We were shopping for kitchen countertop. Albert provided a estimate that is most reasonable price comparing to all other fabricators for custom slabs. The slabs in the room show he works with are beautiful. Due to the tight budget, we went with prefabricated slabs with better price overall. But I would recommend Albert for custom countertop projects. read more

I highly recommend using Granite & Marble Concepts! If you want the job done right, look no further. Excellent communication, experienced fabricators and installers. We wanted someone who was able to install WaterFall's with mitered edges on Quartzite natural stone and they were definitely the guys to do it. They created a real masterpiece and everything turned out perfect! Thank You! Thank You! Thank You! read more

Albert and his crew did a great job. We wanted a giant kitchen island so he recommended a few slabs to look at so we could have it made with no seams. It turned out beautiful. They did our whole kitchen, breakfast nook, pantry, and one of our bathrooms. We'll definitely be going back to them when we do the rest of the bathrooms. read more

Exceptional team. Highest quality craftsmanship and a joy to work with. The highlight of my kitchen remodeling project!

I can't recommend Albert and his team enough. From start to finish (selecting the slab, measuring, templating, layout, demo, and installation), they were professional, courteous, and just a pleasure to work with. I especially appreciated how responsive Albert and his team were to each and every question I had (and I had MANY). The scope of our project was removing and replacing two large kitchen island counters, perimeter counters, and backsplash, and included building up the counter depth to accommodate a large special order sink with integrated drain board. We couldn't be happier with our beautiful new kitchen. Thank you, Albert, Angel, Enrique, and Uriel! read more

They have been AMAZING to work with. Everytime we emailed with questions we always got a response the same day. They did an INCREDIBLE job with the cuts - they took the time to give us exactly what we wanted. The installation team were professional and timely. I cant say enough about this company. read more

My experience started with Maria, who advised me of plenty of slab yards to start looking at for our new kitchen countertops. She helped me with design, pricing and layout (and even emotional support ) all through phone, email and text and she was incredibly responsive throughout our entire project. We got to work with Enrique, Camacho and Angel and they were the nicest, most hard working guys. They protected our belongings, cleaned up the area after each visit and always wore masks due to Covid. We had a slightly complicated job that required a few seams and lots of stairs and they performed beautifully, and were so pleasant throughout the process! The knowledge and expertise with this company is evident, and they are genuinely great people that are kind and professional. Our experience was as if we were their only clients, I cannot recommend them enough and am so grateful to have worked with them for our special project. Thank you Granite and Marble Concepts! read more

I'm very pleased with the work that Granite & Marble Concepts did for my kitchen remodel in 2019. It was a pleasure to work with Albert, his office manager Maria and his team of installers. They were head and shoulders above any other company I talked to. After not having a good experience with another company I looked around for fabricators and found Granite & Marble Concepts. Albert was very knowledgeable and invited me to visit his fabrication center. From my conversations with him I could tell that he takes pride in his work, pays attention to detail, and is skilled at explaining options and guiding his customers. That was important to me since I expect a company I hire to have the expertise to guide their customers about the pros and cons of different options. My conversations with him put me at ease and I'm very happy with their work. read more

Albert and his team recently installed my kitchen countertop and did a fantastic job! The fabricator that my kitchen remodel contractor had recommended quoted what seemed to be a very high price, so I shopped around. Albert responded to my inquiry the same day. Once I provided him a rough diagram of the kitchen, he sent me a quote within 24 hours. His quote was very reasonable, even less than expected when compared to my contractor's fabricator and another quote I received. Not only was the work done exceptionally well and fairly quickly after the template was created, but Albert was really easy to work with and very personable and relaxed despite his hectic schedule. That was refreshing after dealing with many contractors over the last few months. I would definitely recommend Granite & Marble Concepts to anyone. And by the way, my general contractor was impressed and took Albert's contact info. read more

We chose Granite & Marble Concepts after getting quotes from various companies for a large kitchen renovation. We've had our counters in now for over a year and they are beautiful. Albert stands behind his work and that is the beauty of a local company with ethical standards. We had an issue that came up with one of our counters. Albert personally came out to see it and at his own cost, had his workers fix our counters. We were so grateful. His employees work hard and precisely. Both times, they left our kitchen area cleaner than when they started. And the job was perfect. We would use Granite and Marble Concepts with no hesitation should we need future renovations! Wish more businesses ran their companies the way Albert runs his. Highly recommended. read more

After 25 years, I decided it was time for new kitchen countertops. I selected Granite $ Marble Concepts because they were local and received good reviews. I'd like to add myself to that list of satisfied customers. Communication from Albert and Maria was great. From demo to fabrication to installation, the crew - Enrique, Angel, Uriel, and Antonio - did a fantastic job: professional, clean, and thorough. I also appreciated their attention to detail. The process was practically stress-free! I'm absolutely in love with the final product! See for yourself - read more

