After that I worked with Manual on the templates layout. He had some really great ideas and recommendations. He just seemed to be on top of his game. Most of all, when I met with Manual I was also impressed with his professionalism. He just seemed really trustworthy and honest. Very refreshing to see that in this business. We replaced our 120" kitchen/sink countertop and did not want a unsightly seam as we previously had. MGH/Manny was able to fabricate the countertop without a seam. Most of the other fabricators did not want to take the risk and insisted on a seam. Working with Jackie in the office and Manny was a pleasant experience. Terrible experience. The stone mason's manager/client liaison is his extremely unprofessional wife. She tried to tell us we needed a full demo, which her husband said was not necessary after we explained what we wanted and he came in person to see the project. Then she attempted to up charge by adding extra work we didn't approve. And ultimately, tried to get us the sign a contract saying we'd pay 50% deposit in advance of any work, with no estimated dates of completion (on our own stone which was brought to them) and they would take no responsibility for replacement or comp for damage to our stone. Needless to say, it was a terrible waste of our time and we got the work done in 10 days with a professional company for nearly half of what they were trying charge after a month of back and forth. When we had the new company pick up our stone, his rude, petty wife made sure to take an hour lunch so they were as "unavailable" as possible. Avoid this "company" at all costs if you expect anything close to professionalism. read more

I just had Quartzite kitchen countertops installed by Manny and I can't speak highly enough about the excellent quality of his work and the talent he has. He had a nice way of showcasing the veins and patterns of the stone, and also lined the veins in the countertop up beautifully into the backsplash so the whole project flowed so beautifully. He was friendly, answered all questions and was careful to be sure we were on the same page with the project. He showed up when he stated he would and appreciated how he got right to work without delay. Manny did a wonderful job installing 4 counters for me. I had 3 granite bathroom counters and one granite top for the laundry room. He had some exceptionally beautiful remnants that I was able to utilize for my laundry room and one even large enough for my master bathroom. I found his pricing to be very fair. Living in RSF, we frequently experience the service provider makeup due to the zip code, however, Manny was fairly priced. The installations went well and the end result is beautiful.
