Fantastic communication and help . From the start we were happy with the knowledge of products . The more I explained what I wanted in color and style the more was brought to us . Then the extra care the workers did was amazing. Baseboards and the finish work. They even did extra things for me that they didn't have to . Like carrying the old toilets downstairs for us. It felt really good to support our new town of La Mesa ca. Thank uuuuuuu. read more

If you're looking for the type of flooring that looks like hardwood but is an engineered laminate type then this is your place. Sooo many options that to me all look the same. I was not looking for that. I needed colorful tile options. They carry one example of that but it wasn't what I was looking for. The staff is undertrained. One man said Armstrong had gone out of business and no longer made the type I was looking for. Another overheard him and corrected him. Unfortunately the only sample book they had was with a client. They did offer to try and get the book back for me to take a look and a few days later did call to let me know they had the book in the store. Unfortunately it was too late. After my experience at La Mesa Flooring I found Rayo who had everything I needed and within two days had all of my tile ready to go. So if you're looking for wood stuff that looks like everyone else Ka Mesa Flooring might be for you. read more

From start to finish, the team at La Mesa Flooring was a pleasure to work with. Brad, Sam and the entire installation crew were all exceptional. Our family had an excellent experience with La Mesa Flooring to extend and refinish an old oak floor and replace another linoleum floor with an oak floor. Based on our experience, I can highly recommend them. Everything was excellent: * Up front information about options (Dylan) * Evaluation and estimates (Dylan) * Clear communication throughout (Dylan and Shawn) * High quality work (Shawn) The work: * Bedroom: Extended an existing original oak floor into an add-on portion, replacing the carpet and underlying particle board with new oak floor, and then refinished the whole room. * Family Room: Replaced a linoleum tiled floor over particle board with new oak floor which was then stained and finished. Our family is very happy with the results in the two rooms. read more

La Mesa Flooring was a wonderful experience from start to finish. Dylan was our project manager and he was so knowledgeable, professional, and easy to work with. He helped us narrow down the most perfect flooring for our house. Our installers, David and Armando, were equally as great. They were on time, friendly, and so talented with installing the floors. They came in everyday and got right to work and finished the job in 5 days which made us so happy. We were thoroughly impressed with both of them. We had a 10/10 experience with La Mesa Flooring and can't wait to do the rest of our house! read more

La Mesa Flooring Company is amazing--especially BRAD! Brad made our COREtec Premium XL LVP project happen from start to finish. The sale wouldn't have happened without him! He guided us through selection, oversaw the flawless install, and even came back to repaint our baseboards himself when the color was slightly off. Above and beyond service--ask for Brad! read more

It's so great not to have to deal with a big box store, support a local company, and get excellent service. My husband and I hired La Mesa Flooring to install hardwood floors throughout our house, and from start to finish, Dylan was professional and a pleasure to work with--his communication was perfect throughout the process. We also genuinely enjoyed having the installation team, David and his assistant Armando, here for just over two weeks. David is an artist! Not only is his work top-quality, but they are also fun and feel like family. We will miss them, but we LOVE our new floors! I give my highest recommendation to La Mesa Flooring, Dylan, David, and Armando! read more

Terrific, no nonsense service from a great local business! They made things easy for us. The installers were incredibly professional.

Horrible installation (a five year old could have done better). They hid it by moving some furniture in front of the worst of it! They assured us they had in house installers BS! Paid $2,000 + more for Nylon vs Wool from Home Depot. The installer damaged the closet door, he didn't even reinstall it!Sadly this occurred during my out of town chemo treatments and our house sitter didn't know to check the installation. We've been told by our realtor we must either replace the carpet or at the very least we must get new baseboards. Bad experience and costly overall. Email me for video! read more

Great job on installing new kitchen floor. Brad came out and estimated for new LVT flooring in my kitchen. Prompt and thorough. Sam went on to book the install date for time period requested, working around our home schedule. The installers Carlos and Carlos were friendly, on time and thorough in working with an older home. They also kept a clean workspace and took out all the refuse. Beautiful flooring. Thank you all. read more

As for the Installers they were all kind and helpful with me moving my furnature around. also help setting up the plan of attack on the project. they always kept me informed about the Asbestos issue and was on top of getting the stuff that was needed to fix it. The sales and installation team are great. They took time to answer our questions and lead us through the various options as we chose our LVP flooring. The installation techs were great. They even adjusted their installation progress a little to allow me to touch up the paint when we decided the new baseboards would be lower than the old ones. All around a great experience. read more