Albert and his team at G&MC were amazing from the start. We did a pretty extensive remodel of both our master bath and kitchen/bar area and selected some very expensive slabs. G&MC were super responsive and detailed in how they managed the whole process, from measurements, to fabrication, to prep and final installation. They even helped us install some complicated lighting under the slabs for extra effect! I'd recommend this team to anyone. read more

These guys are the real deal when it comes to fabricating and installing quartz counter tops. After shopping around the web I rolled the dice and used this company. I can't say enough good things about Albert and his team! Top-notch quality work, no shortcuts. I remodeled my kitchen, sold the home, bought another home, and immediately hired Albert again for the remodel. Very communicative and flexible. With all of the shortages in the various industries lately, we had to change the scope and plans for our remodel a couple of times. Albert rolled with the punches with ease. Thank you Albert & team!! read more

We decided to do a kitchen refresh ( wanted to get rid of the ugly 1990`s on floor and the old 2 inch tiles on the countertop) and asked for multiple quotes. It was evident from day one that Albert was different. He did not have the " lets do it fast " sales pitch the others did. He took his time, proposed options... no pressure ever. We chose a beautiful white quartz. While the other people offered just standard prefab quartz , Albert proposed a custom quartz option as to him the end result would look much better and the price difference was small. So happy we did listen. His crew came in and were very polite and always cleaned up after each day. They were all true artists and did a perfect job. Albert and team is a rare find. We now come in to the kitchen and enjoy! read more

We were extremely pleased with the countertop and workmanship. We were able to select the granite from a full sheet and not just a small sample so we knew exactly how the granite would look. The installation also included some handyman work for some alterations we requested. The finished job was exactly what we wanted and the granite top is beautiful. read more

I worked with owner, Albert Martinez, to provide me with a quartz countertop and backsplash. Albert is a very professional person and has an amazing crew. Enrique in particular supervised the project and was very accommodating. Even though Albert is slow returning calls, he is so pleasant and supportive, I give him and his company/crew high marks for a beautiful job! Albert even cut my entire kitchen counter top in one piece; I have no seams! I am now working with him on a consignment matter regarding about 2/3 to 1/2 quartz slab left over from the project. I can only hope we see this through with the same professionalism and result. read more

We have just completed a remodel of our Kitchen. Over the years I've done extensive work to my home here in Point Loma. Most recently I've been so busy at work that I've relied on contractors. One area where I didn't know where to turn was with someone to fabricate my kitchen countertop. The store that sold me the two slabs recommended Albert at Granite and Marble Concepts. I cannot say enough good things about Albert and his business. I'm very picky about the quality of work on my home, and it's taken me a long time to find contractors I can trust and delegate work to in a carefree manner. Albert was a pleasure to work with on this project. He had very constructive advice for how we could improve his ability to provide a fantastic finished product. In the end, we have had numerous compliments from friends who have also had their counters redone. Have you ever looked at a joint between cuts? Or where the line is where the counter top edge is mated with an extended beveled edge? With a poor craftsman you will see a line. Not on my countertop! And the below counter sink was mounted perfectly and fits like a glove. All of the counter is level and the finished product is perfect. Albert's workers are clean, professional, and show up on time. The one time his worker was running late, I received a phone call to give me an update that they were running 15 minutes late. They spent the time with me to make sure of what I wanted and they made sure to get it right. I have no reservations in recommending Albert at Granite and Marble Concepts. My general contractor told me that he plans on using Albert for all of his future work because he was so impressed with his work product and professionalism. read more

Great experience- excellent quality. Found this company on Yelp and Albert and his team were outstanding. Don't be concerned with only a few recommendations on Yelp. From start to finish both my wife and I always knew what to expect. We did three bathrooms and installed yesterday. From first meeting to completion Albert was informative, knowledgable and very easy to work with. He listened, worked with us, provided advice and really glad we went with him. We researched 5 companies in the area and by far, Albert won hands down and was best price. Stop your search and call Albert. read more

Albert is an amazing guy. I had his company come and install quartz countertops for my ISO 5 stem cell laboratory. His team did an amazing job and I love my new countertops. They were very professional and the turnover time was only a few days. He gave me a very good deal and the work that he and his team put into it was truly one of a kind. I have been searching (for months!!) all over the Internet for a company to do this and they quoted me ridiculous amounts of money. Companies such as crown steel and ehmcke sheet metal could not compare to what Albert was able to provide. My clinic is definitely using him again very soon! So hurry and contact them for quick and reliable service!! 5 stars indeed!! read more

I have to say that Albert and his team do beautiful work. I had a very challenging problem to recreate a unique tabletop. To do this I had to find a stone and fabricator. I tried about 10 places in the SD area with no luck. While I had to search Albert's place twice for a stone I found a unique and beautiful stone. The fabrication was perfect and the price reasonable. I would strongly recommend Albert and his team. They are superb! read more

