The food is amazing. So many flavors. If you don't know what to get then try the Aladdin's combo. The meat is really tender. The service is great. Aladdin's has hands down the BEST hummus in the 'burgh! The appetizer portion is plenty for the table, and they provide extra pitas at no additional charge. I feel like everyone in Pittsburgh either loves Aladdin's or just hasn't been yet. My group was looking for a nice healthy meal after a bike ride, and Aladdin's was a great choice. A few people had never been, and we all came out happy and feeling great! We began with hummus and baba ghanoush appetizers. Both were very homey and great. My father ordered the fruit smoothie and he's been raving about it all day. I ordered the hummus shawarma plate. I really liked how it was spiced, and the crunchy pine nuts were a nice surprise when I got them in bites. I had a lot of hummus leftover that I happily took home, and was offered extra pita to-go to dip with. My mom ordered the Taza chicken salad and didn't talk much because she was busy eating it. I didn't get a chance to sneak a bite of hers, but it looked great, and it was a very generous portion. The service was very friendly and attentive. They have outdoor seating available with four tables of two seats each. Indoors, they have plenty of hand sanitizer in the entrance, and tables not in use are blocked off. Aladdins is such a solid restaurant and I have to pick it up at least once when I'm home in the Pittsburgh area. Everything I've had there is good. I really enjoy the lentil soup and the hummus appetizer-the flavors are amazing! I also always get the baba falafel rolled. I can never pass it up because often when I go to Mediterranean restaurants, the baba ghanoush is not vegan and has some type of yogurt in it. This is my new spot! I can't wait to get lunches from here regularly. My mother and I stopped in today for lunch where we were promptly greeted by Michelle. She explained the menu items to us as it was our first time joining them. We took her up on several of the recommendations including the appetizer of cauliflower. It was delicious, spicy, and unique. We also tried the vegetarian platter as an appetizer and we split two wraps, the chicken curry and the chicken Shawarma as our entrees. Everything was fresh and delicious.