If there were 10 stars for rating outstanding awesomeness, this business earned them. We purchased our flooring in 2021. Damage since occurred and we placed a call- learned there was new ownership. The project manager responded immediately and came to assess the situation. The owner and manufacturer's rep came to lend support, determining replacement was necessary. The installer needs to be cloned-the work ethic was unmatched by anything we've ever experienced-beyond the call of duty! Communication from office manager was spot on. We go beyond recommending La Mesa Flooring. We urge you to look no further when it comes to wanting a perfect flooring project with your future flooring needs. Gratitude and appreciation for exceptional service from Brad, Keith, Jesse and Sam! ALL our future flooring will be done by La Mesa Flooring. Thank you! read more

La Mesa Flooring has a great selection of flooring options I don't know how the prices compare to other retailers. The flooring is much nicer then the big box stores. We chose a vinyl and hardwood hybrid called WSPC ZODIAC in the color Taurus. I love the color and we get many compliments on the flooring. However it easily scratches and dents. Overall we are pleased with the look of the installation. There are parts that have started to moved apart. I thought maybe this was weather related no just poor installation in a few areas. Jorge and Richard were very nice and great when they could be there. What was done underneath the flooring I'm not really clear. We had the house tested for asbestos as recommended and opted for encapsulation. We were told the tile in the kitchen will be removed and then given multiple excuses of why it couldn't be removed so we ended up with a slight dip even though we paid a ton of money for leveling we were told that's the best they can do especially since they only removed part of the old flooring. We really couldn't get a straight answer from anyone and didn't feel like they were being honest. If I do business again or recommend La Mesa Flooring I would advise to do more research and compare prices and process. Get a second opinion if you need regarding floor prep. Also I would take pictures and ask the installer to explain each step so you know they are doing what you paid for. There really isn't any transparency, supervision, or accountability you have to ask or keep track of the amount of materials being used. Mark would not provide prices until he measured and when I signed the estimate he asked me to waive the 3 day cancellation. Which you shouldn't have to but now that you know the prices you may go else and find a better deal. With a complicated project you should get other bids. I felt they oversold and under delivered for $20k+ on 1200 sqft home. Mark's recommendations for asbestos/encapsulation were old and his handyman was a rip off. Just remember to take your time and do your research before going with La Mesa Flooring. Also never got a copy of the final itemized bill I requested. read more

A neighbor suggested we check out La Mesa Flooring to look at tile. While there, we noticed they were having their Spring Sale on carpeting, which we had in the back of our minds to replace.... someday. After meeting their sales rep Dylan, he showed us lots of samples and went over both the advantages of their products and the current promotions. (their prices were very competitive with the big-name carpet stores and the major home centers, with much more personalized service) Dylan was terrific to work with, a truly nice guy with no pressure; after we made the decision to go forward with the carpeting, he helped us choose upgraded padding (at no additional charge), and scheduled the installation for after we had extensive painting done in the rooms to be carpeted. The installers they contracted with were excellent; reliable, careful and conscientious about not scuffing newly painted walls and baseboards. We couldn't be more pleased with the whole process. Now we need to go back and choose some tile ;) read more

The hardwood installer was great. Shawn was professional and attentive to details. Definitely recommend.

Called to find out if this store was open (since a closer local flooring store was closed) and a gal answered the phone right away. We were looking for a specific vinyl flooring that Home Depot and Costco did not have. Took a little bit to find the model number online but were able to get a quote right away. For reference we called another store farther away (Coles) and they did not return our call same day as promised and after a return call, still took a while for them to call us back. We wanted to support somewhere local and had a better customer experience at La Mesa Flooring. The store is very nice and feels very clean. We also received prompt updates with our flooring ship status from the employee who helped us. Would recommend! read more

We bought a 100 year old house that seemed to have nice hardwood floors, but not long after moving in, it became quite clear that they were disintegrating. We contacted four different companies. First came the "hardwood whisperer" who used Mr. Miyagi wax on wax off motions claiming to be the crazy one who could actually sand and finish one more time. All subsequent companies Poo pooed that idea. Then came the company that seemed to only do manufactured wood. Then La Mesa with Dylan heard us, saw the house and agreed that it deserved to be historically restored with full hardwood. The final company that came made some strange recommendations that I don't remember. The process of selecting wood and finish was quite the process and the worker doing the project and Dylan were very collaborative. When it was discovered that our sub flooring needed help, we went with sheets of 3/4" plywood which essentially eliminated all squeaks and reduced the sound of walking in the lower level of the house. Good call! The finished product is amazing. And we are very happy we went with this company. I don't want to say some extra things they did, but they didn't complain when we needed some extra things done to finish the project. When weighed against the 80 years the floors could last, the price was well worth it. read more

I would like to thank La Mesa Flooring for the beautiful job they completed in my 75 year old cottage in La Mesa. Especially Dylan, the project manager, and Sean, the installer/craftsman, for their attention to detail of every aspect of the project. I was impressed by the level of quality and customer service provided by these folks. This was a difficult job due to the age and various surfaces of an old house with additions over the years. Dylan and Sean took all the challenges in stride and provided a outstanding job, with which I am more than pleased. Highly recommend. read more

