I was eager to try Mezeh because I love "build a bowl" meals and this type of cuisine. The store is in a busy plaza, but there is parking right in front or a few steps away. The space is clean, wide open and very inviting. When I walked in, the staff greeted me and asked if I had any questions. When I mentioned that it was my first time at the location, they told me a little about the concept and the restaurant. I learned that it is a chain, but this is the only location in the area. And although it is a chain, they do their best to get local ingredients. The basic concept is that you build your bowl. There is a child size (which you can get 6 toppings on) and an adult portion that you can get 12 toppings on. You first choose your base. They have several different types of greens and two different types of rice. Then you choose your meat. There are several "standard" meats that are included in the base price, but you can pay anywhere from $1-$5 to upgrade to meats like lamb or specialty chicken. I was able to sample a few of the meats which helped me land on my choice of the honey chicken (which was a $1 up charge). Then you move to the ingredients. They have a wide variety of things from two different types of hummus, feta cheese, olives, various grains and other veggies (like marinated cucumbers). They let me sample some of those as well while I was deciding. And they put the ingredients in a ring around the bowl, so you are able to choose when and how you want to mix everything up. It could be a challenging place if you have decision fatigue, but there really are a lot of tasty options. The bowl comes with a small piece of pita bread. Overall, I love the concept of this restaurant, recommend it and will definitely be back! read more

There were a bunch of teenagers working there with no supervision. They were all staring at their phones, and not paying any attention to the customers or the food. I wanted to come here because I have gotten delivery from here and the food is good. Whoever bought this business needs to show up and supervise his employees. read more

This is a tough one to write. We've enjoyed many quick meals here, though the service has been up and down as other reviewers note (lack of interested servers, grungey tables, etc.) We keep coming back. But our latest online order produced a half meal and most troubling, the nice server we spoke to said they'd been ordered to reduce portion sizes. I get it, food has gotten expensive (thanks Trump), but this is like a half order. read more

Mezeh - What's in this bowl? Not very much. TWO falafels? - Middle Eastern Near Me - Bridgeville, Pennsylvania

The food here is very good. Service is always slow, nobody was in there I stood by the cashier waiting for someone to give me my pickup order. There was barely any chicken on the bowl, and they forgot a few things I ordered on my bowl like pickled onion. read more

The restaurant was dirty / tables were not cleaned off, and the trash cans were full. The staff of teenagers were nice, but not very motivated.. We had some vegan grandchildren with us and the staff didn't know which food was vegan and which was not. My wife asked for her entrée without sauce, but it was served with sauce all over it instead of going back she just took a napkin and rubbed it off. My steak entrée which the server recommended was cold . Very disappointing. I don't recommend this restaurant. read more

So this was a new place for us .. we went to the farmers market out this way and decided to stop and try as it looked interesting (newly opened). I will say I was a bit confused being the first time ... but we walked up and placed our order. You can tell they are recently open ... getting to know their menu. The food was good and fresh! We also got a side of falafels.. prob the best I had .. meaning not dry (which we tend to get a lot). They have outdoor seating which is nice .. the parking lot is shared with many businesses.. and it was a Friday so finding a spot was hard! read more

I am blown away by this place. It is just so good. The food is fresh, authentic, spiced perfectly. The sizes are gigantic so be prepared for your bowl to last you for three meals. Next time I go, I'm going to have to share with somebody or get the junior size bowl. I really didn't know what to expect but now I think I have a new favorite restaurant in town. read more

Nice new Mediterranean grill. Build your own or order from the menu bowls, wraps and salads. Have seen in Virginia but never stopped in so we decided to order lunch. We tried a few bowls, Chicken chicken, Yalla Lamb, and Lemon Chicken. All were in a nice size bowl with many fresh ingredients. Overall we enjoyed the bowls but felt they were a tad overpriced. read more

We stopped in for the Grand Opening, and enjoyed our experience (This was my first time ever in a Mezeh). They were running a special today that you get a free bowl with the purchase of a drink. There was a line extending outside the building when we arrived, but it moved quickly. While in line, there was a representative from the company to welcome us, and to answer any questions we might have. I ordered the Falafel Classic Bowl, and my wife ordered the Chicken Chicken Bowl (It comes with two types of chicken in case you were wondering about the name). The food was delicious, and felt like a healthy choice. The drinks were also quite interesting. I had a Cucumber Mint drink and my Wife had a Watermelon Pineapple Dill. They had a very unique taste and were refreshing. Overall, I liked everything, and hope to come back again . . . Cheers! read more

This place is just like a Qdoba or Chipotle but with Lebanese/Syrian meats and sauces. All the employees are Spanish speaking immigrants so they don't really understand you when you order your food. The place is pretty much 1 week away from an ICE raid. The food is good but pretty overpriced for that it is. I wouldn't t come back. read more

We visited on their grand opening day. It was sooooo good! The flavors of all the food were amazing. While we were waiting in line, an employee talked to us as a group to make sure we didn't have any questions and to welcome us into the restaurant. All the workers on the line were extremely friendly and helpful explaining the options we had for our bowls. They also suggested the sauces to try. They have very interesting drink options for their juices and drinks, if you want to try some unique combinations. There's more than enough searing in the space and it's in a perfect location. We will definitely be coming back to try the wraps and the chocolate baklava! read more

Great location, wonderful food and good service! Such great flavors! Five stars and we will come back!