While looking around at Granite Slabs for my kitchen counters, one slab yard recommended Albert of Granite & Marble Concepts saying he could do anything. I got quotes from Albert as well as a couple other outfits and my gut told me to go with Albert. My countertop was delivered and installed today and his crew did a fantastic job with every aspect of the installation. Albert came by a couple hours later to double check on the work and watching him you realize how much of a perfectionist he is. I am more than happy with their work, their prices were fair and I'd highly recommend you hiring Granite & Marble Concepts to do your fabrication and installation. Note- They do not have a slab yard but are the ones who will make that slab fit your kitchen or bathroom counter perfectly. 100% Satisfied customer. read more

Albert and his crew installed my new kitchen and bath counters this weekend. I could not be happier. The counters are beautiful, the fabrication flawless, and the whole experience was smooth. Albert was amazing in keeping the communication going, was totally responsive, and went above and beyond to make me happy. The crew was fantastic. The work ethic exhibited by these guys was top notch. I am extremely hard to please, come from a family of contractors so I expect a lot, and Albert and co. did not disappoint. I am totally in love with my counters and am so happy I went with this company over the other two I looked into. Albert, you and your crew are simply amazing! I contacted Granite & Marble Concepts for countertop on our new kitchen cabinets. Albert came to my house and gave me an estimate via email on the following day. I didn't even get estimates from other companies so I don't know if he offers competitive prices to be honest, BUT the finished product is amazing! I asked miter joints, and you really have to have skilled people to perfectly joint miter corners, and Granite & Marble Concepts can do this no problem! Counter top is what you look at everyday so I wanted it to be PERFECT, and I am so glad we hired Granite & Marble Concepts to fabricate and install our counter top. Albert is very knowledgeable, and he has a great personality! Victor and his crew are also great, skilled, and courteous. Thank you so much! read more

After a few discrepancies, Albert and Victor did a phenomenal job. All of my issues were accounted for and Albert at the end of the day is a man of his word. Not to mention, his crew is made up of some awesome guys that I completely trust in my home and are clean and personable. Will hire again! read more

Albert and his crew installed new Quartz countertops in my kitchen and two bathrooms on Saturday. I am extremely pleased with the results. They are beautiful! I had a previous estimate from Lowes for the kitchen only and Albert did the kitchen and two bathrooms for less money. Albert's crew Victor, Callett and Angel did a fantastic job on the installation and were very patient with a very nervous homeowner. The seam in the kitchen countertop is virtually invisible. Albert's plumber even came out on Sunday to hook up the sinks so I didn't have to do without another day. I couldn't be happier and would highly recommend Albert and his crew. read more

We have been working on our kitchen for the last year and in November of 2016 we were ready for new counters and back splash to be installed. As part of the job, we also wanted a new custom cabinet installed, where an older one was removed. Of the 5 or 6 companies I called, only Albert could do the new cabinet for me as part of the job. Everyone else only did the counter top installation. That said, we went with Albert and I am really glad we did. Shopping around, we found a beautiful natural stone Quartzite we wanted installed with as few seams as possible. Victor came out and made the templates, we then met to discuss what parts of the slabs would be best with the templates and they fabricated the counter tops with only one little seam that is impossible to see. The back splashes were also done with no seams, except where two walls meet. Everyone that has seen the kitchen loves the material we picked out, but they are also very impressed with the installation. Every time I walk in the kitchen and look at it, I am blown away by how beautiful it is. Thank you Albert, Victor and the installation team at GMC. You did a fantastic job at a very competitive price. I really appreciate your professionalism and will refer you to anyone that asks for someone in your field. read more

I hired this company to install new Cambria quartz countertops during our kitchen remodel. They installed the large corner piece out of level, which caused it to crack 10" from the front of the countertop to the middle. They wasted 7 months telling me theyre waiting on Cambria, and didn't respond to several of my email asking for updates. Now Im left with a five thousand dollar countertop with a 10" long crack. I would strongly advise against using this company. read more

Albert and his team at Granite & Marble Concepts were recommended to us by Chris at Stone Systems (great selection) where we had picked out our Quartz countertops. Albert was very professional when he arrived to provide an estimate. His knowledge and experience were very helpful. He recommended the perfect edge finish (mitered) with a 2 inch edge, rather than the standard 1.5 inch which gives it a much more custom finished look for no or little extra cost. The second visit was for the template to get exact measurements. His team arrived on time and were professional, even removing their shoes. The installation was completed by his team in less than a day and looks great. They were very professional, covered all the floors. The fit and finish is perfect. With careful planning and his experience, Albert, was able to minimize the seams in the layout leaving the only seam at the front and back sink which can not even been seen. We couldn't be happier and would highly recommend Albert and his team. read more
