Food was delicious, huge portions, great services. Everything we had was so good. Definitely a fun place to got to dinner with family and friend also great for date night read more

Had a great first meal at Meze! The bar is spacious and the windows were open on a beautifully sunny summer day. Live music was setting up in the corner and the atmosphere was great. We love authentic Greek food, spending a lot of time in Greece, and this place came close to authentic. The calamari was fresh and deliciously fried. I had the gyro plate and was a little disappointed it was already put together for me, in Greece the ingredients would be on a plate and you'd make your own. My husband had the stuffed peppers and he was told they had meat in them but they definitely did not. So he thought his meal was a little bland. They had authentic Greek wines and I enjoyed a glass. Prices are a little pricey considering the ingredients in the dishes, but overall we enjoyed ourselves and will be back to try other options on their menu! read more

Delicious food. Lovely atmosphere. Delightful surprise for a Worcester native who has lived away for decades. We'll be back. read more

Came here as it was recommended by a close friend while I was in town for the holidays. My friends come here often (they are Greek) and it is the go to. We ordered several things of the menu and every single thing that came from the kitchen was delicious. Sam, Dimitri and the rest of the kitchen staff were so welcoming. When we couldn't decide on dessert they brought out three of the desserts that were all so delicious. Amongst all the up and coming restaurants on Shrewsbury street, Meze is by far the perfect spot for every occasion! read more

This restaurant is my favorite spot to go with my friends. The food is amazing and the vibes are also amazing. Drinks are reasonbly priced and servers are very nice I love the lemon potatoes and all the appetizers. Friendly to vegans and vegetarians and gf as well!! Love this place only complaint is I wish they were open more during the week :( read more

Came here for a romantic anniversary dinner and enjoyed delicious, fresh food with a relaxed yet elegant ambiance. Our server was friendly and helpful, and the portions were generous with respect to price, good for sharing as well. My only complaint was that the shrimp skewer was a bit on the salty side. Everything else was tasty, especially the lemon potatoes. We will be back! read more

I came here on 11/12/22 and arrived around 8:15pm. The food was ok (fries were gross) but service and wait was horrible. My group waited for about half an hour just to be asked what we wanted to drink. I had to tell someone that my group was ready to order because seemed like we were being ignored. We were sitting there for like 45 min and hadn't ordered, like wtf. No one even apologized for the delay. I would have left but my husband said to put my NYC attitude away. About half an hour after waiting for our food to come, the waiter tells one of us that there's no beef. So u mean to tell me that the order was put in half an hour after it was made? Once again no apology. No one even came to ask if everything was ok while we were dining. Icing on the cake was when they brought my friends beer after all the food came out like 2 hours later. Mind you, he ordered it when we first got there. I would have sent it back if I was him. Once again, no apology Im wondering if this crappy ass service was due to us being different shades of brown. Im from NYC and go to packed and larger restaurants and NEVER have to wait this long for anything! read more

I was so excited to try this place because I love Greek food and the reviews were pretty good . But it was a Disappointing dining experience. Sat at least ten minutes before we were approached with water. Server never smiled and seemed very disengaged. Food was just okay , nothing special really and two of our four entrees were cold . Had the lamb shank and the Shrimp souvlaki. The side salad was basically one lettuce leaf and a black olive . Friend who had the shrimp had stomach issues later that night . No need to return here read more

Let me say that I agree that the servers are very slow which might turn people off; however, the quality of food is so very much worth the wait! Moussaka to die for and the best marinated meats and lemon potatoes. My husband and I drive 50 minutes to have the most enjoyable meal in a clean and stylish environment. read more

Cozy Greek restaurant! We try different apps, dinners and desserts each visit and we are never disappointed! Perfect night out!

Thanks for the opportunity to evaluate MEAE The ambiance and service was impressive Our server was attentive but not overbearing The food was delicious and the presentation was fabulous My only complaint was the portion size I had awesome traditional Greek salad. That portion was a good value However, I ordered as my main course lamb chops. They were cooked to perfection but I received only 2 medium sized lollipop lamb chops. Each essay best 2 bites. The entry was $19 dollars. For that price and size there should have been 4 chops read more

Let me preface by saying I have never written a review for ANYTHING. This was by far the worst service I have ever experienced. I would have thought the 3rd time I mentioned kindly to the owner that our server had not brought us what we had asked for that he would have at least taken charge and helped but NO. We literally waited (and I timed it) over 25 minutes at the end of our meal for the box that we asked for as well as the bill. We were so appalled that I simply gave up and paid with cash. Only when the owner sitting at the bar saw me leaving did he rush to me (I am guess he assumed I was dining and dashing). Such a shame as the food was actually amazing. Now if he had ever bothered to bring the take home containers I asked for lol! read more

I moved to Worcester a couple years ago from Larissa and by far I have never tried food this similar to food in Greece Honestly one of the best greek restaurants in New England Definitely going back read more

Wow. Not good. Change oil in fryer, boost energy in servers, and amp up food and drink to more inspired preparation. Until then, it all tastes tired served by tired, young people. read more

A fine restaurant the serves very good authentic Greek food. Hadn't been here for a while, and the food not only had gotten better since last time, a tall order since the food had been pretty good to start with, but the menu also was more extensive, especially in the appetizers. Basically, Meze serves Greek food the way many restaurants/taverns do it in Greece, a bunch of plates that can be shared, although dinners come complete (meat, fries or rice, salad) for one person. The food is very good and quite authentic. The grilled bread with olives, brought after we sat down, was a nice touch. Meze has a full bar, we didn't have cocktails, but beer selection (Greek and other) and selection of fine Greek wines, including a surprisingly pleasant Retsina, were good and varied. We had no room left for desert, but the frape was as good as one might have at a cafe in Greece. The Greek music (via Internet from a Greek radio station) may not be everyone's cup of tea, and it was a tad too loud, but along with the decor added to the authenticity. And finally the service: Attentive, efficient, and unhurried, as befits a Greek restauranr, even on a busy Father's Day lunch. The place isn't cheap, but it's not overpriced either for the quantity and, especially, the quality of the food. So, in summary, Meze offers excellent Greek food, very good service, in a nice place. What more can one ask for? read more