My friend and I decided to try Mezeh for dinner one weekday. I was instantly impressed with the interior dining area, the colorful decor, and the floor to ceiling windows that let in a ton of natural light. I was a little unimpressed by the chipotle-style ordering system. Essentially, you follow the employee down the line of ingredients as they assemble your order. Unlike Chipotle, they don't ask you what you'd like, unless you're doing a custom bowl. I ordered a menu item, the chicken chicken bowl, and did want to sub out the regular hummus for the spicy version. I asked politely and the employee graciously made the switch without hesitation. Off the bat, the prices do seem a little high, but honestly the volume of food makes it worth it. You can easily get 1.5-2 meals out of each other. My bowl came with a warm slice of pita that was a little denser than I'm used to, but still delicious. I loved the bowl and all of the fresh ingredients. The women's bathroom definitely needed some attention, but did have plenty of soap and paper towels. The parking is super easy and accessible, since it's in a huge plaza with several other businesses. read more

Since I've been eating more vegetarian meals this place is a nice change from Moes. I got the Build your own bowl and loved that there were Mediterranean choices like pickled veggies lentils and Falafels. The Falafels were nice and not dried out. The spicey Hummus was flavorful and the fresh Pita made it worthwhile. The wife got a build your own bowl too. She couldnt eat it all so we took it home. It made a great filler meal the next day at the beach. Yum to Mezeh. I hope they keep up the freshness so they stick around because I do want to keep on coming back. read more

Not one person in there. All kids working and when I walked in they treated me like I was a burden. Ordered bowl. Everything except chicken and feta looked dirty and not edible. The vegetables were hard as a rock. Will never return. read more

I gave management 4 months to respond before writing this review, these visits were shortly after Mezeh opened at the beginning of the summer. I was excited for Mezeh to open in Bridgeville PA at the Piazza at South Fayette. Unfortunately I had a disappointing experience. I understand working out the kinks and having patience with a new store. For example, I selected Pita Croutons for both bowls I ordered and neither one came with them, disappointing but understandable with likely all new staff. My issue was the chicken, first there was very little of it, but then to my shock taking a bite and being stabbed in the mouth with a very sharp chicken bone. While I suppose it's good to know this is real chicken, there REALLY needs to be some quality control to make sure these bones are removed. Had someone swallowed that it could have been pretty harmful. I reached on their website and via email with my experience and got no response. I just wanted the store to have the heads up so someone didn't get hurt. I wound up reaching out on Instagram and got a response pretty quickly, but just that it would be forwarded on, but I never heard that it was. I gave them another chance a few weeks later. I ordered online and went to the store at the estimated pickup time. 25 minutes later someone came up to me and said that they were out of falafel, did I want to replace with a meat? I explained that I was hesitant to try chicken again after my first experience. The employee was very nice, said that she was so sorry for the current delay and the prior issue. She said she wanted to take my email and phone number so the store manager could reach out immediately. She showed me that she had texted the information to the manager and I would hear back shortly. That was 4 months ago. On top of the dangerous bones, delayed online orders and missing ingredients, the food really just isn't that tasty. Rumor has it that Roots Natural Kitchen is going to move in across the street in the old Blaze pizza. I can tell you 100% Mezeh will not make it with a Roots anywhere in its vicinity. Roots is amazing and exactly what I had hoped Mezeh would be, unfortunately it is far from it. read more

First time here and the service and food was excellent! I got the chicken chicken bowl and the bowl is huge and with great flavorful foods! This is definitely the new spot! Everything in it tastes so healthy too. Honestly, better than chipotle. read more

I assume that this restaurant is having some startup pain so we'll give it another try. But we weren't impressed by the food or the service. I was so excited to have something similar to Cava in the area, but this place misses the mark. It also took 20 minutes to out the order together. They were out of wrap bread, so instead of making an adjustment, they just put the wrap filling in a bowl which looked pathetic it was so small. No attempt to add more to make it look presentable. Just skipped the wrap and threw it in a bowl. read more

I came in and got 2 bowls. There was 2 high school kids one with colored eyes and a hat and the other was a short scrawny kid. They gave me a hard time ordering and the whole time they were whispering to each other and laughing. Such rude kids. I hope management does something about the service. On top of that the short kid unnecessary squished my bowl with his whole weight and it was overfilling. read more

Have Eat'n here twice and it was very very good. Lots of food for the price. The flavors were very good and the staff was super friendly.

I ordered delivery via the app... I never got my food. I had to call 5 times before I got an answer. When I did.. I HAD to ask the person to go check if my food was still there because he said he couldn't do anything after it left the store. He finally came back and said it was there and still couldn't do anything about it because it was beyond his control. I asked for a refund and he said I had to go through the app!!! This was my first time trying, and I will not attempt again!! read more

DO NOT USE THEIR MOBILE ORDERING. Great Food, Friendly Service, However their mobile ordering system is so screwed up. it is not a dynamic system and will say your order will be ready in 7minutes then make you wait a hour. Their online customer service is non-responsive as well. For a chain with this many restaraunts the ownership and management are a mess. read more
