We read about Amazonia kitchen and bath on Yelp and decided to try them out based on their near perfect reviews. We reached out to Randy to do the tiling work for both shower and floors for our bathroom remodel, and also for the fabrication of 3 custom bathroom vanity countertops for us (of varying sizes) out of a black granite slab. Both jobs were executed to perfection. For the tiling, we wanted a wrap-around look in a 1/3rd offset pattern - such that the floor and the walls form one seamless piece in an almost invisible transition. We did not realize how mind boggling the math behind this would be - until later. The tiler understood our vision and executed it to sub-millimeter precision. The layout and the cuts and the ratio were so exact - that there was 0 error no matter how you looked at it, making the tiling a mathematical wonder (accurate) from every viewing angle. The work was done painstakingly meticulously, not a single step was rushed. The black porcelain tile was laid out so intricately all the way to a black window - that the tile became indistinguishable from the window at some subtle point.. The grouting was done skillfully and evenly as well to give us that invisible grout look we were looking for. We feel it was the best tiling job* we have ever seen - that too at the best price. *caution: pictures don't do justice to the in-person look. The countertop fabrication and install was exceptional as well. All the inquiries, planning, job estimation, scheduling, payment etc. was done entirely over phone & text with Randy - it was frictionless and extremely convenient. We found Randy very honest and fair in his approach to customer service. We are in awe of the skill level and the craftsmanship of the Amazonia team. read more
