I bought a condo downtown. The sellers used RH to put flooring in most of the home except the bedrooms. I engaged RH to put the same flooring in the rest of the house. Unfortunately, his workers did not align the new flooring with the old flooring and it didn't look good, or professional. I discovered this when the job was finished. I sent a pic to Jason and said, "I guess I'll had to live with it." Jason replied that he was embarrassed by the amateurish quality of the job, that I shouldn't have to live with it, and that he wanted to redo it. So his guys came back, removed the flooring and then put it back correctly. Also, on the first day, his guys scratched my delicate front door while moving in the flooring. Jason had it redone no questions asked. The response of a company when something goes wrong is an excellent way to judge it. RH passed that test with flying color! read more

Well, we are officially in love with our new floors. Can't say enough good things about Jason, his crew, and the new engineered hardwood floors they installed in our condo. Jason was incredibly patient with us throughout the entire process, allowing us to take multiple samples home and provide us with great advice and pricing options. Jason is also a pro at navigating HOA requirements in condo buildings, which was a MASSIVE weight off our shoulders. He handled the architectural application, coordinating with building management, providing samples, and everything else. Doing work like this in a condo can be a headache, and Jason made it easy. The quality of the flooring and installation speaks for itself. In addition to being a high quality product, the crew did an amazing job on all the little details. They also didn't hesitate to come back to correct a minor defect in one of the planks, which was very appreciated. Overall we cannot recommend RH enough. They will be our go to anytime we need flooring done in the future. read more

Was recommended to RH Flooring by a friend, and am glad that we went with them for demo of our old Saltillo tile floor (surprisingly, it was hard for me to find a company who would do this as I was ghosted a lot in my search for bids) and installation of engineered hardwood. Jason was very responsive, helpful, and detail oriented! After the job was initially done, Jason did a final walkthrough with me and saw a few areas that needed minor fixes. All in all, the guys that came out, Mayo and Hiroshi, did a great job! Overall, I felt the installation went at a good pace and it was worth the small delay for RH Flooring to get it right! Would definitely use them again for a future floor installation project! read more

Buyer beware. Contractor does not stand behind their work. The finish on the wood flooring they installed in my condo started failing within two months of installation. They inspected the issue with their supplier (SLCC) and initially said they would handle it under warranty, then their supplier's inspector turned around and rejected the claim. The delamination continued over time and looked like absolute trash. RH offered to help the situation by discounting the cost to replace the brand new floors, which was still more than it cost to bring in a different reputable flooring contractor to replace the shoddy product they had installed. read more

This company was amazing from start to finish. Jason made what seemed like an overwhelming and impossible decision to choose the flooring color a lot easier. He listened to the ideas of my vision and helped me to narrow down my options. I am completely thrilled with the choice that I made. Also, RH flooring worked around my contractors schedule to get the job done and not hold up the progress of my other projects. I received a few estimates and RH flooring was also the lowest surprisingly since the quality of work was superb. Highly recommend RH flooring! read more

Jason and the team have helped me out 2 times now with wood flooring and I highly recommend them. They are courteous, professional, helpful, and dedicated and you should talk to them if you need help with flooring. Jason presented me with several options to choose from, explained everything in great detail, and answered all of my questions. My floor looks amazing. The install was seamless, quick, professional and looks great. read more

Great company with a huge selection of flooring. The carpet in my office was not of great quality and was prone to getting really dirty. After tiring of quarterly carpet cleaning bills I hired these guys to install a wood floor and it looks fantastic. My installer, Jose, was professional, meticulous and willing to go the extra mile (installing wood in my supply closet was very tricky). Overall, a great experience and the floors look fantastic. Also, my building in downtown San Diego has strict rules for vendors (insurance, how they enter/exit, use the elevator, etc) and some complain. But not Jose, he did everything with a smile and great attitude (and fortunately loves dogs!). read more

I live in a condo in a high rise building. The condo management as well as a few neighbors recommend RH Flooring. The manager, Jason, returned my texts immediately and set up an appointment. Upon arrival he was friendly, honest, and experienced. Based on our discussion, he dropped off some floor samples within 2 days. We went to his business and looked at more samples. After agreeing on a floor, Jason immediately sent us a quote. He filled out all the required forms for our HOA. His crew, Alex & Ricardo did an amazing job with demolition and removal of our old floors and the installation of the new floor. The floors look amazing and professionally installed! I fully recommend RH Flooring to anyone needing wood floors installed. read more

