This place was beyond amazing! The staff was friendly, good amount of seating inside and small amount outside. The food was some of the best middle eastern food I've had: the falafel was not dry at all, the sauces were all amazing. The pita was so fresh and warm. So so good!

Returned for takeout this week and it's still delicious. The service was a bit faster, although it might have been my timing. I love that I can order an then wander stores on Mill Street and hear my name called over the outdoor speaker when my food is ready. Still the most delicious pita I've eaten!

Delicious food and really quaint and comfortable seating. They offer quick counter service and call your name to come pick it up.

I am submitting an update- The food was great. The service was fantastic! The guy at the register is such a joy. And the presentation was perfect. This just may be my favorite restaurant in Grass Valley now. Thank you!

this place is a hidden Gem. every dish we tried was fresh and delightful. The vibrant falafels were so tasty we ordered seconds. get those for sure. the desserts were also very tasty, and i think dairy free, which made them more impressive. the aromas wafting in the kitchen on a cold day were so cozy and intoxicating, and the service was also memorable with genuine smiles and attentive care. I even left with a little treat, a clipping of a long pathos they had. This place serves cozy joy.

A rose for the review !

Excellent Grass Valley eatery with the Best Mediterranean/Middle Eastern food. Get the Meze plate with all the great hummus, baba ganoush, etc. The full pita sandwich deluxe version, is excellent. They even have gluten free pita, and the regular version is fluffy & delicious. The restaurant has both an indoor dining area and a little outdoor seating space. This is one of my go-to restaurants in the twin towns (GV and NC).

Beef & Lamb Kebab plate. Delish. Would have liked a little more pita!

Solid! Incredibly high quality food, slightly higher prices than I was expecting for Grass Valley, but I'm always willing to pay for fresh, locally sourced food. Ordered online, arrived to a BUSY Friday night and my order had not yet been filled. I wasn't in a hurry, so I sat and waited. It was 20 minutes after my scheduled pickup time, but the staff thanked me for my patience.... They were hustling back there for sure so I didn't mind. The food was excellent - fresh and flavorful. Portions were on the smaller side so I'm glad I ordered the full pita and not the half. The raw desserts were awesome for this lactose-intolerant girl! Extra points for the compostable to-go containers!

Meze never disappoints! I love their vegan bowl and I add chicken shawarma cause it's the best in town. I love that they expanded their indoor space, the ambiance is really nice and service was fast thanks to a young girl with long black hair and a warm smile whose name I forgot to ask.

MeZe's food is absolutely delicious, yet the orders can take a long time to prepare. I suggest calling your order in ahead of time.

The sun was out, we'd done our fair share of walking, and an ice cream cone sounded like just what the doctor ordered. I grabbed a fresh waffle cone loaded with some kind of almond fudge mocha masterpiece don't ask me the official name because I was too busy enjoying it! The boy got something different, and judging by how fast it disappeared, I'd say he approved too. The waffle cone was fresh, the ice cream was rich and creamy, and every bite hit the spot. It's one of those little places that fits Nevada City perfectly simple, welcoming, and exactly what you hope to find while exploring an old mining town. If you're strolling through downtown on a warm afternoon, do yourself a favor and stop at Treat. Cool off, grab a cone, sit on a bench, and watch the world go by. First class all the way. After all... they didn't name it Treat for nothing. Go ahead treat yourself.

We ordered a house sausage pizza and to add the salami to the pizza which was a great choice loved the pizza we watched it get made right in front of us and their bacon and cheddar melt. I personally though the bacon and cheddar melt was fine I probably wouldn't order it again looking back on it just simply on the fact it was $21 and the pizza was $23 it just felt very boring and overpriced in comparison to the pizza. I do love the sustainability of this place but find it odd the water cups are plastic after all the effort put into reusable, sustainable, organic, and farm fresh It definitely eat here again especially with the fact the menu is always changing the pastries here were a hit every other table had something from the bakery or a pizza.
