Fioris is my favorite pizza but something has changed. The last three times Ive gone to the McMurray location the pizza is not fully baked. The crust is gummy and gooey and severely underbaked. All of the staff, from the register to pizza deliverers, were so friendly and accommodating. The dining area isn't too big, but we had no wait for an early dinner on a weeknight. Fiori's is our pizza mecca...The pizza shop that very few other shops have ever compared to. Fiori's isn't in the easiest location to reach, but it is worth the visit. Our family gets a plain cheese, with a cup of mozzarella cheese, and barbecue wings (the sauce is amazing). Their sauces are amazing as dippers and you can get them in to go size containers to keep in your fridge. The shop is old school pizzeria with the staff cooking right there in the main room as the restaurant, making it all about the pizza experience. This place is always busy but call ahead. You walk up to the counter and order. We got greeted right away! They will give you a number and will bring your food out when it's ready. They were efficient with coming around and asking if we needed a refill and cleaning the tables off when people left. We got the salad to start. I assumed their Italian salad was the same as a antipasto salad but it wasn't. It only had pepperoni on it for meat. Although it was a huge salad! As always the large cheese pizza is always the best way to go with Fioris. Not sure if it's the same recipe as the one on Capital but we thought it was a little sweeter then the one we normally get on Capital. Maybe we are biased! There are some really great spots for a slice of 'Zza in the 'Burgh, and Fiori's Pizzaria is consistently recognized as one of the best. Growing up we always visited the Fiori's Pizzaria location on West Liberty Ave, and this was my first visit to the McMurry location since it opened. The restaurant has a much different vibe than the original location as it's quadruple the size. The tall ceilings and ample seating feel so spacious in comparison to the older location. Based on the exterior I was expecting a "fancy" pizzaria, and was slightly surprised when the inside felt much more like an Italian gramma's kitchen. Fiori's Pizzaria was very bright and had TV's (can't miss the Steelers!) Fiori's Pizzaria offers a wide variety of toppings, but personally I like to keep it somewhat basic. We ordered a large salad and a large pepperoni pizza, which both came out at the same time. The salad had handfuls of pizza cheese and savory Italian dressing. The lettuce was crisp and fresh and fed three people. Fiori's pizza is magical. The crust is thin and chewy with a slight hint of cornmeal or something. Whatever cheese blend they use on their pies is divine. While the pepperoni sometimes makes the cheese greasy, that's something I really like. The salads were so HUGE that I only had room for one slice of pizza. They cover it in cheese and pepperoni and not to mention it comes with garlic bread. I end up giving my pepperoni to my husband since I don't eat meat and let's just say he was happy. There Italian homemade dressing is also delicious Yummy!! Just got off of work with my SO and we were hungry and tired. Never been to this place before and decided to give it a try. It was 9pm on a Saturday so we were a little worried. The place was nice and clean inside (bathrooms too) and it wasn't overly crowded. At first I thought the menu was expensive (no deals or anything) but then I saw the size of the portions! We got a small salad (almost got the big one but got talked into a small by an employee) and a large pepperoni pizza. Got a soda too. It was about $30 for all of it. Omg! The small Salad was huge and delicious!! It had olives, cold pepperoni, onions, lettuce, lots of cheese,huge delicious tomatoes and bell pepper. I've never had a salad like this. The bell peppers worked really well. I'm usually very picky but this was perfect. The pizza! We got a large and it was 16 inches. The sauce is very sweet but it works. It's almost like having pineapple as a sauce but it worked. The employee who took our order was very nice and gave me a water. I wasn't feeling too good and was wearing sunglasses due to having a migraine. We saw other people's orders and understood the prices. HUGE and delicious portions! We will absolutely be back!! I had dined here a few times in the past and although it's not my favorite pizza place, I always thought it was good. After tonight however, I am pretty disappointed. We ordered take out and they said it would take an hour, which was fine, it's a Friday night. We ordered an Italian hoagie, a steak bogie, a large pizza, and buffalo wings. A few moments later we called back to add an order of BBQ wings and they were very accommodating to our request. One of the biggest problems with ordering is their large pizza is 12 cuts, which seemed like a medium to me, but it was fine. First I tried the BBQ wings and was skeptical because it looked like an orange/red sauce on the wings. Well I tried it and it reminded me of orange chicken. It didn't taste bad, but I was nothing like bbq sauce, it was super sweet. As for the buffalo wings, some were really chewy and the skin was stringy, and others were fine. Next I tried the steak hoagie, there was a red sauce dripping all over it, I tried it by itself and I tasted exactly like the sauce on the bbq wings. Again it wasn't bad but what steak hoagie comes with sauce? Probably the most unimpressive steak hoagie I've ever had. Anyways I tried a little of the Italian hoagie and it was what you would expect, it wasn't the best and it wasn't the worst. As for the pizza, that was really the only thing I enjoyed. After dinner my stomach was upset the rest of the night. I am in absolutely no hurry to go back and really wouldn't recommend it to someone, simply because there are plenty of other pizza places in he area. If you decided to go, I would only suggest getting pizza. Also be aware that there were plenty of customers in there without a mask, so if you are worried about COVID this won't be the place for you. read more

I was in Washington PA and returning back to Pittsburgh when I stopped to dine here. I was told by numerous people about the quality of Fiori's. I ordered 1/2 mushroom cheese steak (L,T,O) and a large white pizza. The bread was over toasted on the sandwich in which no amount of mayonaise could soften. The waitress asked me how my sandwich was : I replied there was no cheese nor onions and the bread over toasted. She said she would correct. My white pizza arrived and asked why there was no tomatoes on the pie. The waiter said you didn't order them (never had a white pizza w/o tomatoes?) but promptly brought me numerous slices of tomato to dress the pie. This was one of the better pizza's I had in quire some time. The waitress came over and comp me with a 1/2 s teak hoagie to go. This is what you call customer service, wasn't entirely necessary, and definitely will be a repeat customer. Good Job! read more