Reasons for my 5 star rating: (1) because my husband and I are very pleased with the finished work (2) because we believe it was a good value for the service (3) because the communication was very good (3) because they were timely and were working when they said they would (4) because they corrected a slight visual issue without my asking for it to be done and without hesitation (5) because they didn't ask me to write a review. They installed ceramic wood look tile I purchased elsewhere. I would definitely recommend them and have already done so. read more

This is actually the second time we have used RH Flooring. The first time was in 2013 to install engineered wood flooring we purchased online and had shipped to our home for our great room, office and media room on the first floor. We were very impressed with the way the flooring was installed and the attention to detail. We had an issue with one of the threshold pieces in a doorway and they came back and fixed it the next week. The install still looks great today. Recently, we had them install more wood flooring we bought from a local dealer in a new room on the second floor, hallway and full staircase. I was happy to find their pricing to be reasonable like the first time. I spoke with Jason and was able to get a quote for the entire project with different options as we were not sure we could afford to do the staircase at this time. The master installer Gama was fantastic. He did a great job distributing the planks by size and color throughout the install. He had a good crew working with him and they got the job done in two days. I would not hesitate to recommend them for flooring installations. read more

Five stars for Errol and Oscar, this was definitely a job well done and we're so happy with our flooring! Errol, Oscar and his crew have done work for my better half at his workplace, and we chose the same tile/grout combo for our home because it was so beautiful. Errol was super responsive via text and email, and made the quote/install scheduling process very convenient. We replaced 1k sq ft in laminate with tile, and couldn't be happier with the results. Oscar and his team arrived to start the demo/install exactly on time (actually, 15 mins early), and worked their butts off to make our house look gorgeous. They even came in on a Saturday, and worked in the pouring rain, to get our job done quickly. These guys are artists; the tile cuts they made to accommodate some odd angles are insane, and literally every single piece of tile was leveled and squared. The new base boards and door casings add another dimension to the final product, and look gorgeous. Oscar's crew was super friendly, and very funny! Having your whole house torn apart for tile work is crazy stressful and inconvenient - and they were just so sweet and accommodating through the whole process. They definitely gave us great confidence in their work, and went the extra mile to make our home beautiful. It felt like I had family working on my home, and that definitely made the process easier. Finally, the results are just gorgeous - I love how beautiful our home looks thanks to Errol, Oscar and the crew. All the trauma and stress of having a torn up house for two weeks was SOOOOO worth it, and I'm so very happy with the end result! read more

Very unhappy with RH Flooring. Paid in full yet job unfinished for over a year now. The company admitted one of the workman was poor and had been left go and yet they still have not turned up to finish the job as specified in the brief. Being fobbed off multiple times by the office with promises of people turning up. I do not recommend this company. read more

Ray and his crew do outstanding work! They are meticulous in every step of the wood floor process. Errol and Oscar were awesome. I live in a downtown high rise with a ton of rules surrounding the HOA and flooring. Oscar and his crew replaced hardwood floors with a porcelain tile that looks like wood. They were awesome and courteous and the building and property Manager loved them. I highly recommend!! I purchased the tile from home Depot and had them do the install, demo and lay down an underlayment (required by the HOA). They finished early and wow I get so many compliments! We had the pleasure of working with RH Flooring during our remodel project. Our contractor brought Jason and his team (Gama and Tony) into our project as the flooring sub and we could not have been more satisfied with their work. Jason was always quick to respond to communication and visited our job site on several occasions to check on the crew. RH removed our existing glued down hardwood floors which was an absolute mess, however they cleaned up daily. They were extremely respectful in our home and took thought and care to all the work they did. During the installation process of the new LVP they worked very closely with us to ensure we were happy with the layout, distribution of planks and color throughout. It was obvious that Gama and Tony take great pride in their work and the end result is a very happy customer. I would not hesitate to recommend RH Flooring. Overall, we had a great experience, and the floors are beautiful. read more