We had a wonderful experience getting our floors replaced through La Mesa flooring from start to finish. Mark inspired us during our walk through, and helped us find the floor that matched our vision for our long-term home. Mark also prepared us for each step and communicated with us clearly throughout the process, which we greatly appreciated since it was our first exposure to a project of this size. Once we moved forward, we worked with Sam in the installation department who was also clear on timelines and expectations. Diedre, Mark, and her team shared timely updates and kept us informed. We were out of the house for most of the install, but our installer Ricardo was great, and worked quickly and efficiently. The finished product with the baseboards and quality of the flooring exceeded our expectations. The flooring looks even better than it did in the showroom and we are so excited to enjoy it for years to come. We are extremely happy with the final result, and are glad we trusted La Mesa Flooring for the project. Thanks again - Mark, Diedre, Sam, Ricardo and team! read more

La Mesa Flooring was excellent from start to finish on our project. We have an older home in Fletcher Hills that presented a few challenges as many previous renovations and reflooring had been done. We chose a luxury vinyl throughout the entire house and carpeting in the bedrooms. The materials were high quality and look amazing. Because we have an enclosed Lanai patio room, we had a very decorative and detailed set of steps built prior to the flooring installation. Dylan was an excellent source of information and helped us and the carpenter with the details prior to the build out. This gave us extra confidence and was a very professional personalized touch. We can't say enough about the quality and value that Dylan and the installers provided to us throughout the entire process. The installer, David, was a true craftsman. He assisted, supported us and navigated the two-week process without blinking an eye. There was excellent communication throughout the entire job, Dylan was on-site any time there were questions and David and Paul were so professional and personable it was like working with family. We love our flooring, have received multiple compliments from all guests and visitors and would highly recommend La Mesa Flooring and the entire team to anyone who is looking for great value, competitive pricing and high-quality craftsmanship. We love Dylan and the team at LMF and have already recommended them to our neighbor for her upcoming flooring project. The Lentz Family read more

I decided to go with La Mesa Flooring Co. because they have been in business for over 80 years and the feedback from their customers was very positive. Everything is in-house so you don't have to hire an outside contractor . I put in Wide Plank Luxury Vinyl. They did a terrific job, and were very carful with my furniture . They cleaned up each day before they left. The demo and tile guys were very nice. When my refrigerator was pulled out there was a water leak from my ice maker which I was unaware. It had over time saturated the drywall. Dylan came out to check out the problem to make sure it could be fixed so they could continue the flooring. My son-in-law fixed it and they inspected that it was okay to continue. I am very happy that they made sure everything was done right. The floor is beautiful! And I would highly recommend this Company. Linda Woods read more

We can't say enough good things about La Mesa Flooring... everyone we worked with was professional, friendly, and knowledgeable about what we were looking for (which was a somewhat obscure flooring option). When they ran into an unforeseen scheduling issue which would affect our project, they went to great effort to make sure that we were not inconvenienced... something that was VERY much appreciated. Everyone, from designer to sales to installers, went above and beyond to ensure our flooring looked amazing AND was installed correctly and on time. We have received many compliments since the project was completed and we never hesitate to recommend the crew at La Mesa Flooring. Nice to know that a long-time local business is still impressing people! read more

Looked all over San Diego for flooring before finally settling on La Mesa Flooring. It was a great decision. Dylan worked with us on our weird installation plan and was super helpful with advice we needed to consider about our purchase. We installed carpet and vinyl planks and since that's not something you do very often it was great to be able to ask lots of questions before purchasing! Carpet recommendation and installation worked out great, no problems. We are still working on the house updates but so far, we love it! read more

I am completely satisfied with my experience with La Mesa Flooring and I love my new carpet. Sales rep Mark was very helpful in providing ideas, feedback, and things to consider as I tried to choose between the many options (SO MANY OPTIONS) this company offers in their showroom. Mark was also extremely patient -- I personally took over a year to decide what I ultimately wanted to do, but I never felt any pressure to choose or move forward with something I didn't want. The carpet was installed by Sam, who did an excellent job and completed two bedrooms, two closets and a hallway in about 3.5 hours. I will definitely use La Mesa Flooring for any future flooring needs and will recommend them to friends and family. read more

The floor went down in a timely fashion and looks very nice. The guys were a little on the loud side laughing, singing, talking kinda of messing around a little. It was a bit disturbing. They were a little lax about moving things. My husband actually moved some of the furniture the day before. We were pretty excited and happy about this company and job until the owner called to tell us he wanted an additional $165. when we were already spending close to $10 just because they moved the fridge on their own for some reason. That has left me feeling a bit deflated about this company. I wouldn't recommend going to them after that. Just be careful if you guy to them that they asked for additional money even though we had a contract. read more