I enjoyed my meal here. Nothing special. A pork gyro with herb fries. We were told since we did not have a reservation we could only sit at the bar. The bartender was very nice. My issue is that half or more of the tables were empty the entire time we were there. Obviously a reservation was NOT needed. read more

We came here for a fully booked fathers day dinner. We had 8 people and they had our table ready right when we walked in. You can tell they run a tight ship. Everything was on point and delicious. The best Greek food in Worcester! Don't miss the amazing "48 hour" octopus entree, simply delicious. The spanikopita is also top flight - crisp phyllo, well seasoned tender spinach! The moussaka was the best I can remember! Brought desserts home, looked too good to pass up! We will be back!!!! read more

I made a reservation last minute on a Thursday night because I heard it gets busy. Luckily I did because we grabbed the last comfortable booth top available. The place is very elegant and contemporary. Same with the food. Classic Greek food with some modern twists but still the same rustic flavor. A go-to for anyone looking for healthy Mediterranean food made with high-quality ingredients at a competitive price. read more

They literally never answer the phone for take-out. I don't even think this place is open for business.

Saw the great reviews and decided to make a reservation on a Saturday. Everyone enjoyed themselves and the food and wine were great. The place looks beautiful and the soft Greek music and Greek server made me confused about where I was for a minute. I will be back. read more

Update: Finally made it back to Meze. Food was good. The menu has changed a little, in that there are more options for individual entrees instead of family portions. Calamari was the biggest I've ever seen - definitely worth getting. Souvlaki was good, lamb was the best I've ever had. Eggplant small plate was okay. Service was a bit slow and not rude, but also not friendly, which I've noticed before. It's not a cultural thing - Greek people in Greece are extremely friendly and cordial. However, there was one guy working all the tables so he was very busy. Even if you're in a rush, take time to get a coffee frape before you go. read more

We stopped in, on our visit from CA, with two kids, my mom and a friend from Australia. Mom has visited Greece and we all love greek food so we made a reservation a day in advance and headed over. We were very pleasantly surprised! The ambiance is top notch, reminiscent of the cafes lining the streets of European cities. Open windows, provide an open air feel (well, and some traffic noise), the bar against the wall with its television on low and wait staff chatting with each other and patrons, lends a relaxed and open feel. Our server was knowledgeable and friendly, treating our 12-year old as a real person with opinions (!!) and easily answered questions from the 9 and 12 year old with the same seriousness as those from the adults. We had a delicious white wine, Tsantali Makedonikos, that stood up to the food. To start we ordered avgolemono and panzaria. We had the gyros plate with fries (great for the 12 year old), my mother ordered Grilled Lavraki, our Aussie got lamb (paidakia), and I ordered the riganato (pork). Food came to the table quickly. The avgolemono was thick and flavorful, and immediately stolen by the enterprising 9-year old. The panzaria included softened beets, the light acidity of the balsamic complimenting the mild saltines of the feta very nicely. The gyros was full of flavor, and came wrapped in a soft and warm pita, the tzatziki tangy and cool. The lamb was, and I quote, "wow, they know how to make it medium rare! Astonishing!" We all tasted the grilled lavraki, the fish cooked to perfection, its light herbal scent wafting across the table, and melted easily on the tongue. The riganato was moist, the flavor of the wine it was cooked in making a lovely sauce. The pilaf had a good balance of rice and orzo and absorbed the sauce deliciously. Desserts included a light lemon custard filled pastry, a custard filled pastry with a chocolate glaze, a chocolate "mouse", and greek coffee. All were of the same high standard set by our entrees. We will definitely be back when we visit next year! read more

The food at Meze is so good! The small plates are actually really decent sizes and great prices! Two of us got 4 dishes and left with 2 meals of leftovers for $50 total. Will definitely go back read more

Best Mediterranean place yet! Service was on point. Food was exceptional!! Date night was amazing. Xo

A little piece of heaven!! If you like Greek food, and authentic Greek food, then Meze Estiatorio is the place to go!! All the dishes resemble meals that come from your own yiayias kitchen (grandmother in Greek) !! We noticed that there were no salt and pepper shakers on the tables, and we clearly didn't have to ask why, we got the hint, because the food did not even need an extra ingredient at all. Perfection! And to add on the great dining experience, We were welcomed with warm homemade bread served with olive oil and olives with such a superb presentation! read more

The only reason this place even get's one star is because the waitress was very good and the restaurant had a nice vibe. The food? We left after appetizers and did not even order dinner. Where to begin? My wife's pinot grigio, served room temp. The octopus salad- octopus overcooked, salad was a can of white beans opened, rinsed off and served with some minced carrot and onion, zero flavor. The roasted eggplant dip was pureed so much it was soupy like baby food. The feta dip with roasted red peppers- was feta cheese and some rare bits of roasted pepper. The skordalia- what a joke! It was mashed potato with a little olive oil. It was so thick, had no garlic and no flavor. They had no taramosalata on a Saturday night at 5:45pm. The pita bread was from the day before. However, the feta wrapped in phyllo drizzled with honey was really good. Unfortunately, just was a very disappointing dining experience. read more