I used this contractor after firing another installer to finish our almost very complicated hardwood flooring,. Errol, the owner which does installing too came in to help, estimate the rest of the job pretty fairly, did the work with his professional crew right on time and better than what we expected. this young but experienced, wood floor and tile installer have a great future. I will highly recommend him to those who are searching for a professional and reliable hardwood flooring contractor. Will post some pictures of what he did in our house this weekend, read more

Let me get this out from the beginning. JUAN is a consummate professional and is a joy to work with. You can truly tell he is passionate about his work and brings a level of craftsmanship that only comes from someone who loves what he does. From my first conversation with him I could tell this is what he enjoyed doing. He was very easy to communicate with and would always take to time to explain the reasons behind his work. He and his partner Mike showed up on time each day and worked until the day's job was done; rain or shine. And there was definitely rain. They started the job before Thanksgiving and were even willing to work Thanksgiving day but I encouraged them to take the day off. They completed the job the day after Thanksgiving and I couldn't be more happier with the flooring and how it came out. If Juan is any indication of the other folks at RH Flooring then there's no one else I'd turn to for my flooring or tile needs. Thanks RH Flooring and thanks Juan and Mike. read more

Worst experience, we hired Ransom Hardwood Flooring to replace three discolored wooden planks, in the process they damaged our floor and had to restain the entire floor. When I spoke to Jason the manager about the amount I was quoted by Carlos his employee, he yelled at me over the phone and said he had to think about fixing the mistake his own workers made on my floor. Carlos the "experienced installer" who quoted the work and said that he would personally oversee the sanding down of our floors, never showed up again and sent young inexperienced guys to sand my floor who left black round scratches throughout the floor and gaps between the wooden planks. When I reached out to Carlos he told me he would come fill the gaps and take a loot at all the scratches left by the machine, after four months of texting him, he never showed up or answered my calls or text messages again. When I finally got a hold of Ari and explained everything that is wrong with the work they did on our floor, she assured me she would be my point of contact moving forward. We set an appointment for her to come in and see it for herself but she never showed up. Instead we got a new person named Phill come and take pictures of the damage and told us we would hear back from Ari the next day, I never heard from her and she did not answer any of my calls. After a week of leaving messages I had to reach out to Jason, who again was completely unprofessional, made it clear he does not care about our floor or business and refused to transfer me to Ari or anyone else in the company. This company should not be allowed to be in business, there is no accountability, WORST contractors do not trust them in your home!!! They took our money and quit the job!!! read more

Our newly refinished and stained floors are the highlight of our remodel! Ismael and his team from RH Flooring did an amazing job on helping us select the perfect stain color for our type of floors and applying the stain. Such a nightmare to deal with. I booked months in advance as the date had to coincide with other tradesmen and moving. On the agreed date they cancelled due to an emergency, which I was understanding about. It took 3 hours of texts and emails (they never answer the phone) to arrange for one week later. No one showed up on the date they had told me by email. Again, hours of trying to reach them and was told that I was scheduled for the next day, even though their email to me said different. Next day appeared, workmen were professional and friendly. Next day a different person, also good. After half a day he left, all floors were in a state of mid-repair, 4 rooms and hallway unusable until the sanding and varnishing was complete. Next day no one showed up to finish the job. More hassle trying to contact them because again, no answering of their phone. Finally I was told that I was scheduled for the following week for sanding and varnishing. No RH staff had ever contacted me to tell me I would be waiting a further week. They were quick to ask for payment of works done thus far though, which I paid promptly. When Jason finally phoned me I conveyed my concern that they would ever return at all. Lots of excuses but no plausible reason given why my original arranged date wasn't adhered to and why the job was now taking several weeks to finish. The following week the work was done over the course of 2 1/2 days. The floors look nice but not worth the stress of dealing with RH Flooring. They need to sort out their scheduling, communication and customer service. I don't like leaving a negative review but I want to prevent others from going through a similar stressful experience. There are lots of other flooring companies to choose from. read more

Out of all the contractors I've used on my house these guys are by far the BEST. They are punctual, polite and super efficient. Do you know how nice it is when a contractor shows up and completes work when they say they will? Never happens, ever...until I used Errol.
